My family and I were here for a winter wedding at Zigbone Farm. We were so fortunate to have found Stoney Spring Overlook for our stay. The house is charming, comfortable and spacious. The views are breathtaking. They was not one thing that we needed, the house is very well equipped. We felt right at home and Jeanne was the most gracious host. Jeanne provided lots of valuable information about nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and scenic spots. 5 stars is hardly enough, I wish I could give more. We look forward to returning to what the other seasons are like at Stoney Spring Overlook.

The house was exactly as described. Beautiful neighborhood right near the water. The amenities were up-to-date. Just perfect for my family visit. Leida was very responsive to all questions.

The location was amazing with the pool and the waterfront. The grandkids loved fishing and swimming. Couple observations: The lawn service came when we were there but only mowed the lawn and did not mow around the pool. No edging or weeding was done in the landscaping Pool service came when we were there and was great Garbage pick up came and pulled all the way down the driveway which was great Bathrooms could use some love. Oven could also use some love I would recommend taking bottle water and ice if you have a large group. We made a few runs to the General Store and Safeway. All in all we would give it 5 stars. This was our 3rd year renting their Potomac Overlook home for our family Thanksgiving and once again, our entire family loved staying here! The home is spacious with plenty of bed- and bathrooms plus super-comfortable beds. And the property is absolutely beautiful with its Potomac River-front location and plenty of very usable outdoor space. We highly recommend it!

Duane was warm and accommodating! The space was exactly as described and conveniently located. The sauna was a huge plus. We'll be back in warmer weather to utilize the pool!

A perfect, quiet, peaceful & healing weekend for me & my little girl (pup) at this cozy & lovely cottage, situated right on the Chesapeake Bay. The sound of the waves crashing, the deep golden sunrises & pristine beach, filled with the prettiest seashells were the highlights of my stay. Thank you so much for sharing your little gem with me.

This place was amazing! Beautifully updated with plenty of room for our family to stay and gather. The views of the bay were exceptional with sunsets on the water every night! Janet was a perfect host. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

Amazing Stay with a Fantastic host! I had a wonderful experience staying at Rob’s place. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. He was friendly, attentive, and always available to answer any questions or offer recommendations. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It would have been enough to sit on the Adirondack chairs watching the sun go down across the water, gently rippling in the red-hued light. It would have been enough to have a roof over our heads and a camp stove boiling a billy of tea. But along with the beautiful view, we got an exquisite residence, gracefully appointed with delicate but bold furnishings, redolent of elegant craftsmanship and subtle design inspirations. Surrounded by beauty, both natural and engineered, our three nights away were restorative and rejuvenating beyond our expectations. To boot, Evan is a kind, communicative, and attentive host. My wife and I are planning a return visit.

Great place to stay. Easy drive in and out. So easy to find. The living room had the most comfortable couch we had ever stayed in. The kitchen was well equipped stocked with essentials. Check in and check out was super easy. This home is a great example of a classic Frederick home, meaning it had character and style.

Angie's place was perfect for a wedding my group went to on the island. Cooking in the kitchen was slightly difficult due to the limited pots and pans, but we made do. I reached out to Angie about the dishwasher not drying properly because we needed to re-wash the dishes that were from the prior renters because it smelled funky. She assured me that she was going to look into that issue. Overall the beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

It was the perfect spot for a family gathering. The home was nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and plenty of room for 6 adults. We found ourselves spending our mornings in the front living room looking at the beautiful water view and variety of birds landing on the water (binoculars were provided). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Since it was February and part of the creek was frozen, we didn’t get to enjoy the kayaks or fire pit, but they did provide plenty of fire wood. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and they were very nice. All around it was a place we will return.

The attention to detail—from the cozy decor to the thoughtful amenities—made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. yet still peaceful and quiet for a restful stay. Meka was an exceptional host, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We truly appreciated the little extras, like complimentary coffee and wine. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone

Patti was an amazing host. She made sure that we had everything we need and she went the extra mile providing toys for our toddler. The house was beautiful. Very peaceful neighbourhood and you can just walk to the beach where you can find nice restaurants and a playground. Perfect getaway for families. And the heated pool is the icing on the cake

We had a great stay at this clean, comfortable, convenient and cozy house. We were impressed by the attention to detail. Every time we needed something, it was there. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving meal. We were close to Annapolis And had an easy drive to the museums of DC. We took several walks to the nearby beach, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. We would definitely come back! Thank you, Peggy!

My children and I loved our stay!! It was very comfortable, clean, and had plenty of space. The host was very sweet and responsive, and it was nice to have our own little driveway and porch. We will definitely stay again!! Also, the location was great. Not too far from MANY shopping plazas and malls. Took my kids to the movies, Build a Bear, and bowling.... all in different locations, all less than a 25 miles (or way less) from this home!!

This little gem was a great find. We were able to have our dogs with us, the host was extremely responsive, and the house was private with lots of room. The king bed was so comfy!

Chau was very gracious to host our family at a difficult time - a death in the family. The space was more than adequate for our needs and was clean and inviting. Guests should note that there are a few oddities with a couple of the bedrooms. First, one of the Jack and Jill bedrooms has a 'window' that is open to the kitchen area below and only covered by permanently closed shutters. It is definitely not soundproof. The other is the room that 'shares a bathroom with the master'. It indeed shares that room because it is directly off of the master bathroom with no other access. Other than that, it was an amazing stay in a very large home on a very large lot. Thanks, Chau!

It was really easy to book with John; the home was very relaxing to enjoy while visiting our family. The place is beautiful and spotless. John is a great host-we”re looking forward to booking again.

Very clean, nicely sized 3 bedroom guest house. Very easy access to the interstate and DC. Close to restaurants and groceries, etc. The host is very responsive and accommodated our early check in, which was a huge help. My only small complaints which did not impact our stay but were a little disappointing - the furnishings overall are outdated and could use a refresh. There are also no TVs in any of the bedrooms. We would have appreciated a TV in the master bedroom to watch the news in the morning, etc. The 1 TV is on the first level of the 2 level home. We would stay with Maryann again, overall a great rental for what we needed!
