Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

nous avons passés trois nuits dans un logement très agréable à proximité de nombreux sites. il est très bien équipé, au calme et nous avons pu voir des aurores boréales depuis le canapé à travers les baies vitrées du salon. nous recommandons fortement ce logement ! merci pour l'accueil et les idées de visites à proximité !

This house was perfect. The hostesses met us when we arrived, gave us instructions on things they wanted us to make sure we knew (for safety and such due to the temperatures), and spent around 2 hours giving us a tour and history of the house. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and they were so thoughtful with all of their recommendations for activities with our children. We 100% recommend this house to others and we will be coming back in the future!

The property was perfectly located in Vik, it was walking distance to restaurants/ stores (weather permitting). It was very clean, had plenty of space for my party of 6 adults. The house had everything we needed and made us feel right at home. We loved our stay!

No regrets!! We had been looking forward to our stay at Rakel and Stefán’s home since we booked it and when we drove up to their home it is so pretty! There are windows in every room of the house which we loved - you can watch the sunrise, sunset and the aurora from all directions it is so pretty 🤍 Their front porch is huge with 2 comfy outdoor chairs which we sat in to watch the aurora that night. Their home also faces a fence and right behind that fence had so many Icelandic horses - they were running in circles during the aurora which was magical!! Their home has all listed amenities + hair conditioner!! (often missed out in other listings) + great heating, we never once felt cold during our stay here~ Do not hesitate - book it and try it out for yourself! Thank you Rakel and Stefán for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Unnur’s place was perfect for us. Very comfortable, clean and well-located to the city. She was so nice and responsive and even let us check in super early because of our flight timing, which is unique and something I really appreciated!! Definitely recommend :)

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place is so cute and the horses are a bonus! They were so sweet! We even got to see the lights! We would definitely come back!

This place is an absolute gem! We spent thoroughly enjoyed this secluded home. The hot tub was perfect for enjoying an evening outside. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. Everything was wonderful.

Our favorite Airbnb ever! This gorgeous house was tastefully decorated with amazing amenities and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Everything was spotless, and the instructions were clear. Telma was friendly and responsive, making us feel right at home. It was the perfect end to our vacation – waking up on the lake with mountain views and goats passing by each day. The weather was rough during our visit so we spent a lot of our time indoors - this was the perfect retreat. We already miss the sauna, it was hard to say goodbye. Absolutely perfect in every way! Thanks for the memories.

Jon's place in Flúðir was a delightful surprise! The space was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic countryside. The bathroom was a particular highlight, feeling more like a luxurious 5-star hotel than a vacation rental. The place was fully equipped with everything I needed, making our stay truly hassle-free. Jon was also very responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

If I could give 1000 stars for this stay I would!! We absolutely LOVED this little cottage. The aesthetic is probably my most favorite of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Super clean! Very comfortable bed! Our host was wonderful to us. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend!!

Super séjour, contacts faciles et localisation attractive pour le Golden Circle, Reykjavik ou les plages de sable noir. Il est important de prendre en compte qu'il faut ouvrir et fermer la porte aux chats qui habitent le logement.

Abbiamo alloggiato 4 notti in questa bellissima casa, affacciata a un lago che rende il tutto ancora più affascinante. Immersa nel nulla, lontano dalle luci della città è il luogo ideale per risintonizzarsi con la natura circostante, ammirare un cielo stellato che ti toglierà il fiato, e se si è fortunati, quanto lo siamo stati noi, assistere al meraviglioso fenomeno dell'aurora boreale. Ci siamo subito sentiti accolti dall'ampio salotto, dove abbiamo trascorso piacevoli serate a chiacchierare e ridere. La cucina è attrezzatissima di ogni elettrodomestico e non ci è mancato veramente nulla. Ambiente caldo e molto pulito, le camere e i letti confortevoli. Che dire, se dovessi ritornare in Islanda molto probabilmente alloggerei di nuovo qui.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained home in a convenient location close to all the Golden Circle highlights. The view from the living room is very scenic. Steini was a very responsive and communicative host. We had a great winter stay at this home.

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful cabin! The location is unbeatable – surrounded by nature with breathtaking views of the Icelandic landscape. At the same time, Vík is just a short drive away, making it easy to reach restaurants and shops. The cabin itself is cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed,– perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The host was very friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone who loves peace and nature. A true gem in South Iceland
