Fantastic location, the cottage was on the hill overlooking the valley and surrounded by hills. We had a dog and the hosts went out of their way to make us hospitable. They have an in-house restaurant and I must say that we enjoyed the dinner very much. The place was basic but with all amenities and given that the place is just getting renovated, give it few days and the place would be all shining. Enjoyed the holiday. Thank you so much

We stayed at Corne’s place en route to the Kruger Park, and it has officially become our new preferred halfway stop. The cottage is located on a working farm, which my daughter absolutely loved—she enjoyed interacting with the animals and experiencing the farm life. The unit itself was exceptionally well appointed, with all the amenities we needed and more. The beds were of a notably high quality, which is a rare find. Corne was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, even leaving us fresh eggs from the farm as a welcome gift. As indicated in the listing, the cottage is situated next to the railway line. Trains do pass by, but surprisingly, they do not disturb one’s rest. Similarly, although you can hear some traffic from the nearby N4, the natural farm sounds—roosters, birds, sheep, and cows—create a peaceful ambiance that easily outweighs any road noise. Highly recommended for those wanting to give Dullstroom a skip on the way to the Kruger

We had such a lovely, peaceful holiday on this farm. The surroundings are beautiful. It was relatively easy to get to. The house itself is lovely, and spacious. Juanita was easy to communicate with and always answered our messages. I would highly recommend this as a destination of some peace and quiet is what you’re after. There are cows and sheep grazing all around, and various buck and monkeys often peeking into the garden. There are many places to walk, and as a dog lover I was able to walk my dogs happily on lead all over the farm. We will definitely be back.

Such a lovely house. So much character and charm. The pictures don't do it justice. Really enjoyed our visit there, will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

Malie's place exceeded our expectations in terms of conveniences, location, and layout. We met the lovely neighbours working on a community project in the park with their passle of doggies, and they were friendly and helpful. The house is situated with a veranda view over the park and mountains in a quiet area where you hear birdsong every day, which is delightful. We will certainly be returning here on any future visits to Boven.

The cottage was very private, clean and tranquil. Well set out and thoughtfully decorated. It catered for all amenities and more. Linen was crisp and cosy. Plenty of towels and blankets should you need. Small welcome gifts a great touch. Wild antelope and plains game were well looked after and healthy. Hikes were easy and a great amble around the farm, encountering most game on the farm, birds ( fish eagles), and beautiful flowers. We will return and stay for longer.
