exactly as described. easy walk to beach access and peir, maybe two city blocks? Canal views were great at sunrise and sunset. Home was spotless and clean. Host was very responsive to notes and questions.

Our family enjoyed a month-long stay at this beautiful property. The space is tranquil, well-appointed, welcoming, and calming- uncluttered. The kitchen is well stocked (e.g., generous numbers of dinnerware and utensils) to allow meal prep and family dining. Easy cleanup throughout the home (no carpets, just area rugs; washer and dryer). The first floor primary suite allowed 2 family members with limited mobility to join us and participate. The home easily and comfortably accommodated our family (5 adults and 2 children). We love the area and enjoy the local restaurants and cute boutiques for shopping. Plenty of entertainment for children- playgrounds, nearby waterfront, local beaches, ferry excursions, and pools in season. We highly recommend this home and plan to return in the near future. Bonnie is an excellent host!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was immaculate - it smelled clean, looked clean and truly was spotless. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Nick is very responsive and nice. The amenities were wonderful, our kids LOVED the foosball table - we had family tournaments every day! The neighborhood is peaceful, and we could walk half a block to the bridge for a sunset. The kayaks were fun! Thank you for a wonderful time, and we can’t wait to come back!

My family joins our Marine in Atlantic Beach every other year the week of Thanksgiving. It’s a week of cooking, games, puzzles, football, laughing, singing, corn hole, and meeting new Marines that need a table to sit at on Thanksgiving. This year was our best year yet. Isaac’s house was perfect for our week. The long table was a constant gathering spot for everyone. The sectional in front of the TV was extremely comfortable. Everyone slept good and requested to return to this house. Great place! Thank you for an awesome visit.

Awesome home to relax in privacy, close to everything

We really enjoyed our stay at John’s. It’s a private, peaceful location just off the water and a short drive to get to town. The house was very comfortable and our dog was happy to run around in the spacious fenced-in yard. Communication was outstanding throughout and everything was as good, if not better than advertised. Would love to stay again sometime and highly recommend! Thank you!!!

We are an active large family and this stay was exactly what we needed. It was walking distance to a few restaurants, and the beach! Location was centrally located to many other places to discover. We also spent hours playing ping-pong, corn hole, and darts below the house while cooking burgers on the charcoal grill. Highly recommend this jem in the heart of Carolina Beach! Would love to stay here again.

This was our second stay at Chris's waterfront cottage. We were lucky enough to be here during the local Christmas holiday festivities in Oriental. Chris's place was so peaceful and serene. We can't wait to stay again!

Second time staying here, and we still love the lovely house, the location, the views of the canal and OIB. Plenty of space for our 6 member family, close to beach (3 minute walk), private canal pier. Highly recommend, just make sure to pack toiletries and linens!

Our stay at Carolyn’s Lighthouse was exceptional from start to finish! The accommodations were top-notch, blending comfort and style seamlessly. The highlight was definitely the hot tub and outdoor movie theater—both were perfect for relaxing evenings after a day of exploration. We especially appreciated the host's, Richard’s, friendliness and attentiveness, making us feel right at home. The quick trip to the nearby beach was a hit with everyone, offering a refreshing and fun escape. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

Steve and Hannah’s home was perfect for a family get away. The house was cozy and had beautiful sunrise and sunset views!

We LOVED our quick stay in topsail! Sue's place is just done right all around. It is one of the cleanest, well appointed, and a place where you feel at home. The kids enjoyed the hang area under the waterside porch. In a quiet area of topsail its great to visit year round.

It is a great place for a large family, with 4 bedrooms. One room listed as having 2 twins actually had a trundle bed that which, when pulled out would take up most of the room. We really enjoyed having multiple living spaces and the outdoor areas were wonderful.

Pam is an excellent host with a great place to stay at for peace and relaxation! I would recommend this place time and time again. Will be back!

We spent a week at Pebbys Place. It was so relaxing. We walked at the State Park and saw an amazing mural there. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, also the barbecue. The house is comfortable and has wonderful views of the lake. We fished, biked, paddled and enjoyed the amazing bird life from the dock and the canal.
