Book this place!! We had such a great time at the beach and in this Airbnb. Our group was comprised of 3 couples and 2 infants and we were so comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and made all of our meals with ease - one of the best equipped kitchens I've stayed in. We loved the location, truly a 3-5 minute walk to the beach (depending on how much you're carrying!), and a great view of the Sound. The Airbnb was bigger than I expected and having 2.5 bathrooms was great for our group size. Highly recommend!!

Had a lovely couple days in this adorable rental. It's a cold & quiet time of year on BHI and the condo was a cozy place to return to each evening, to stream movies while relaxing on the comfy couch under a blanket. The condo had everything we needed, all very efficiently laid out, and super clean. Hosts were very fast to respond to our questions. Would highly recommend for a small group. Will def keep in mind for our next visit to BHI.

Great stay for my family and two dogs. Ashley was quick and easy to text with. Ideal location. Easily walk to beach. Would stay again and hope to do so.

My wife and I wanted to try somewhere different since we normally go to the beach in Atlantic Beach. We decided to try Topsail. What a great decision. Missy's place was fantastic!! We found it to be exactly as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to local restaurants and activities. It was a very short walk to the pool and beach. And the VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR!! Missy was a great host. She was very responsive and friendly. We would highly recommend it and will for sure be back ourselves. The only negative from our stay was having to leave!!

This place is amazing. When I have to stay at other places, I always hold them to Rob's standards and they hardly ever meet those. His place is clean and convenient. It's literally about 6 steps to the ocean. I think my favorite thing is the two decks facing the ocean. You could just sit there for hours and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of space to just hang out and chill. All that you would ever need in a kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. I straight up don't want to stay anywhere else but here. Thank you Rob for another perfect stay!

We actually booked another Airbnb but the host cancelled on us when we were on the literal doorstep. We had to scramble since it was a holiday weekend and everything was booked and expensive. We finally found Tony’s place. He was super responsive. It was clean, and convenient both in location and amenities. Also it smelled so good, which is a weirdly big thing for me. We were very thankful to have found it so last minute

This is the 2nd consecutive year we’ve stayed here for our annual girls trip! We usually go to a different beach each year but we came back to Kure because we liked this house so much. I really can’t say enough good things about it. Super convenient to the beach so our group can come and go as they please. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and we feel very safe here. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but this year we drove 10 minutes to Carolina Beach which was also very easy and convenient. Michelle is very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

We enjoyed our stay. Terri and David’s place had everything we needed and the view of the marina was beautiful. We would return again!

This is our second time staying in this Airbnb and it was once again great. Easy to get to CL and restaurants too. Highly recommend it. Quiet, clean, spacious, upgraded, comfortable, warm and bright.

Jake’s home is in great location! We enjoy the ability to explore the area by foot and access downtown easily. There was plenty of parking available and neighborhood is quiet. The home itself is spacious with plenty of amenities. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Home was very neat and clean. Beds were very comfortable and had nice bedding. shower had great water pressure. Location was easy to find.

I went to New Bern with a friend from many years ago for a short visit. We each wanted our own bedroom and bathroom, plus the place had to be pretty (of course!). I searched online for a while - hotels, Bed and Breakfast places, other ABNB dwellings, but Connie's was absolutely perfect. The townhouse is really prettier than the pictures and the setting is incredibly peaceful. We sat on the deck beside the waterway/canal each afternoon we were there. We also spent time on the deck and the enclosed porch which have nice views of the water. The townhouse was very well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire dwelling was extremely clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms are spacious and pleasant in appearance. There is a small balcony adjoining one of the bedrooms and sitting there with a cup of hot tea was a nice way to start the day. Compared to other places I looked at, this was a much better value. The home is lovely and Connie is easy to reach if there are questions.

I was in town for 2 weeks on a work trip. Home was comfortable and location was great. Close to my office and convenient to lots of shopping and dining options.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed in the complex. I highly recommend this location at unit 27. Closer to the beach. Easy access to the pool which is great when having kids with you. Super sweet lady to deal with.

Cathy place was amazing, their team was very accommodating and understanding to our circumstances. We loved how thoughtful and responsive she was. The views were amazing. The home felt like home. Plenty of towels and blankets. Spacious, loved the two levels! Enjoyed the fire pit on the balcony. Will come back when it’s hot as they have everything you need to hangout by the beach. We will be back for sure. Cathy’s place is a MUST when visiting Emerald Isle!

Beautiful place with a beautiful view! This house was perfect for a getaway. I fell in love with the breathtaking view of the sound and the 3 minute walk to the beach. Erik and Tracey were amazing hosts. Both were not only quick to respond, but also very amiable. Can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rose's Airbnb. The place was clean and organized, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions for everything. Rose's attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. She generously provided a complimentary bottle of wine, along with a selection of drinks and snacks, which made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Her hospitality and thoughtful touches made our stay truly special. We highly recommend staying at Rose's place and would love to return in the future.

We have stayed at Marc and Rebecca’s many times and always check their availability first when visiting family in the Wilmington area. Their home is always clean and neat. It contains all amenities listed. The location is great and a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. The back yard has a small lake where we usually see a fisherman and several types of water birds. The neighborhood feels safe and convenient for walking. Check in and Check out are easy. Marc and Rebecca are quick to answer any questions.

The place exceeding our expectations. It was easy to get into when we checked in. We had five adults and two children (ages 2 and 6) in our family. My 80 year old mother was with as well. The elevator was a life saver for her. The layout allowed the parents and children to have the entire 2nd floor to themselves. Great grandma also stayed on the 2nd floor as there were 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms on this floor. The 4th floor was a great place to hang out, play games, and put a huge puzzle together. It also had an amazing sleep space, although we did not need it. The full bathroom on this floor was also much appreciated. The kitchen was amazing, having everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together throughout the week. The beach was very close (3 min walk) on a nice boarded walk way with no traffic or worries as we walked with little ones daily. The pool was very close as well and made a great alternative when kids tired of the beach. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s 4th year at EI and the Pelican Plunge might be my favorite we’ve been to thus far. The location is wonderful. You can walk or park at the community’s private beach access. We always rent a golf cart so having one available for us to use was amazing. Similarly to other reviewers, it really did feel like staying at a friends place. The home was very clean (no weird smell like some places), comfortable and was the perfect setting for my family’s vacation. Also, the beds were so comfortable, I have never slept so well at a rental! Even though it’s 3 stories, the stairs weren’t an issue at all because they were broken up into half flights so it was perfect for my mother to handle with a bad knee and for my toddler. We also loved spending time on all the decks listening to the ocean and enjoying the sea breeze. Nikki was an exceptional host, communicating with her was a breeze and I knew I could reach out for anything. I’m so happy we stayed at the Pelican Plunge!
