Tolle Finca in der Nähe von Torrox und Nerja. Wir wurden mit frischen Mangos und Kakis empfangen :) Rafael, Mari Carmen und Manolo haben uns toll empfangen, waren immer erreichbar und haben sich schnell und zuverlässig gekümmert. Alles war super!

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Una auténtica maravilla, ideal para desconectar y disfrutar del entorno. Es un privilegio desayunar en una terraza mirando a las montañas, almorzar en la terraza techada con una maravillosa barbacoa de gas, merendar junto a la piscina y cenar mirando la chimenea. Todo muy limpio y muy completo en servicios. El camino de acceso puede parecer complicado, pero estaba en muy buenas condiciones a pesar de las lluvias. Ramona ha sido muy buena anfitriona.

I just returned from a wonderfully therapeutic two-week stay at the Finca and can confirm it’s every bit as picturesque as it appears in the photos. There are plenty of cozy outdoor nooks and crannies from which to enjoy the rolling hills and nearby valley. Francisco and Maria have clearly devoted a lot of thought to both the outdoor and indoor design: the patios are framed by well-tended greenery, and the interior exudes a warm, arts-and-crafts-style ambience. Every amenity I needed was on hand—special shoutout to the large oven and cooking gear, which let me indulge my culinary passions without a hitch. Above all, the peace and quiet here are remarkable. While the property feels delightfully secluded, everything functions perfectly, from the filtered water and excellent plumbing (including an always-on hot tub) to the pellet heater that kept things cozy during my winter stay. In short, I had a magnificent time at the Finca, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Full marks from me!

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Estuve allí con mi pareja y nuestra estancia en la casita fue una experiencia inolvidable. El acceso a la casa es sencillo y merece la pena desconectar unos días allí. A la casa no le falta ningún detalle. El anfitrión es muy amable y atento. Nos dio unas instrucciones previas antes de llegar para que todo fuera sobre ruedas. No obstante, durante la estancia nos surgió una duda y pudimos comunicarnos con él de manera rápida y eficaz. Totalmente recomendable. ¡Volveremos!

Had a lovely stay here. Villa was very clean and well presented. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. You will definitely need a car to get to the property as you have to drive down single track mountain roads to access it. Antonio looked after us well, we had a small problem one day and he came and sorted it after just a few hours. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor kitchen/bar area was amazing. There’s even a large paella pan which we put to good use. All the bedrooms have air conditioning which we needed as it was mid 40s during our stay! You are charged for the air con using a meter which we didn’t know until arrival but it was only €65 for the week and we had it on every night in every bedroom. The pool was very clean and Antonio came to clean it halfway through the week.

I would love to keep this wonderful place a secret. We spent a month relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of various fruit trees and flowers. This is one of the best equipped villas we have ever stayed in,lots of cooking utensils,first aid box,sewing kit ,the list goes on Ángel was such a wonderful host,responsive to any questions or requests we had.. Our whole experience has been magical with the lovely pool as an added bonus. Lots of outside areas to sit in either sun or shade. We will definitely return ,hopefully for even longer next time.

hermosa casa en un lugar de ensueño parece estar dentro de un cuento medieval, y de noche iluminado hace que uno quiera estar despierto... la casa de Maria Jose estaba impecable, limpieza excelente, los cuartos amplios y las camas comodas único detalle a tener en cuenta, dado que es un pueblo con calles angostas no se puede estacionar el auto en la puerta de la casa pero a pocos metros se encuentran áreas más amplias si vuelvo no tengo dudas q repito este alojamiento

Cudowny dom, wszystko co potrzeba, kominek na środku salonu był wspaniały! Super sprawdziło się to, że w domu było dużo miejsc do siedzenia i rozmawiania - 5 stołów w różnych lokalizacjach, dużo sof i foteli. Świetnie wyposażona kuchnia - bez problemu ugotowaliśmy obiad i kolację wigilijną dla 14 osób! Dziękujemy i żałujemy że byliśmy tak krótko (2 noce)!

Wir haben uns bei Mónica rundum wohl gefühlt! Die Lage des Hauses ist in den Bergen und damit sehr privat und ruhig. Alles war super sauber, Mónica hat sich bestens um unsere Ankunft gekümmert und uns schon vorab Tipps für die Organisation gegeben, die sehr praktisch waren. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Danke!

Mooie ruime tuin met veel zitjes. Wij waren deels van de tijd met 6 personen en daar is de ruimte zeker groot genoeg voor. Ook veel keukenspullen. Huis wordt goed warm met de houtkachel en heel mooi dat het hout wordt verstrekt. Wij hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in dit verblijf. Auto is een must om er te komen. Heel vriendelijke verhuurders. Aanrader!

Rosa Maria ist eine sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeberin. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer gut zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, aber auch sehr ruhig. Wir haben fast jeden Abend spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge erleben können. Für Ausflüge mit dem Auto ist das ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Man sollte sich immer für ein paar Tage mit Lebensmitteln bevorzugen. Die Küche ist hervorragend für Selbstversorger ausgestattet. Supermärkte und andere Einrichtungen sind in ca 2km Entfernung.

Era lo que buscábamos, zona de naturaleza con tranquilidad, y cerca de zonas que queríamos visitar, montefrio muy bonito y la zona muchas cosas que descubrír.

The view is absolutely stunning. We wanted a two day get away to actually do nothing and relax/enjoy ans it was absolutely perfect! If you feel adventurous you can take a 35min walk (beware of the fact the walk back home is INTENSE aha) and there's a cute restaurant and a gas station! There's even super cute animals 😍 I recommend this place 👌

This rental is even more beautifull than the pictures show. Located high into the andalusian mountains , very secluded and private. I do suggest renting a SUV type car considering the mountainous environment. The villa was absolutely spotless and very well equiped to make your stay a very comfortable one. The house has 2 fireplaces, one inside and one outside with a grill attached to it. Jose supplied lots of excellent dry wood for these fireplaces. Jose the owner is one of the best hosts we've ever had . He met us at 02.45 in the morning to help us find the villa. He brought us cakes from a nearby bakery. Brought fruits. Gave lots of relevant tips and really cared about our stay and wellbeing. Gave us wood for the fireplace for free. Was extremely responsive when we messaged him, a very kind and caring person we were quite impressed. All in all this rental was a great experience, and we loved every minute of our stay there. Uns hat es sehr gut dort gefallen, die Nachbarschaft war sehr ruhig und nett, die Kinder haben sich dort Wohlgefühl und hatten sehr viel spaß. Karina war immer abrufbereit wenn man sie kontaktiert hat. Wir würden auf jeden fall wieder kommen.

La casa es ideal para familias y grupos,el entorno precioso y tranquilo. Tuvimos una buena estancia,la piscina estupenda,nos atendieron muy bien,y gracias a que nos trajeron un mechero para encender la barbacoa,yá que se nos olvidó,muy agradecidos a ese detalle. Darle las gracias a Jose Luis por su flexibilidad en la salida,ibamos con niños y fué genial. Recomendable 100%.

An absolutely beautiful place and Juanjo was very helpful before and during our stay! The house had all the kitchen and bathroom necessities, and it was nice to sit by the fire inside at night and enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning. Great location as well, only about 10-15 min to get to some nice restaurants in Alora or some fun climbing in El Chorro.

We were together seven people from Finland and the USA for the first time visiting Andalusia. Sonia was waiting for us in the middle of Frigiliana and guided us to her beautiful house. At the house everything was just as described in her ad on Airbnb. Everything was clean and in good order. She also told us interesting stories of the history of the house and her family. Also her tips of places to see and restaurants to visit were very useful. Unfortunately she wasn't able to change the weather but she arranged more firewood to make our stay more comfortable. I'm sure that we'll try to arrange a new visit to the area and hire Villa Obispo if it is available. We all agreed that we can warmly recommend the place for visitors from anywhere. The views from the house are spectacular.

We werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. Voor zover nodig was Juan altijd bereikbaar. Het was een heerlijke plek om bij te komen. En de mooie plekken van Andalusië waren van daaruit goed bereikbaar. Wat ons betreft een aanrader.

Super séjour chez Adolfo et sa famille un hôte très gentil très serviable nous a gâté de petits cadeaux nous ainsi que les enfants et nous a bien aider le jour où nous sommes arrivée en nous trouvant directement une solution pour réparer la roue de notre véhicule je recommande surtout sa maison pour des vacances tranquille au calme avec les enfants ils on profité un maximum de la piscine nous rentrons de vacances très satisfait des images de l’Espagne plein la tête un pays magnifique et des personnes accueillantes merci pour tout nous espérons revenir un jour. 🇪🇸
