What a wonderful stay! The barn was just what we were looking for. A fabulous little space to unwind and recharge, within a few miles walking distance of Fordingbridge. Our host, Chris, was so welcoming and friendly, ensuring we had everything for our stay and sharing local knowledge of the area and a few good places to eat. We felt we could explore the space on our own, but should we need something, Chris would be available to support. The private use of the spa was amazing, a very clean and well-maintained space with sauna and hot tub. The bluetooth speakers was a great addition too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a chance to escape, unwind and relax.

Good points: Clear helpful instructions to this quiet and peaceful location Just like photos. Stylishly decorated Homemade jams and granola, honey, yoghurt, and bought-in croissants, tea and coffee left for us Very good log burner Natasha recommended a great pub nearby Slight quibbles- (hyper critical): Shower room a little functional Fair amount of owner's stuff about - e.g material swatches, 'Dad rock' albums and hifi . Overall, I recommend highly.

Our first proper visit to Dartmoor was a great experience, largely thanks to the comforts of Francesca’s beautiful barn. It is “in the middle of nowhere” yet only just down the road really from a pub and shop. The location offers a perfect place to explore the local area. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. It is well laid out as part of three houses together and offers considerable privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sara and Rob’s, they were extremely welcoming and their property is lovely - just as described. We particularly enjoyed the tour of the farm and feeding all of the animals.

We had a wonderful quiet few days spent chatting and enjoying the beautiful surroundings the area had to offer. For a quiet getaway I could not recommend enough.

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

i had a lovely serene stay by myself in the barn. Wonderful walking, views, twinkly night skies and I even saw a barn owl swoop just infront of me at twilight. The barn is equipped so well, has everything you could possibly need, and i loved having a fire every evening. So cosy. I will be back. Thank you! x

A really nice place, with a great host!

We had a lovely one night getaway at Richard’s place, it was clean spacious and had all the amenities that were listed, he was lovely with greeting us upon arrival, showed us to the barn, we couldn’t thank Richard enough for taking his time to show us everything :)

Great little place with everything you need and peaceful location

Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful property. The location is fantastic to explore the countryside for miles! The views from the cart barn are amazing! The cart barn was warm all the time during a cold week. Our dogs loved the stay, the hosts were extremely dog friendly! Private garden was great for the dogs to wander round. The hot tub was lovely and private with only sheep bleating and cows mooing to hear! A lovely rural location with hardly any traffic at all but in only 15 minutes you can be in a lovely town with everything you need. Local milk and butter to arrive to was lovely we revisited the dairy for fresh milk multiple times! Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Was perfect for a Valentines getaway! We are so grateful to Sam and Adrian for extending their hospitality, they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we had plenty of information about the surrounding area! We have to give our thanks also to William who provided lots of snacks and drinks through his tuck shop :) The barn itself was cosy yet spacious, the bed was super comfortable and water pressure in the shower was decent. The kitchen was fully-equipped for us to make a beef wellington on Valentines night!! Even the temperatures were near freezing - that didn’t stop us from taking full advantage of the fire place out on the patio! Overall we had a wonderful stay and would love to come and stay again! Thank you again Sam, Adrian and William!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Thatch. Lisa was a fantastic host, and we particularly loved the animals, especially Horace the peacock. The location was perfect, as were the scones and prosecco that we greatly appreciated! They were a lovely extra touch. The Airbnb was very cosy, had everything we could have needed, and there was great attention to detail. All in all a wonderful stay!

We had such a lovely stay at Catherine's. Its a beautiful and cleverly converted, cosy little barn that was really pleasant to stay in. The location is very private and we really felt like we had the space to ourselves. Everything we could possibly need was provided including a welcome basket and a pint of milk. Catherine's communication was excellent including updates on local road works and she made sure we had a space to park. With plenty of good places to eat nearby, wonderful views and lots of interesting sites to visit it's a cracking location. Can highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Michelle's property . 3 families with children of various ages, plenty of space for them to run around. We unknowingly left an item at the property, Michelle went out of the way to make contact and send it to us. Going above and beyond! Beautiful location-will recommend.

Just returned from a long weekend, staying at The Barn at Rotherwood. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and had a great time. The Barn was perfect for us - really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Debbie was very responsive and left us a really generous welcome hamper for our arrival - thank you Debbie! It was perfectly situated, on the edge of Itchenor, and was easy to get to Chichester, Bosham and the Witterings from there. We would recommend staying here!

We loved staying at this property. We booked it as it was very close to the Kent Cookery School which we had booked for a belated Christmas present. The property was a quiet and peaceful escape for us for the weekend. The bed was really comfy, the lounge was warm and cosy ( even without the fire on) and the shower was great. Larissa has really thought about what clients need for a relaxing and carefree experience. The property has lots of added extras, there’s a lot of thought gone into this place. There’s also loads of helpful guides and tips for travelling around the area and where to visit. There is a lovely business park next door, walkable in less than 5 minutes with lovely shops and eateries. We could have easily stayed longer in this area. There is a hot tub in the grounds which was amazing. Watching the stars in the dark (no light pollution) whilst in a lovely warm hot tub, with a glass of fizz was fabulous. One of those life experiences that will always stay with you.

We had a marvellous time at the Long Barn. Idyllic location and super cosy. Gazing at stars whilst listening to owls on a frosty evening was an added unexpected bonus. Exceeding our expectations, this Airbnb is a real find. Sarah is an exceptional host - she even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast. Go there! You won't be disappointed.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

A lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights - nothing really to do in the area so more for if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Very well equipped and clean. Excellent host, really friendly and great communication. Would definitely stay again if we were to travel back to the area. We were staying for a wedding at treetop escapes - very close to the venue

Very nice place would come back, facilities fully stocked and better then what we thought.
