Peppermint Cottage was the perfect place for a cozy, relaxing getaway. We loved the big fireplace and hot tub under the stars. Everything is just as pictured with comfy beds, plenty of towels, and very clean. Diane was a great host who thought of so many of special touches from a fire going when we arrived and lantern for the hot tub walk to cookies, coffee, and fresh eggs. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at James's beautiful home! It was welcoming, clean, and exactly as described but even more beautiful and unique in person. The home had such great character and was in a great location, with two great restaurants and a small local market just a 2-minute walk away. We loved the fenced-in backyard, as did our dog! James was proactive and friendly in his messaging. We stay in the area often and this was definitely a standout property. We hope to stay there again soon!

Madeline was a delightful host. Very responsive and helpful, even sent me some links to some of the items in the home that we enjoyed. The home felt warm, inviting, and cozy. This was the exact get away we needed! Not a ton of restaurants around but if you’re willing to drive a little you can find some great places! Overall 10/10 and have recommended to many already! This is added to my “going again” list!

If dating sites were as good as AirBnB at matching people with a prospective partners, then nearly everyone would be married! Anna provided a unique setting for our week upstate visiting family. She houses a few former race horses and ponies, which were a treat to meet and introduce to grandkids. The property is close to Saratoga, but feels rural and rustic and peaceful. The apartment is well-appointed and comfortable and easy to access. Anna is an excellent host who leaves you alone, but is friendly and full of knowledge about horses and horse racing as she was a former jockey. A very special experience.

Our stay was wonderful! We arrived when it was dark, which I might recommend against, as there aren’t any yard lights (it’s a little spooky). The parking areas were easy to navigate, but we had to pull up the map to find our cabin, which didn’t take too long. We built a campfire and made dinner over the fire and all the starter supplies was very convenient. If you plan on cooking over the nearby campfire, bring your own cooking oil! Plenty of other kitchen supplies were available. It was windy in the morning, so we didn’t get to go out onto the water, but it was a beautiful view right on the water. I highly recommend this specific cabin! Also! Very important to bring a flashlight!

I cannot say enough good things about Shane’s home. Our stay was amazing. All the beds were so comfortable. His instructions were clear every step of the way. The hot tub and sauna were an amazing bonus. Shane was extremely helpful every time I reached out. I look forward to coming back!

My wife and I planned a weekend at Joel and Viv’s cabin with our two dogs and had a great time! Beautiful home, warm fireplace and surrounded by nature. The house is fully stocked with everything you need and the downstairs is cozy for a movie night, especially in the winter. Very relaxing weekend if you want to get away from the city. Joel and Viv were super responsive and everything went smoothly.

I had the most wonderful stay! The space was lovely, clean, and looked exactly like the photos—if not better! The chairs were incredibly comfortable, and the blankets provided an extra cozy touch, making it the perfect place to relax. The fireplace was an absolute highlight, especially after traveling from North Carolina to New York, where the weather was cold and wet—it made the space warm and inviting. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the large televisions in every room made it feel like a true home away from home. I also felt like I was on a spa retreat with the amazing sauna and anti-gravity chairs—such a luxurious touch! The fire pit was another fantastic addition that we enjoyed so much. Julius, the host, was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Whenever I visit the area again, this will always be the first place I check for availability!
