This was our fourth year staying at Barbara's and the place has now become as familiar to us as a second home. We again enjoyed our long weekend and expect to return next March. The lodge is cozy, well maintained and has all the attributes to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. Thanks Barbara.

It was a pleasure to stay at the house on the hill! I wish I had more time here. It is very calm, peaceful, and easy to relax. I got a great night's sleep, which is not an easy thing for me to do! I appreciated the updated fixtures and smart home features. It had everything you needed to be comfortable. I hope to stay here again next time I'm in Erie.

A cute house, with a cottage like feel. The host was friendly and communicated well. The neighbor we met was friendly. Everything was clean and we were able to check in early. The only negative was that the driveway is hard to find. If the host hadn’t sent us extra instructions, I don’t think we would have found it.

This Airbnb was spacious and comfortable. It was in a great location so close to town. It was perfect! There is a nice yard and long driveway that is convenient for parking. I stayed in the bedroom with the workspace and I enjoyed using the desk. The bed was comfortable and I liked the ceiling fan as well. The house was so roomy and comfortable. I just wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to North East.

Had a wonderful time at AJ’s place. He is very friendly and helpful. The cottage is decorated really cozy and there are plenty of amenities including washer/ dryer, coffee, ice, condiments. Smokey the cat is super friendly too ;) Hope to stay there again in the fall for more Steelhead fishing!

We had a party of six for an extended weekend ski trip to Holiday Valley and Peek’n Peak ski resorts and this cabin ideally suited our needs; especially the location. The cabin is very spacious and welcoming making it ideal for a group this size. At the entrance is a long hallway ideally set up for coats and ski gear with plenty of room. On the right side of the hallway is a bathroom. It’s the only one, but it was not an issue for six adults as everyone had ample opportunity to take showers, etc. It also houses the nice W/D setup. We loved how the kitchen faced the living and dining room, which was surrounded by huge sliding doors overlooking the valley. It was like bringing the outdoors inside. The upstairs has three nice bedrooms of which two were classic “A” frame design. The primary bedroom had a big closet. Also upstairs was a cozy reading nook that had chairs that do double duty as beds. Really cool. In the summer time the wraparound deck would be nice to use. In all, 5 Stars.

Communication with Sandra was excellent and her place was spotlessly clean. The location was great for our fishing trip!

Sherri's place was perfect for our girl's getaway. We stayed for 3 nights and felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to prepare our meals. We didn't have any issues but Sherri was quick to respond to any questions. We chatted, cooked, walked around the property and watched a few movies. We truly enjoyed our stay. We would like to return again to see any new projects.

This was the perfect little place for me. I had to stay a week while my mother was recovering in St Vincent. There are restaurants of all types close by. There are grocery stores close by, and for those that don't know, Tops is an expensive grocery store. Wegmans on Peach is so much better. As for the shower that someone previously mentioned, turn the hot most or all the way and the cold about an 1/8 of a turn and you'll be good to go. Great little place. Thanks!

Great location! The apartment was very clean and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable... with the room darkening curtains, we could have slept all day! Very relaxing! We would definitely stay here again!

Jeff’s place was pretty clean and comfortable. We were there on a work trip. Unfortunately one of our work trucks left marks on his lawn we had gotten stuck due to snow and that’s understandable. Had we seen it we would have fixed back the gravel but there was snow there. A stool was shaky and the stove vent was slightly twisted. I’m not sure how it led to us having to pay for those items we’re sure we didn’t do but we do apologize. We sent a sum that we believed would suffice for the cost instead of what he requested . We did enjoy our stay. Thank you for your kindness.

This was our first time visiting Edinboro Lake Resort and it definitely will not be our last! We enjoyed every second of our stay. The free kayaks/canoes to use whenever we want, outdoor patio access, and a short walk to Sunset Grill was so awesome. We were so happy to bring our dog and went on frequent walks around the property and met all the other friendly neighbors staying there. The cabin was so cute and equipped with what we needed for our short stay.

We couldn’t have planned a better weekend getaway. The grounds were beautiful. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Leigh and Matt are friendly and accommodating hosts who wanted us to have the best experience they could offer and they met every expectation we could have imagined. We will be recommending Bison Trace to all of our friends!! Thank you for a great weekend!!

We loved every minute of our stay and would love to go back again. Prior to packing, I had asked about certain items at the house & the responses were clear and helpful for me. There was plenty of wood for the fire, along with firestarter sticks for convenience. There was also plenty of filtered water at the house. We always bring our own filtered water for trips, so that is good to know for the next time we stay with bringing one less thing. Our daughter enjoyed seeing the exotic animals as the property borders a little farm which features kangaroo, emu, cows, a zebra and more. We stopped by the farm on Sunday after we checked out and the owner of the farm was more than happy to show us around. If you do have small children, just bring a few baby gates as I wasn't able to get the dog gate at the house to properly work. If you are sensitive to fragrances like me, just bring your own linens or towels (including dish towels ) as there is a strong fragrance on them.

We enjoyed our weekend stay and would stay again. Jeff was a great, responsive host. The home was as described, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We appreciated the quiet surroundings. We had no trouble with access, but 4WD will be necessary for access in inclement weather,

Nice cabin. Can see the lake.. had A little trouble getting in and out with all the snow , in my van.. And could’ve used a light over the dining table to do some paperwork, they have several lights everywhere else which is nice except there, or anywhere else to do paperwork, a desk or etc. I love all the wood. The furniture was nice. Thanks.

We booked a last minute mini vacation for my husband and I, our 9 year old daughter and 18 month baby boy. At the last minute our 13 year old niece needed a ride to the same area to visit her grandma so she tagged along as well. But once we were to this great little cabin we find out her grandmother broke her hand and wasn’t up for the company so our niece stayed with us for the 4 days we were there. The cabin was great! It had just enough room for the 5 of us. The cabin was baby proof as we definitely needed for our lil man. It was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Lynn and Mac were right down the road if we needed anything and they made suggestions for things to do with the kids. It was so peaceful with the fire place. We were able to have drinks in the evening and relax and during the day were close enough to Erie and the beaches that the kids were never bored. I highly recommend this home away from home and can’t wait to visit again! Loved it!😍

Fabulous stay in Gray Birch! They really thought of everything! We didn't need many of the amenities during our short stay, but the kitchen was very well-provisioned for eating-in and all the spaces had thoughtful touches. I loved the cozy lantern lights in the bedroom and the lantern and headlamps by the door, and there was even a spot to hang the lantern by the picnic table and fire pit. I wondered if it might be a little loud with other "campers" nearby, but it was very quiet during our stay. My favorite part was sitting on the screened in porch in the morning and evening, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The ceiling fan on the porch was just perfect on a humid night. Sadly, we didn't have time to make a fire during our short stay, but the picnic table, grill, fire pit and Adirondack chairs looked great. Several of the cabins have the fire pit on the side of the cabin, but I Iiked that Gray Birch's was in the front (if you park at the back).

My friend & I wanted to do something special for the eclipse. We found this cute little campsite online thinking it would just be a place to stay the night before, but it highly exceeded our expectations. We loved the little camp ground, our pristine adorable cabin, and our overall stay! The layout of your entire campsite is well thought out for maximum enjoyment, comfort, and fun! We loved the rec center and got to use the fire pit. They made everything so easy, even providing the wood! Most importantly, while MANY establishments on the path of totality were price gouging, we appreciated the reasonably priced accommodations and the fact that we could rent for just one night. Our stay was short lived since we got up early as we were on a mission to #DriveToTheSun (which we found in Dayton OH!), BUT we will definitely be back to take advantage of the screened in porch on the cabin, live music in the pavilion, & cute little coffee shop! 10/10 experience. Thanks again!
