La maison de Graciela est très sympa et très bien décorée. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce lieu authentique. Un plus avec la piscine très appréciable quand la chaleur est au rdv. Lieu à recommander même si l’environnement n’est pas celui que l’on peut attendre dans une île des Cyclades. Nous pourrions facilement revenir chez Graciela ! Et merci pour l’accueil.

We had a wonderfull time at Anna's and Giorgios quiet place on the edge of the village of Azolimnos. There is the the possibility of swimming almost on the doorstep near a small harbor. The most fantastic thing was the spectacular sunrises over the sea right in front of the panoramic windows and the spacious terrace. In one room you could even watch the spectacle from the bed. If you didn't want to, you could have darkened the room with electric night blinds. There is a mini market within easy walking distance. In the other direction we went on short walks along the coastline with turquoise-colored bays and the small beach "Santorini". Buses stop opposite the mini market, which travel through the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. We could easily do without renting a car. The landlords live on the ground floor and were extraordinarily helpful and friendly.

Syros is special, but Dimitri and his wife, Iro, are even more so! From the moment Dimitri picked us up at the port and drove us to their place, we felt completely looked after, safe, and truly cared for. The house is GORGEOUS- photos don’t do it justice. Within hours, I felt as though I was at home, not just on vacation. You are literally on the water, with a view from the top/main floor from every bedroom, and direct access from the lower level. I have never felt so sad having to leave in all my travels and stays. I will definitely be back! Thank you Dimitri and Iro!

We had an amazing stay! Antonis picked us up from the ferry and gave some recommendations for the area. The apartment is super cute and the area perfect. You have a supermarket in walking distance and nice coffee shops, restaurants. This was the perfect place for some days on the island to explore (by car). They were super flexible with check in and check out times, which was amazing due to ferry times. We would always come back to this place. Thank you!

A most beautiful house. Extraordinary location steps from the beautiful sea, a gorgeous church, a lovely local taverna and a cafe. The garden and balconies offer incredible serenity and peace and beauty at every turn. The outdoor kitchen is wonderful and we cooked outside at night and enjoyed the warm nights and beautiful stars. Our family of two adults, two kids (10 and 13 year olds) will dream about this place for the years to come. Thankyou so much. Emily and family

We had such a fantastic stay at the Veranda House. Vasiliki, Dimitris and Alexandra were extraordinary hosts. They greeted us at the port to drive us to the house with such a warm welcome. They ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay, and provided us with valuable recommendations for restaurants and beaches in Syros. We were so surprised and impressed with the amazing homemade food that they provided us, which was a comfort after a long travel day. We enjoyed all of the amenities in the Veranda House. The garden area with the hot tub was a beautiful and relaxing environment where we enjoyed spending time together as a family. The house itself was extremely clean and well-equipped with everything we possibly could have needed. We would love the opportunity to stay at the Veranda House again. It was truly the most memorable and special Airbnb experience we have ever had. We would highly recommend the Veranda House while visiting Syros.

As other guest have mentioned, photos don't do this place justice. The place is SO cool, quirky.. interseting, everything! We were 6 people with 1 baby and it was plenty of space for us - one shared bathroom and one en suite. The cielings are so high, the art work is bonkers and so fun. GREAT! location for a morning swim in (6 min walk, tops!) and same distance to town. Tall narrow stairs maybe tricky for someone with limited walking abilities but otherwise its a perfect house! The rooftop views and sweet little terrace (x2) are so special. 1000% reccomend.

We stayed at Antonio’s’ for 8 nights; I think it wasn’t until we left that we fully appreciated what a privilege it had been to stay there. Luxury accommodation it is not, but instead there is peace and privacy with a beautiful outlook & the sound of the sea. We only left the accommodation a few times, once to get shopping from the town (it’s a bus ride away), & a few times to walk to a sandy beach 10 minutes down the road. The rest of our stay we were content to use the pebbly cove by the house & to sit in the garden and read, accompanied by four entertaining young cats. There is a taverna across the road which serves excellent food but unfortunately no shop in the area (closed for the season). Antonis was a great host, he collected us from the port & took us to a supermarket for supplies. He lives behind the property so was on hand if needed, but not intrusive. The house itself is spacious with quiet air con & all the essentials for keeping clean (hot water) & basic self-catering.

The house is located in a beautiful peaceful spot with the most amazing views. We spent countless hours on the terrace, surrounded by bougainvilleas and the views of the Aegean Sea. We swam in the secluded cove which is walking distance from the house. Giorgos is a very responsive host and answered any queries we had during our stay. The design of the house, being split into the main house and two annexes, suited our needs as we traveled with our adult children. Hermoupolis, the capital of the island, is 25 minutes away by car. It has not been spoiled by tourism and retains an old fashioned grandeur with its neoclassical architecture. We will definitely visit again.

Lors de notre séjour dans la maison de Takis, nous avons été absolument enchantés par l'accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse exceptionnelle de notre hôte. Dès notre arrivée, Takis s'est assuré que tout soit parfait pour nous, ce qui a rendu notre expérience d'autant plus agréable. La maison elle-même est un véritable bijou : spacieuse, magnifiquement décorée et d'un confort inégalé. Chaque pièce est pensée pour offrir à la fois détente et convivialité, rendant notre séjour des plus reposants. Mais ce qui nous a le plus marqué, c'est la terrasse, un véritable havre de paix avec une vue imprenable. Les photos ne rendent absolument pas justice à la réalité : la beauté des lieux est tout simplement époustouflante. Nous ne pouvons que recommander vivement cette maison, qui a largement dépassé nos attentes.

Anna est une hôte parfaite. Ses petites attentions sont des plus surprenantes et agréables. Trouver des fruits frais cueillis sur la table de la terrasse au petit déjeuner. Cueillir des fruits frais dans son jardin organique comme si nous etions chez nous est un vrai plaisir. Elle est très disponible et on se sent comme à la maison. Mes enfants ne souhaitaient plus partir. Chiens et chats ont fait quelques apparitions bien plaisantes. Nous sommes des amoureux des animaux et cette petite touche en plus fut un réel plaisir. Le domaine est magnifique, tout comme l île. Anna s occupe de tout ( du cendrier de plage au plan de l île et les bons coins à visiter). N hésitez pas. Moi je recommencerai sans aucun doute.

Traditional home away from home, great host and many amenities, local sweets and cookies. Dont even attempt to walk to venue with luggage...too many stairs! Would highly recommend

Abbiamo passato 10 giorni meravigliosi in 8 amici in questa splendida villa a Syros. La villa e' composta da nuclei abitativi indipendenti con una meravigliosa piscina e molteplici terrazze e tavoli disseminati nel bel giardino. La mattina si puo' nuotare, fare yoga, leggere un libro, fare colazione ognuno con i suoi tempi e spazi. La sera il grande tavolo ombreggiato permette l'organizzazione di indimenticabili cene all'aperto. Ognuno ha potuto vivere la villa e la vacanza al meglio. Ma sopratutto grazie ai nostri host Georgea e Bernard, sempre disponibili e pieni di super consigli ! Torneremo presto cari Georges e Bernard: Syros e la vostra splendida villa ci hanno permesso di trascorrere una vacanza indimenticabile!

We were attracted by the old charm of this beautiful house and it's mature gardens when we found the listing but nothing had prepared us for the deeply moving experience of inhabiting this work of art. It was a feast for the senses and we hardly wanted to leave the property to explore the island durring our 10 day stay. It is an artists' house best enjoyed by other artists and all those who cannot live without beauty and can see past the odd inconvenience of a preloved space.

Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux dans cette belle maison typique, confortable, grande avec plein d'espaces extérieur et très bien conçue pour plusieurs familles. La vue est incroyable de partout, très belle piscine dans un environnement beau et calme tout en étant à seulement 10mn de la jolie station Kivi avec plages et restaurants, supermarché. Voiture indispensable Dimitri sur place est plein de bons conseils et très réactif en cas de besoin. En espérant revenir très vite à Syros et à Dani

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

The home and grounds were just as appeared in photos. A modern home built in classical style and old world quality sitting upon immaculate grounds. Korina, the owner stays on the lower level and is always available to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and to make sure everything is in order with the home. Our stay was a much needed treat in luxury, peace and tranquility.

Κλείσαμε το στούντιο τελευταία στιγμή, μιας και αποφασίσαμε αυθόρμητα να επισκεφθούμε τη Σύρο. Δεν θα μπορούσαμε να είμαστε πιο τυχεροί! Το στούντιο βρίσκεται σε μια πολύ ήσυχη περιοχή σε απόσταση 12 λεπτών με αυτοκίνητο από την Ερμούπολη και διαθέτει τα πάντα. Μαζί μας είχαμε το γιο μας που είναι μόλις 4,5 μηνών και δεν μας έλειψε τίποτα. Ο Γιώργος μας υποδέχτηκε με χαμόγελο και ήταν πάντα διαθέσιμος, όποτε τον χρειαστήκαμε. Μάλιστα μας έδωσε κ ένα παιδικό κρεβατάκι, το οποίο είχε τοποθετήσει στο στούντιο, πριν την άφιξή μας. Αν και δεν υπάρχει θάλασσα σε απόσταση που μπορεί να διανύσει κάνεις με τα πόδια, βρήκαμε δροσιά στην υπέροχη πισίνα του συγκροτήματος. Συνιστώ το κατάλυμα ανεπιφύλακτα. Ευχαριστούμε Γιώργο για όλα!

We had such a relaxing experience staying at Bernard & George’s place. It’s extremely peaceful and surrounded by nature and their beautiful garden. The pool and the view is wonderful. The room is colorful and comfortable. As someone else commented, it’s better than the photos. Although there were other guests, it was easy to have privacy. Bernard and George were very hospitable and brought us some homemade jam and fruits, but also gave us space. They were also friendly to our dog Nina, who lived her best life in their garden! She definitely wanted to stay forever. The location is a short drive to Ermoupoli and some nice beaches, but honestly you won’t want to leave.

We stayed at Bernard and George’s place for five days in August, and we absolutely loved it! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and quiet. The shared outdoor kitchen worked perfectly, and the communal spaces were overall fantastic. Despite the shared pool and kitchen, there was plenty of privacy. The place is even better in real life than in the pictures! Bernard and George were brilliant hosts—so generous and full of great recommendations for the area. We definitely recommend it! Thank you!
