definitely recommend! 3 bedrooms on the second floor and 2.5 bathrooms in a gated condo with private garage parking. 15 mins to the airport (so you can hear the planes flying over), 30 mins to downtown san jose. house is fully equipped with everything you need. Marco also had great restaurant recommendations. pleasant experience! thank you!

We already stayed in the past and in June we are going back. The place is very nice. The cabins are cozy and well equiped. The place is very relaxing and peacefull. When you enter the property there are a bunch of sweet dogs welcoming you. The climate is beautifil. During the day warm and the nights chilly. There is a small heater in the cabin. Our favorite spot is the balcony. In the area there are some nice restaurants (recomendation is casa Josefina) and some small grocery shops.

I’ll start with what you need to know. Yes, the airBNB is on private 4 acre lot. Yes the room was as clean and well designed as the pictures depicted. Yes there is lots of parking on the property. Yes the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, utensils, plates, cups and extras like sugar, cooking oil and coffee. Yes there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Yes this property is in mountains, but Uber can take you anywhere for cheap. My family and I were lucky enough to book this place for almost 6months. Erika was very attentive and kind to us our entire stay. Sure this is her business, but every exchange felt genuine. My boys absolutely loved being here with so much room to play and run around. Weekly, Ilse and KB switched our linens, gived us fresh towels, cleaned the entire bathroom and swept our floors. Mr. Orlando and Guillermo worked swiftly to address all grounds related issues. This team of four worked really well together to ensure our comfort. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Me encantó la estadía de Leonardo, fuimos varios amigos a hacer una fiesta y el lugar es bastante privado entonces pudimos tener música y hacer juegos, claro con la prudencia de no tener volumen alto durante la noche; el paisaje es precioso y por la mañana se pueden ver aves en los árboles del frente, yo logré ver un tucán y un halcón. También está muy bien equipado, hay todo lo que uno puede necesitar en la cocina; las camas son super cómodas y hay buen espacio para acomodar grupos grandes.

Pasamos unos días maravillosos en el apartamento de Marco. Desde que llegamos, supimos que habíamos elegido el lugar perfecto. Todo estaba impecable, súper limpio y bien cuidado, algo que valoro muchísimo cuando viajo. El proceso de check in fue muy fácil y el lugar ofrece mucha seguridad y tranquilidad. El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario para estar cómodo. La cama era súper cómoda, la cocina estaba totalmente equipada y el Wi-Fi funcionaba de maravilla, lo cual fue un gran plus. El anfitrión fue un encanto, siempre pendiente y dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa. En resumen, disfrutamos muchísimo nuestro tiempo aquí.Nos sentimos como en casa, y si alguna vez regresamos, no dudaríamos en alojarnos aquí de nuevo. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

This place is super luxurious and there is so much to do in the villa itself. Views are amazing from any balcony and so many dining spots across the villa. Coming to the host he is amazing and very responsive to any queries you have and he shared videos on how to use a fireplace to different automations in the house which were super helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the luxurious stay.

This is the best deal you can get. We had a group of 9 stay here and was very spacious. For the price you pay you get two trails on the property one leading to a waterfall. There are deer that you can go pet on the property and have a gate guard the whole time so you’re protected. Every single room has a view of the city which is tremendous sight to see. On top of that Chris, the grounds keeper, was very polite. He worked well with our check in considering we arrived at 3am. He knows the area well and has suggestions and always available to help with anything to need. If you plan to be around the San Jose are, this property/ AirBnB is a no brainer.

This villa was absolutely breathtaking and everything my family and I needed to unwind, refresh and relax after the new year! We loved every single aspect of the house from the comfortable bedding, the well stocked kitchen, the relaxing jacuzzi with the amazing views, private balconies for us to unwind privately and let me not even get started on the outdoor showers. If you've never taken one - book this house NOW! It is unmatched. We traveled to CR with my parents, husband and 2 year old and everyone lived their best lives. Anne-Caroline was great with her communication leading up to the trip. Oscar, the in country host was amazing for knowing exactly where to take us to eat, see animals, which beaches to visit and more. He drove us around safely and shared a ton of local knowledge with us. We will absolutely be returning to this villa in the near future and cannot wait! Thank you Anne-Caroline and Oscar for the wonderful hospitality.

The Best!! We stayed here as a family of 10, ages almost 2 to 70 years. First of all, the place is very spacious and clean, has comfortable beds, large rooms and a huge kitchen. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed morning coffee there. Eduardo was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. In addition, the live in housekeeper is super friendly! Our family loved our time there. Again, the Best!!

This is a lovely historic villa on a large, gated acreage. There is clearly an interesting history to this property, and we encouraged the owners to share it with their guests. It is very private and in an upscale part of San Jose with access to good restaurants. Because the home is over 100 years old, it feels vintage on the inside, but for us that was a good thing. We just stayed there one night before departing for the US the next day. It is very spacious, and the pool area is an impressive place to relax. We did have an issue with hot water, but the maintenance staff fixed it within an acceptable time and they were flexible with checkout to ensure we had time for hot showers. I believe just two of the rooms had room-air conditioners. The others had fans, so it could get warm at night depending on the weather, though we were comfortable. It can be a little difficult to find, so just be sure to read the instructions provided by the host. I definitely recommend this unique property.
