Just like many of the reviews listed this place was amazing! Spacious, very clean, and responsive host. As all others have said Jefferson and his mother were amazing. Great food and great responses from Jefferson. Everything we needed was right there. We like to keep our places clean but they made the extra effort to make sure we had everything we needed! 15 minute drive from the house to the town but that was understood. If you want privacy and solitude there is no better place we did one day in Manuel Antonio and still don’t understand why more people don’t stay in Playa Palo Seco. Amazing location with the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. Can’t say enough about this Airbnb. Nothing negative at all. Tip: Respect the ocean. The tides are scary of course but you need to do your research and keep your little ones close!

Beautiful space, lots of privacy but within walking distance to a few shops and restaurants. We saw a sloth, monkeys, and a bunch of other animals right from the property but my son loved watching the leaf cutter ants the best. The pool was great to relax in every afternoon and it's very centrally located. The main road is very narrow and has A LOT of traffic so you probably won't want to venture too far on foot with young kids but adults won't have a problem getting to restaurants a little further away. The host responds very quickly to questions and has discounts to different activities so you should check with him before booking anything on your own. Great stay!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Manuel Antonio thanks to Raquel and Sam! The Monkey House was everything we could have hoped for and more. We saw more animals at the house than we did our entire time in Costa Rica. The location is super convenient to all Manuel Antonio restaurants, beaches and activities. The house was completely spotless and had everything we could need. The local recommendations Sam provided were stellar and we look forward to many more trips back to The Monkey House. Pura Vida!

Our 7-night stay could not have gone any better. The pictures don't do it justice. It's actually more beautiful than pictured with a stunning pool area, perfect layout of the bedrooms, and well stocked with everything we could need. Antonio and Anna were helpful and efficient. Housekeeping throughout our stay was a bonus! Thank you for sharing your home.

The location was very peaceful and every morning we had coffee and watched the monkeys jumping around from tree to tree and Macaw parrots landing in the trees right in front of the balcony. Susan, our concierge was really helpful in setting up our transportation to and from the airport, setting up tours and anything else we needed. Friendly housekeeper came every day and we had a Chef come in twice and the food was fabulous! We decided to rent a car for the week and felt that was a necessity and very convenient. The location really isn’t walkable so the car was nice, though taxis are also available. Great trip and I highly recommend this location!

Absolutely spectacular ! truly a gem in the heart of Manuel Antonio. Everything was perfect !

Our stay was nothing short of magical. Our group of 10 adults (5 couples) were all comfortable (possible exception was the bunk beds for one couple 😂) in the space with no more than 4 people sharing any one bathroom. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels. This might not be the best location if your hope is to go on a lot of adventures each day - maybe you could find something slightly more centrally located. But our group wanted to make no further decisions than whether we spend the day at the beach or the pool, so this place was perfection. We did visit Manuel Antonio and did zip lining too. The water in the pool and the beach was warm and comfortable to swim in. The waves were a little intense and the riptide could be as well but as long as we avoided the rocks, we loved swimming in the ocean. I cannot speak highly enough about how helpful Lorenzo (local property manager) was both before & during our time. The rental would not be the same without him…hire him to cook for you once too

It's a lovely home with absolutely everything you'll need inside, The pool was nice as was the outside shower with really hot water. The washer worked. The area is meh beside the natural beauty around of course. Neighbors are all around but super cool and everyone minds their own business and are very respectful and nice as most costa ricans. You will definitely need a car to go explore Quepos and Manuel Antonio where all the good restaurants and businesses are not to mention all the amazing beaches & parks. All these are about 20 minutes away as are also most supermarkets. We slept right thru the night, no problems with any noise. Overall we had an amazing 2 week vacation in Costa Costa and this was our 2nd Airbnb and without a doubt our favorite out of the two. The only drawback I would say is the power outages in the area but that isn't in anyone's control besides the electric company and they only last about 30mnts to an hour. Fyi - if that happens the gate will not work.

This was a beautiful condo on the ground floor. We sat on patio every morning watching the waves hit the beach. There were warning signs of rip tides at every beach we visited. I more timid kept hip deep but there were quite a few people out further. There were several pools available to us. We kept close to our Condo. It was the nicest place we stayed and most expensive. Not sorry in the least I rented it. We did a short hike to a waterfall near by and relaxed. Very chill and guarded too!

This location strikes a perfect balance between being close to the highlights, but being removed enough that you have some peace and quiet. Wildlife comes right up to your doorstep! In our time there we saw howler monkeys, the white-faced monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and bull frogs, among others, just by eating outside or hanging out by the pool. The proximity to the bus stops makes it a brease to go into town or towards Manuel Antonio. A pleasant surprise was how well-equipped the kitchen is. There was even a rice cooker!

Beautiful condo nestled in Manuel Antonio. It was a 15 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Costa Rica. We had lots of amazing restaurants that were easy to walk too. Our host was so friendly and conversed with us daily to see how we were doing and how our trip was going. I will definitely go back.

je recommande ce beau logement, très bien situé, près d une plage très longue et belle. La climatisation efficace, des chaises de plage, des serviettes de plages, une glacière, un parasol, tout est la pour profiter au maximum de cette magnifique plage! Idéal pour 4 personnes.

The Shana is a great resort and Kent’s place was wonderful. Everything was so clean. The view is amazing from the balcony. We loved to sit and relax in the rocking chairs and watch the mischievous capuchin monkeys get into everything at the resort. So much space in this condo. It was perfect for our family of five. Will definitely come back.

Sams apartment is well and luxury equipped. We enjoyed to sit on the terrace and it was just a few steps to go to be in the pool area. Supermarkets and restaurants reachable within 3 to 4 minutes walk. We enjoyed our time in del Pacifico

Un superbe séjour! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la tranquilité et la beauté de l'endroit, la plage est à distance de marche et est absolument magnifique. De belles vagues pour le surf! Petit dépanneur au coin de la rue et superette pas très loin. Hubert est un excellent hôte, nous avons été très bien répondu tout au long de notre séjour et ce fut une joie de demeurer dans cet appartement. Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons assurément!
