We had a great stay at the Oasis. It was very private and comfortable. The back yard was lush and inviting. There were all the comforts of home on tropical island. We had a couple of rare local issues that were efficiently and professionally dealt with by Ray and his terrific team. Would definitely again!

Maria's house was perfect for us. It is in a very quiet neighborhood (except for the roosters, but it's like that all over the island). I would, however, recommend renting a vehicle, because it's not in walking distance to anything other than a convenience store. But if you do get a car, it only takes about 8 minutes to drive to the ferry terminal, and about 10 minutes to get to Esperanza on the south side of the island. What I really liked about the house is that it was that it not only has solar panels, but it also has a whole-house battery backup system. It made me feel better about being on vacation in a net zero energy use home. My wife and I went with 5 girls, so the pool was a nice addition. Thanks, Maria!

Susan's home was perfect for me - an 83 year old grandmother - and my family of 5, including a toddler, 11 year old and teenager. The home was beautiful inside and outside, and most welcoming. My daughter and son-in-law, both Modern architects, greatly appreciated the beautifully designed house. The modern and thoughtful materials were durable and beautiful at the same time. The kids, in particular, loved the pool, where we all spent hours swimming, enjoying the view of the surroundings and the Atlantic Ocean. We loved the outdoor all-weather living space with 360 degree views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean, grill and dining table, comfortable chairs for sunset/sunrise watching. The home interior was lovely and well laid-out, with bedrooms off a hall, allowing privacy, and everything needed for living and cooking, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy living room area and excellent bathrooms. The house was on a hill top and felt connected to the community. Hope to return soon!

An amazing stay for our 5th year anniversary! Bill and Michele were fabulous! Michele met us at the home and immediately made us feel like we were home! The home was immaculate and pristine. Never seen an Airbnb so spotless! Vieques has a ton of creepy crawlers, none here! No bugs!! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The king bed was sooo comfortable! Oh! Don’t let me forget… the toilet paper was probably 3ply!!! Amazing!! Lol!!We felt safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will be back for our 10th!! Thank you Bill & Michele!!!

This house is even more beautiful than it looks. Feels like a tropical cottage out of Architectural Digest. Kitchen is beautiful and the backyard/pool area is amazing. Loved having snorkel gear and enjoying all the bird life and plans around the house. Hosts were awesome — so helpful with great reccos. We had fresh passion fruit from the vine by the pool! Would absolutely stay again.

Lili’s spot is amazing! Walking distance to Esperanza for restaurants and an oasis of beauty in the small town. We loved it! The pool was delightful and so private; we loved sitting outside and listening to the frogs ; the kids loved the hammock. It was one of our Airbnb favorites!

The host of the most breathtaking place we’ve ever stayed. As Puerto Ricans living in the diaspora, this home made us feel deeply connected to our roots and our island. Waking up to the lush green hills, the gentle Caribbean breeze, and the endless ocean views was simply magical. Every corner of the house is thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail that shows true care—from the colorful floor tiles at the entrance, to the perfectly placed chairs inviting you to sit, pause, and breathe in the beauty of Puerto Rico. This was arguably one of the best Airbnb’s my family and I have ever stayed at. The manager, Ron, greeted us upon our arrival and was a wonderful resource during our time on the island! The home itself is SO cool. The outdoor showers were amazing, as was the kitchen area equipped with everything you could possibly need! Everything from the coffee machine, to the beach gear, to the sound system, etc. were top quality! I’ve already shared the link for this listing with several of my friends looking for a family-friendly vacation spot! Thanks for making our trip a memorable one!

House + views were great. Loved the outdoor showers. The hill is steep getting up to the house. You must rent a Jeep or vehicle. The golf carts will not be user friendly for the drive up or down. We loved our stay here! Outdoor spaces are great hangouts.

Very comfortable space with a great kitchen, comfy living room and porch. Loved having beach gear available. Was a little complicated at check in but worth it, the roosters were very loud the first night but host did provide us with ear plugs for following nights.

Our stay at Sean’s hilltop hacienda in Vieques was amazing! From the start, Sean went above and beyond—meeting us at the ferry, helping us secure a last-minute car rental, assisting with luggage, and sharing invaluable tips on local culture, driving, and the best beaches for snorkeling with sea turtles. The home had everything we needed and was just steps from Playa Bastimento, which we had almost entirely to ourselves. Sean checked in regularly to ensure we were comfortable and even allowed a late checkout, making our departure much smoother. If you’re looking for a thoughtful host and a peaceful, beautiful stay in Vieques, this is the perfect spot. A truly unforgettable few days in paradise! Highly recommend!

Amazing home. Super clean and a great home base for exploring the island. Beds were extremely comfortable. Decor was well done. Wi-Fi worked well. We took full advantage of the outdoor chairs every evening. This is not a knock on the house as much as an FYI: absolutely get a car or golf carts to get around. It is slightly off the beaten path, so tough for cabs to find the house. That said, the GPS coordinates were dead on. That’s just tough to give to a cab driver. Downtown was about 10 minutes by golf carts. We’d certainly look to book here again if we came back to Vieques.

We had such a wonderful stay at Coconut Cay! The house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Photos are accurate, and check-in was easy. The pool/back patio area was our favorite place to hang out--how wonderful it was to see and hear the ocean all the time! We appreciated the cool and quiet A/C in the bedrooms, and loved the ocean breezes that flowed through the rest of the house. As others have mentioned, some of the fixtures show evidence of exposure to the salt, but hey, what do you expect from a house that's right on the beach? We loved our stay on Vieques at Coconut Cay, and wouldn't hesitate to come back!

This place is a dream - so close to everything yet a private oasis. More space than you can believe, it's so comfortable with 5 separate bedrooms. A perfect place to share with friends, which we did. Checking in a breeze, excellent communication as soon as we booked. The pool is the focal point when you arrive, and it's wonderful. Lots of ideas were provided from Vieques Insider magazine. Sunbay beach, just minutes away, was our favorite. The ponies, chickens and kitties all added to the charm. Highly recommend!

My family of 4 enjoyed our 2 night stay at Seventh Wave. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I wish we had stayed longer so that we could have made better use of the kitchen. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well and the beach towels. You can easily walk to Esperanza’s little strip of restaurants and a small grocery store. Just FYI: the main living area can be warm but our teenage son slept on the sleeper sofa with no issues. Just be aware, the roosters start up in the middle of the night and it nearly killed me. I wore my headphones the second night and slept much better. The hosts are very friendly and very accommodating, allowing us to check in a little early and check out a little late. They also gave us great suggestions on tour guides and tips like book your rental car early.

Loved everything about this Airbnb. It was right near the ferry yet secluded and tucked away. It has a nice beach view. Graciela was also responsive and friendly. Description of amenities were accurate. The jacuzzi was a nice touch. Definitely recommend this Airbnb when visiting Vieques.

The space was fantastic. Although we did not use the casita, it would be perfect for two small groups. The roosters were loud in the morning but the sound machines and ear plugs would address this. We enjoyed their noises as it added to the ambiance of the island. The location living amongst the local population was a welcome retreat from the touristy part of Esperanza.

Bodde en uke i leiligheten som ligger i ett stille og rolig område med kjempehyggelige naboer. Gangavstand (ca 1,5 km) til sentrum. Vi hadde ikke leiebil, men brukte taxi når vi skulle på utflukter til andre siden av øya. Dette er ikke noe dyrere enn om en skulle leie bil. Dessuten så er taxisjåførene på øya hyggelige og veldig serviceorienterte, så du får masse informasjon om øya og steder en bør besøke. Mye av denne informasjonen hadde du ikke fått om du hadde kjørt rundt på egen hånd i leiebil. Leiligheten er godt utstyrt for strandliv og utflukter. Hvis jeg skulle reist tilbake til Vieques en gang i fremtiden, ville jeg absolutt prøvd å leie leiligheten til Janiela igjen. Kan virkelig anbefales.

We were ecstatically happy at Casa Amarillo! The house and property are very peaceful and we felt immediately at home there. It sits on a hilltop which gives the porch stunning views. As others have mentioned, the sweet dogs from the neighboring houses come by to greet you when you return from being out — we just feel in love with Rascal and Italia! We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful or welcoming presence from David. He manages the property, lives next door, and made our stay a 10/10. Thank you, David!

Adrienne was super helpful and responsive. Thank you! The house was also exactly as described. It was frankly a little larger than we expected, with a LARGE backyard and ample places to sit for morning coffee or evening cocktails. It was EXCELLENT, and I would absolutely use this place again. After visiting Vieques, here are a few things we learned from our stay that may be helpful: 1. Things close down earlier than you think. Bring groceries / have a plan for your first night / morning meals. 2. Transport on the island. Golf cart is fine, UTV is better. Taxis are good, but not always available. There is no Uber on the island. 3. Ferry. Get your tickets EARLY. They sell out. 4. Transport on the main island to and from the Ferry terminal. Uber from San Juan to ferry is easy. Uber FROM ferry TO San Juan is not easy. There are many taxi companies listed at the ferry terminal. Call one of them and schedule a ride in advance.

Perfect paradise in Destino! From pool views, evening stargazing, short drives to pristine beaches… we could not have asked for a better week stay!! Situated between San Isabel and Esperanza, bumpy backroads made for fantastic adventures. Peacocks on the rooftop in the morning, lizards in the evening, and horses making their way to the gate to say hello :) we hope to be back soon and Villa Destino is the place to be!! 10 stars all around!!!

This is a gorgeous home with truly the 270 degree view of the island and sea that is described. We heard the ocean as a luscious background constantly even though it was below us. The pool is a perfect temperature and we all did a lot of swimming. Derek and Yana provide a lot of beach and snorkeling gear and good resource books. Every bedroom has a bathroom and we all had privacy.

The unit was just as described. Very close to everything but without the crowds or parking situation of being downtown. Easy to get to our favorite beaches. Suggestions on where to eat were very good. We really liked the open floor plan with plenty of room and our private patio. We would stay again if we were to visit Culebra.

An absolutely beautiful location. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the panoramic views. The sliding glass doors made it an immersive experience. The host was helpful and communicated promptly. The house is centrally located in the city. The rooms are very minimalist and almost hotel like. An interesting locks system for each door. I was annoyed as we left something at the property and they threw it away. For the price we paid for staying there you would think they could mail it back to us. Also there are many security cameras on the property. Pointed at the pool and common areas. We thought that was a little intrusive. Besides that we enjoyed the place.
