Adoramos a nossa estadia! A casa é lindíssima e acolhedora. Apenas um pouco fria, mas com aquecedores em todas as divisões e lareira para nos mantermos quentes no inverno. Os hostes super simpáticos e amigáveis, sentimos-nos em casa! A vila é muito acolhedora e o perfeito ponto de partida para uma escapadinha à descoberta dos tesouros do alto Alentejo! ❤️

Gostávamos muito de ficar na casa do Sr. Antonio. O espaço era agradável, a piscina era óptima e aproveitamos para descansar nas camas de rede no meio da natureza e do silêncio. Um sítio a que queremos voltar com certeza.

A beautiful home in Grândola, Andre’s place was the perfect base for exploring the area. We loved the pool!

Es un alojamiento de carácter rural, limpio, ordenado y al que no le falta de nada. Tiene mejor aprovechamiento en verano por las posibilidades que dan utilizar la piscina. En épocas frías al estar en el interior más tiempo se echa de menos un sofá más cómodo, pero aún así por el precio que tiene es recomendable. En la casa y exterior reina el silencio, fundamental cuando se elige un alojamiento lejos de núcleos urbanos. La comunicación con Carlos prácticamente no fue necesaria y total discreción.

Estive 3 dias no alojamento e fiquei completamente encantada, limpo, aconchegante, cuidadosamente decorado, deixado com todos os básicos (temperos para comida, louça suficiente, papel higiénico, rolo de cozinha, detergente da louça, etc) senti me em casa. O check in foi super fácil sem quaisquer problemas. Redondezas extremamente calmas ideal para quem quer ir descansar. Adorei o alojamento, fui recebida com cortesia e muito mimo. A repetir sem dúvida.

This is one of the most unique and beautiful places I have stayed. The outdoor space includes a balcony, a patio, and a garden, all with spectacular views. The indoor space is a rambling stone house including dining room with a fireplace and arched ceiling and a bedroom with a cozy study down a half-flight of stairs. The kitchen has plenty of room and equipment for cooking meals, but there are also several very good restaurants close by. The host was wonderful about checking in to make sure things are OK. The only thing I would say is that we were there during an unusually cold spell and although the heater kept the bedroom cozy, the rest of the house was chilly. Not unexpected for an old stone house, and it didn’t bother us, we just built fires to take the chill off.

We were really happy with this apartment for our family of five. Minimalist but very functional, in a good location, and for a very good price.

Uma casa excelente, num sítio ermo mas cheio de encantos! Uma ribeira perto de casa onde os cães se podem molhar, uma barragem na herdade, pão maravilhoso, pessoas prestáveis e simpáticas que facilitaram tudo…. Um sítio a voltar!! Viajamos com dois cães de grande porte que foram aceites sem vacilar, fomos mimados e passamos uns dias memoráveis. Sobre a casa… linda! Rústica, bem enquadrada, confortável, limpa, bem equipada. Uma verdadeira pérola a descobrir. Obrigada Patricia e restantes colegas…. Bem hajam!

It is perfect. After traveling Portugal for a month this was easily the nicest place we have stayed. Right in town, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, has everything you need to be very comfortable. And the host Susana should receive six stars, she was helpful from arrival to departure. It was a memorable experience. Our only regret is that we couldn’t not stay longer.

Incredible! How often do you get the chance to stay in a historic 500 year old mansion that is literally listed in the guide book! So beautiful, completely renovated and modern yet historic, quiet and comfortable. We ate our breakfast on the rooftop and could see the entire city. A dream.

Um fim de semana maravilhoso, acabámos por ficar mais um dia, e valeu totalmente a pena!! A Reka e o James são pessoas maravilhosas, amáveis e gentis. Vamos repetir, sem dúvida! Recomendo a toda a gente que queira descansar e recarregar baterias. É mesmo uma pérola no nosso querido Alentejo 🫶

We were so lucky to find this place after our other booking fell through. Hugo was extremely responsive and flexible with having us check in last minute and on odd hours. It has a beautiful “Spanish wood cabin” feel that is perfect for families, friend groups, or couples! We loved it, and found it to be a hidden gem. We didn’t know anything about the town of Borba before, and were just stopping by on our road trip, but it ended up being one of our favorite stops thanks to this place and the kindness and flexibility of its hosts!

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

En un entorno espectacular, la casa es aún más bonita que en las fotos. Un gran lugar si buscas tranquilidad y descanso . Perfecta si vas con perros , ya que disfrutarán mucho del exterior y alrededores. Volveremos seguro !!!

The house was very charming. It was a quaint, traditional home, and it was very well maintained and renovated. It was wonderful spending time at the house. Visiting Murao in the fall makes finding a restaurant difficult in town during the week, so if you plan to visit in the off season, just be aware that there may be few options during the week.

Excelente estadia. Limpo, com boas condições. Anfitrião sempre disponível para qualquer problema. Ponte menos positivo: o acesso à casa faz-se por um caminho de «terra batida», o que pode não ser compatível com alguns carros.

We had a fantastic stay at Constança’s place! The house is big and accommodates a large party such as our family (16 people) with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Communication was smooth throughout and Constança was able to provide catering options for the first night where we ordered delicious Alentejo food. The fireplaces made for a cosy setting when the night sets in and the air gets frisky. Finally, the garden provided with a nice outside setting, full of lemon and oranges ready to be consumed and a nice barbecue. 5/5 recommend this place

Iremos voltar sem dúvida alguma! Casa incrível, sítio incrível, dum gosto brutal!! Para família ou amigos, é um sítio que deixa vontade de voltar!! Até para o ano!
