Jean's AirBNB was amazing - it was perfectly equipped and extremely neat and tidy. Jean was a very accommodating host and was very friendly and responsive. We have relatives in Oberson and visit regularly and Jean's AirBNB will be our number #1 pick for accommodation from now on when we go to Oberon. Highly recommended !

Stayed for a week for work with a work colleague. Was extremely clean and fantastic for what we needed it for. Wouldn’t defiantly recommend.

We really enjoyed our weekend staying at Strikes 1. Great facilities, loved sitting on the deck admiring the views. Great location just out of Mudgee, less than 10 mins drive to some of the wineries. Highly recommend.

We had such a beautiful stay at Helen’s place. The surroundings, amenities and attention to detail throughout made it the perfect place to relax and switch off. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil weekend getaway.

We had a lovely relaxing and comfortable time at lillyrose place. Was excalty as the photos. Food was provided for the animlas which my children enjoyed feeding them every morning during our stay. We would definitely book again with lillyrose.

The moment you step inside Kookawood you can see it's a labour of love. Hand built by the host and her husband and then lovingly curated (over what must have been years) both inside and out, to create an otherwordly escape that's equal parts French countryside, retro Australiana, whimsical bohemia and Vogue Living. Everywhere you look there's another beautiful item or another fabulous spot to curl up with a book or sit and soak in the view. It's difficult to pull off such maximalist decor well but this is just exquisite, somehow managing to be both super stylish and incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath, friendly fox, open fireplace and fabulous views from every window were particular highlights. Meanwhile the kitchen is amply stocked and the beds were super comfy. Tens across the board! On a practical note, we have a fairly low-slung sports sedan and we found it handled the driveway absolutely fine, provided you pay attention.

Emilie was wonderful, we booked the farm as a last minute short break to show our overseas family some of our vast countryside. The house is in a beautiful location and is as described. We would definitely visit again if we head back to Oberon.

We were two families which included 4 kids, all under 10 years of age came for the long weekend, driving down from Sydney. I was initially doubtful if the hideout on the hill would be ideal for families with small kids. But it all changed when we drew up the hil...! What a stunning place! A rustic feel but amazingly cozy! Remote but close to everything! Alone but surrounded by a lot of animal life. We could listen to the cows and sheep from the next hill. Sitting outside every night was bliss, gazing at the stars…. spotting Venus, Mars, and Jupiter… The house itself was lovely, the fairy lights in each room made it feel special. The small bridge with a clear stream flowing beneath all adds up to the beauty. Driving past the orchard, the steep ascent on a rocky gravel path was fun. The kids loved the adventure, walking down to the bridge and sprawling the grasslands that surround them. I am sure, we will be back again in winter. Thanks, Janene for being such a wonderful host.
