Can’t recommend this cabin highly enough. The location is totally calm, quiet, and peaceful while being only five minutes away from great shopping and the interstate highway. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous, well-appointed, and in great shape — even better than the photos. And our hosts were very friendly and welcoming — very responsive to our questions and even left a loaf of homemade banana bread on the kitchen counter for us when we arrived. Our family had a wonderful time and will be back!

Allison's place is magical! We stayed for a couple of months just after moving to Minneapolis, during our housing search. Her space is quaint and cozy, exactly like the pictures, and the building is true to its original character in its decor as well. Allison was a fabulous host -- she stocked the apartment well with fruit, coffee, and snacks for our arrival, and in general, we felt we always had what we needed during our stay -- a variety of cookware, cleaning supplies, additional linens, etc. We had no issues at all except for a minor plumbing one, and Allison had it resolved within a couple of hours. We loved the location - it is across the street from a beach, which seemed like a well-used, vibrant community spot. We spent time on the beach while it was swimming weather, and walked along the paths around it almost every day with our dogs. It was especially picturesque as the trees changed color and weather cooled. We loved our stay here and would gladly stay again!

Great place to stay in the cities next to great restaurants. A bargain as well. The host was a great communicator : very knowledgeable and friendly! Would gladly stay again.

I stayed at the Kestrel cabin with my 2 boys and their father, the space was quite cozy for the 4 of us, but we didnt feel too crammed. Everything was very clean and felt updated - the cabin was a bit tricky to find but Leisa answered my call quickly and gave clear directions how to find. The lake is right by the cabin and was so beautiful when the sun was out! We could hear lots of birds, some traffic sounds as well but it wasnt bothersome. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Martha’s home is incredible. It’s steeped in love and intentionality. We stayed here with 6 adults and a toddler and it was the perfect space to get away. Martha was highly proactive and hospitable with her recommendations and hosting – we’re already thinking of when we can come back!

We loved out stay at John's place in Cottagewood. Great location, beautiful home, well stocked . . . perfect for our family of five. Would absolutely stay again!

Easily one of the best locations I've stayed at. The house and boat house were lovely, the host was very responsive, the location was great. We went to the renfest after checking out which is just down the road, 10 out of 10 stars.

Our time at Rachel and Jacob’s cabin was as advertised…a comfortable cabin with clean rooms, all listed amenities and a quiet location for our time in MN. The frozen lake complete with fish houses and other winter activities was enjoyable to watch and we hope to return to participate in the summer offerings sometime in the future. J&J

Josh was very accommodating. The place was clean and beautiful! The grounds and lake view was gorgeous! Our group tripped a breaker and I had to call him to find the power box. He answered right away, and stayed on the phone with me until the problem was resolved.

I was looking for a peaceful place to rest and renew and it was perfect. Extremely clean and had everything we needed.

AMAZING cabin. We had a family get away for a couple nights and didn’t want to leave! Great running trails, fishing, comfortable and beautiful home. The fall colors were breathtaking. Tricia was a great host! We really hope that we can come back soon!

Adorable home, pictures don’t do the decor justice. Great view waking up to the lake. Had plenty of kitchen supplies so you don’t have to buy all the basics if you’re cooking. Neighborhood was nice, we went for a run in the morning. Reccommend this cute spot!

was going to renn fair in shakopee as our group had done the year before, had difficulties with previous airbnb and greatly appreciated the upgrade this time around. place was spacious, enough room for everyone, and located in easy to find but nice neighborhood. would reccomend to anyone.

We loved the home! It was a beautiful place for me and my grown kids from different areas fly to and share a long weekend together. It was very spacious with lots of windows and beautiful views. Comfortable furniture, lots of great amenities. When we had a question, his response was super fast. The hot tub was clean and hot...the fireplace worked and was so lovely. We all agreed we'd love to come here next time! Highly recommend.

Jackson and Shelly' s Air BB was outstanding. They we very friendly and proactive hosts. We will definitely stay there again next year!

We absolutely loved the accommodations. The house is beautiful, modern, comfortable, spacious, clean and perfect for our family of 6. The views are exceptional - seeing the sunrise in the morning was a real highlight. The back yard is large and the waterfront is as advertised - clear/clean lake, serene views, nice boat pier - so relaxing. Also, we took advantage of the option to hire a private chef one night and the meal was Michelin-quality. The house itself - and the entire experience here at Donna and Peter's place was 5-star all the way. Super responsive, super friendly and worth every penny. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!

What a wonderful stay! Our family of 4, plus grandpa stayed to sightsee in MPLS and Miki's beautiful home had us feeling like we were cabining by the lake, yet a quick drive to all the sights! Plus, Miki has a way of welcoming you, making for a perfect host. We hope to go back every summer, it's a special place.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The pictures do not do this place justice! We were able to catch fish right off the dock and tied up our boat easily on the private dock. Clear Lake was full of fish action too! We enjoyed all the various private spaces to read a book or lounge as a family. I would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting a getaway to a lakefront space. Thanks again for being wonderful hosts!

Jeanne’s place on the lake was perfect for our weekend in Excelsior. We had ample space, comfy beds, stocked mini fridge, privacy, and beautiful views of and easy access to the lake. We were a quick drive into the adorable town of Excelsior and an easy drive into the city for dinner. Communication was great with a smooth check in and friendly hosts. All in all a great experience.
