Our family felt right at home. The house was well stocked with all the right kitchen equipment and the basics that help one feel right at home (e.g., coffee, sugar, tea). We had one issue with the washer-dryer, but the host was very responsive and helped us remedy the situation.

This cabin was great for our stay for our trips to the Golden Circle and South Iceland. The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and photos. Honestly it was bigger than what we thought it was going to be. The bedrooms were big enough for your luggage and the kids loved hanging out in the loft area. The cabin was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need, especially in the kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus for our family. Hanging out in the hot tub each night was awesome. We even were able to see northern lights on 2 of our 4 nights! We also utilized the grill to make burgers one evening. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that was easy to find. There were some troubles with the gate to get in, but Kristinn was quick to respond. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again in the future.

I’ve recently stayed here for 3 nights with my 2 sisters and my elderly mother. The place was perfect for us to enjoy the golden circle over a few days, taking a little more time than the shorter bus tours (I hired a car). We stocked up at a supermarket in Reykjavik and ate in every night after a days sight seeing. The kitchen was great and well equipped for our needs. We also enjoyed the view and the hot tub. Adam was helpful providing a list of information and useful links including the exact location which was key as AirBnB seemed to be pointing us somewhere else. The only issues we had was initially struggling to open the door (think this was me) and also while the wi fi was no issue we struggled with the TV but as we didn’t really need it, it was no bother. I would happily recommend this property to anyone (and stay there again), just as long as you are clear that you need someone to drive and recommend stocking up on supplies to enjoy the place in the evening.

This was our favourite stay in Iceland! It was beautifully nestled in the snowy mountains. The facilities were great, and the hot tub out in the snow was incredible! Would highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at Mosas Cottage #1. The daytime view from the deck was beautiful and watching the northern lights from the hot tub was spectacular. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 4. It was an ideal location on the Golden Circle.

Checkin was a breeze and Alfa was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. Truly a beautiful home with everything you need, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Views from the home are absolutely stunning and the interior is very warm and welcoming. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would absolutely love to visit again.

Duidelijke instructies van de host, snelle reactie bij vragen. Klein schattig huisje, met alles er op en er aan! Natuur is erg mooi rondom het park, voor van winkels moet je wel wat verder rijden, maar goed bereikbaar met eigen auto. Top verblijf gehad!

Wonderful stay for our family of four in Iceland for the first time! The location was great for day trips to the Golden Circle, Vik and Reykjavik. The home was cozy and clean, we loved the hot tub and the location was private and serene. The host was helpful and proactive with us before the stay. We enjoyed our stay and encourage others to stay here to explore the South Coast of Iceland.

Maria's cabin is out of the way on a small lake. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin had all the necessities and comfortable beds. One bedroom was on the small side, but the main bedroom was large. The only issue was a difference in how America and Icelandic people make their number 1's. I thought the Wi-Fi code had a 7 in it but it was a 1. After I figured that out, the Wi-Fi worked great. :-)

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was spotless, making it feel so comfortable and inviting. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sunset—it was the perfect way to end each day. And the horses? Such a delightful bonus! Seeing them added a special charm to the experience. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

We came to Iceland for Northern Lights. This is a rustic cabin on the farm perfect for seeing Northern Lights at night…at the comfort of the cabin. Sveinn is hospitable and a responsive communicator. The cabin is remote, away from city light pollution, but a few restaurants and a grocery store are about a 5 minute drive in this small town. For 3 consecutive nights, we saw Northern Lights on the back porch with wine, dessert and hot chocolate without having driving to somewhere else. It is cold and windy in south Iceland. But staying at this cabin, you can get inside to warm up…then go back outside to enjoy Northern Lights in the sky. Would return again.

This was my first Airbnb experience. Magnus was always responsive to my inquiries which made me feel better about the experience. We loved the peacefulness of the location. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having a washer and dryer on site. My son and his girlfriend traveled with my husband and I and they had access to separate sleeping/living quarters which was great for added privacy. The hot tub was a huge plus for us. It was used daily. I do wish communication about disposing of trash at the end of the stay had been communicated ahead of time and I didn’t know we needed bed sheets but I might have missed that in the description. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a beautiful home in a beautiful spot. 🇮🇸♥️✈️

Amazing house! We watched the northern lights sitting right in the hot tub. It was unforgettable. The house is very cozy and clean, it has everything you need, the kitchen is equipped with everything! The fireplace also plays an important role, we enjoyed it after a long day on the road. Also thank you for the karaoke, we had a lot of fun. This was the best house for New Year celebration , my friends and I are very grateful to you!

This place is a slice of Goth Heaven. Isolated, dramatic and beautiful! You will need a 4x4 to get here in winter - the ice on the road is no joke - but it's completely worth it. If you're considering it, just do it!!

Een heerlijke week overnacht in het huisje en getourt door de Golden Circle. 3x het noorderlicht gezien door weinig lichtvervuiling in de buurt! Fijn dat er vloerverwarming aanwezig was om het huisje op temperatuur te houden.

Excellently located for short drive to most key attractions within the golden circle. Very quiet and away from the main towns so perfect for seeing the northern lights. Spacious modern house with everything we need. Dóróthea and Baldur were perfect hosts and very responsive. We must come back here!

Maja hat uns bei der Ankunft sehr freundlich und sympathisch begrüßt und viele Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft eignet sich prima als Basis um die Südküste mit Tagestouren zu erkunden. Aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit des Hauses hat man hier außerdem sehr gute Bedingungen um Polarlichter zu sehen (sofern gerade Saison ist). Wir hatten tatsächlich auch das Glück 😉 Insgesamt waren wir im März eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Von unserer Seite also eine absolute Empfehlung!

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und funktionell eingerichtet. Trotz Schnee haben wir ein paar Runden Disc Golf im Garten gespielt, das hat viel Spaß gemacht. Marianna ist individuell auf uns eingegangen und konnte uns sogar einen etwas früheren Check In ermöglichen. Wir haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt! Im Sommer, wenn es etwas wärmer ist, ist die Unterkunft sicherlich nochmal besser!

Our one-night stay in a secluded cottage near Hella was a delightful surprise, while offering a peaceful retreat. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, feeling warm and welcoming. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a washer/dryer combo and a towel warmer in the bathroom, which were especially appreciated. Waking up to the sight of horses grazing outside our window, just as pictured online, was a charming highlight. It truly added to the serene atmosphere. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay to fully enjoy the cozy cottage and its tranquil surroundings. A helpful tip for future guests: plan your meals in advance! We found that restaurants and shops in the area tend to close around 7 PM. To avoid any late-night hunger pangs, we suggest eating beforehand or stocking up on groceries, as we did. Thankfully, the cottage was well-equipped for preparing dinner, and the provided Nespresso was the perfect way to cap off the evening.
