Das Haus ist sehr groß und besonders komfortabel. Es ist blitzsauber und gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Aus den Fenstern hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Landschaft und Leirvik. Die Effo-Tankstelle reicht für die Grundversorgung absolut aus und bietet deutlich mehr als eine normale Tankstelle in Deutschland, z.B. auch Frischfleisch. Das Haus ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Touren auf die Nordinseln. Wir hatten netten Kontakt mit Halla und Pauli und würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können alles absolut empfehlen. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir auch, dass Pauli jederzeit und sehr schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet hat.

We felt right at home in Ann and Adrian's beautiful house and enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful view of the harbour, the hotpot and the cosy atmosphere. Everything was lovingly prepared and even our three-year-old daughter was thought of. Adrian was also very friendly and we thank you for letting us be your guests.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a little disappointing was that some of the amenities that are listed as included actually require an additional fee (laundry/jacuzzi/sauna), and the price, while reasonable, is not listed anywhere prior to check in. Wifi was available, but rather spotty, to the point of being unusable at times, but there is good LTE coverage throughout the space. All in all, our first time in the Faroes was great- Paulina & Boguslaw are great hosts who are willing to quickly help out with any issues that might pop up. I highly recommend staying in one of their rooms if they are available!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt total genossen! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und auf Dinge, die man so nicht erwartet (Mixer, Pürierstab z.B.). Der Check-in war super einfach, gefunden haben wir das Haus auch ganz leicht. Es ist ein altes Haus, aber das macht es so authentisch. Die steile Treppe ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auch darauf wird ja hingewiesen. Wir waren mit unserer 2 jährigen Tochter hier, da muss man vielleicht mal ein wenig mehr aufpassen. Es führt nur eine kleine Straße zu dem Haus, die muss man immer fahren, war für uns aber gar kein Problem und wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen! Wenn wir noch mal auf die Färöer fahren, kommen wir sicher wieder!

Die Hütte ist etwas besonderes. Es ist nicht super schick und vielleicht auch nicht für jeden geeignet aber wenn man eine einmalige Lage sucht, einen Ort der in seiner Einfachheit Gemütlichkeit ausstrahlt und dennoch schnell in einem bezauberndem kleinen Ort sein möchte, dann ist das hier genau das richtige. Lis ist super sympathisch, hilfsbereit und in der rauen Faroer Wetterlage äußert aufmerksam und fürsorglich. Toller Ort, tolle Hütte, tolle Lage, tolle Menschen- hör auf zu lesen- Buche diese Unterkunft!

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
