Everything was perfect. The house is really cute and comfortable. The nature around and the views are amazing. The supermarket is 5 minutes drive away. There is a bus nearby too. Christian is a great host. He is friendly, replies quickly and does everything to arrange you if he can. I am so happy to have stayed there.

Belle maison avec toutes les commodité, belle prestation. Très beau village avec en prime les macareux, la rando est très belle. C'est un très beau pays.

Olaf's place might have been my favorite in the Faroes. The kitchen and living room were well appointed and very comfortable. The bedrooms are small, but each has its own lovely view out the window. I relished the sound of the stream outside mine (though the high winds prevented me from keeping my window open all night the first night). Gjogv might have been my favorite town too. Being there in September meant it was quite quiet — most of the homes are seasonal homes inhabited mainly in the summer — but that was very welcome. We happened to wake up the first morning to a gorgeous blue sky and sun, so that no doubt helped, but the location is simply spectacular (mountains on three sides, then sea, with even more dramatic mountains across the way). The gorge and the hike above it were both amazing. We saw vivid rainbows each morning. The nearby guest-house (Gjáargarður) also provided the best meal of our week in the Faroes. I would love to return someday.

Excellent choice for those looking for a modern approach while visiting a beautiful location. Equipped with WiFi, a 4k tv, a nice kitchen, and smart lights, this house has all of the luxuries of today’s world, all while boasting a beautiful view you will never get tired of.

Le logement correspondait aux photos, possibilité d'aménager le couchage selon nos besoins. Annika est communicante et apporte des informations utiles. L'emplacement est incroyable et paisible avec une perspective sur l'océan, la maison est calée sur le flanc de la colline verdoyante. Nous avons eu la joie et le plaisir, en toute liberté, de nous promener sur les collines, observer les moutons, admirer la vue, découvrir les cascades et respirer l'air pur !!

Wir haben neunTage in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Haus von Rannvá verbracht und jeden Tag sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll gestaltet, die Betten sind bequem und warm, in den Räumen sind verschiedene Lichtakzente gesetzt. Unschlagbar ist der Ausblick vom Eckfenster im Wohnzimmer oder von der Dachterrasse aus - direkt auf den Fjord. Auch wunderbar, um Polarlichter zu beobachten. Toll war auch, dass man Waschmaschine und Trockner im Keller nutzen konnte - gerade bei einem längeren Aufenthalt. Ich war insgesamt 6 Wochen auf den Färöer Inseln unterwegs und dachte, ich hätte schon alles gesehen. Aber Rannvá hatte immer noch gute Tipps, was man noch unternehmen konnte. Sie ist die perfekte Gastgeberin - super freundlich, antwortet immer direkt und proaktiv. Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt in ihrem schönen Haus und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen! Vielen Dank für alles - es war der perfekte Aufenthalt.

Can’t beat the view of Klaksvik. Perfect location for sunny and gloomy days. We visited in off season and thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee and evening wine looking at ships coming and going.

Great location central to town. Accommodation great overlooking the port. Steep steps inside. Found it easier to drive down the laneway to offload luggage before parking at the port.

This place was so lovely!! Very cute and extremely clean. Gunnvá was really nice and helpful, and we appreciated the extra little touches like milk and bread. The place had everything we needed- it was a short walk to downtown but was also very private and quiet and had parking.

Kristian was very helpful and friendly, he helped me booked a taxi because my phone was unable to call for one. The place I stayed was spacious, tidy, and clean. Kitchen had everything I needed. Lots of useful information about transport and grocery stores were provided as well. I totally recommend staying in this Airbnb!

Le logement est conforme aux photos. Il a répondu à toutes nos attentes. Il se trouve à 20m d’une très bonne pizzeria qui ne propose pas uniquement de la pizza mais aussi des kebabs et des hamburgers. Une rue en dessous du logement se trouve un supermarché « bonus » pour faire les courses à toute heure. Nous avons passé un super séjour aux îles Féroé et nous recommandons grandement le logement d’Hilary.

We verbleven 4 nachten in Jon’s appartement, het was erg knus. We konden zo naar binnen. Terwijl we aan het koken waren kwam Jon even gedag zeggen. Erg aardig want meestal zie je de verhuurder niet. Wat we wel misten was een koekenpan, deze hebben we bij de Bonus op de hoek gekocht. (Super handig twee supermarkten op loopafstand) In de omgeving hebben we mooie dingen gezien. En iets later uitchecken was geen probleem gelukkig. Dit in verband met onze vlucht. Avond voor vertrek kreeg ik nog een berichtje van Jon met de vraag hoe laat we gingen ontbijten. De volgende ochtend kwam Jon met verse broodjes, sin.sap en allerlei beleg. We hebben toen gezellig met zijn drieën ontbeten, en mooie verhalen over de Faeröer kunnen uitwisselen. Zelf vond ik het enige nadeel dat er geen raam open kon, voor mij was het hierdoor te warm om te slapen.

We were welcomed as we arrived by Litzie and her husband. They pointed out the amazing view, and Litzie showed us round the extensive apartment. There were many brochures available and she gave us lots of personal recommendations. The apartment was extremely well equipped, excellent WiFi and TV. It really had a homely feel. It's been a real pleasure to meet our hosts and discuss our adventures with them.

This apartment is the perfect location for a trip to the Faroes! It is located close to the center, easy to find and in a really quiet place! Holger and his wife were very helpful and answered our questions when we had any and gave us good tips and suggestions when we needed. I highly recommend this place ! We would definitely be back !

We enjoyed staying at Óluva's place! The location was perfect and we were easily able to go into town down the street, and it was a great location to base ourselves in the Faroe Islands! The view from the apartment was great and it was wonderful to have all the amenities (like a full kitchen and laundry) during our stay. We would happily stay here again when visiting the Faroe Islands!

Our stay at Andreas apartment was awesome! The apartment itself was modern, warm cozy, extremely clean and had everything we‘d ever needed. It was even better than the pictures and made us feel like home the second we entered! The view from the apartment and also the jacuzzi was breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise with a lovely breakfast and then later on watching the sunrise from the jacuzzi after a nice sauna moment was an absolute zen-moment and can hardly be topped! We absolutely enjoyed every single bit of it - especially the peaceful quietness it came with. Andreas is an absolute amazing host! Very kind, very helpful and always reachable which made the whole stay even more pleasant and made us feel at home. His tips and insights really helped us during our stay and gave us a better understanding of the beauty of the Faroe Islands. We have no other words other thank you for this amazing stay!

EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME! The apartment is super clean, fresh and well appointed with everything one might need. If showers are important to you, this one is the BEST! It’s a perfect location, close to the airport and right in the middle of venturing north or south to all the sights & hikes on the island. Would love to stay here again!

Super beliggenhed. Dejlig udsigt. Fint udstyret lejlighed og meget privat, selvom værten bor i samme hus. Anna-Maria og hendes mand var meget søde og hjælpsomme.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helgi’s. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, cozy, and had ample space four our family of four. Helgi went the extra mile in providing a highchair for us. We would definitely stay again!

What a pleasant stay we had in Leirvík. Thorhild and Runi were welcoming and great hosts. It was a great place to explore Eysturoy and the surrounding islands and places to see. Highly recommend.
