This was my first time staying at an Airbnb and honestly I loved this space. It was clean and tidy, super cozy and homely! They provided cold water in the fridge and had plenty of amenities to make coffee! It was a super charming place and I would definitely want to spend my time up north here again!

This house is lovely and the location is peaceful and in the middle of nature. Close to town (still have to drive in), but quiet and peaceful. Loved the two configuration with the two primary bedrooms and the hot tub!

Previous reviews mentioned train noise but the house was well insulated so it was very muted. Blackout blinds and double-glazed windows did their job. The Folgers coffee set up was excellent and they left creamers. Beds were new and clean. Seating was limited, but we are a couple. Everything worked, especially the heater, since it was cold. We will stay again when we visit family nearby.

Kit was awesome. She allowed us to check-in early and check out an hour later as well. The street is safe and great location. The home was perfect for our short stay with my family of 4. Would definitely recommend her home to others.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The home was peaceful and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with beautiful views. One of the biggest highlights was how welcoming they were to our pups. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Communication was excellent; they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

This was our second extended stay at the Heritage House while in Sacramento on family business. Robert was a great host and was very responsive to our questions. We continue to be very satisfied with the accommodations and very happy to see some of the updates including bedroom curtains, additional kitchen appliances, Mrs Meyers hand soap and Native toiletries. We enjoyed having the space to spread out and sufficient bathrooms for our group. We made good use of the kitchen, dishwasher and laundry facilities. And it was great to relax in the living room with the big screen TV after long days of physical and emotional labor. While we hope to not need many more family business trips to Sacramento, we will definitely stay here again when in town!

We had a short and pleasant stay while visiting family nearby. The location is great, we loved walking the neighborhood and to nearby parks, coffee and restaurants. The apartment was peaceful and comfortable, with thoughtful kitchen amenities. Thank you Renée, we look forward to coming again.

Everything as described. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly capable of cooking meals. Lots of space. ~15 min walk to Berkeley Bowl, which is a great place to pick up groceries. Some reviews mention hearing footsteps overhead; there is an apartment overhead, and the sound is about as loud as you would expect for living in a lower-level apartment. Joe is very quick to respond to questions, which reduces any issues that might come up. I had some problem with the WiFi, and Joe replied quickly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Overall a smooth experience.

We stayed in Casita 1 for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The location was really good. The MacArthur BART station was about 3 blocks away and the AC Transit 57 line provided 15-minutely service from across the street to the Oakland Museum, Chinatown, Lake Merritt, the Grand Lake Theatre, and even more places by transferring. We walked around the neighborhood during the day and from the bus stop around 10pm and felt safe. The directions to check in were very clear and easy to follow. The Casita itself was even better than in the pictures. The colors, textures, and design were beautiful and stylish enough to be in a magazine, but also very cozy and welcoming. We also really appreciated the special touches that put this accomodation over the top. Disposable slippers? Yes! A variety of cool drinks to welcome you? Yes! Mouthwash? Yes! Nespresso and pods? Yes! Earplugs? Yes. Liquid cream for afternoon tea? Yes! I could go on, but you get it. We would definitely stay again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Heidi's place. I stayed here for all of February and found it quite accommodating for the length of my stay. The bed is quite comfortable and the bathtub was a great addition. This place gets great light, with a lovely outdoor porch, conveniently located near Lake Merritt. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jonathan’s place. Close to the BART and freeway. Quiet neighborhood and liked that it was at the end of a cul de sac. The garage was very convenient. The space was perfect for our family. Would return in the future.

I stayed here for a month and it was great, I highly recommend! As described and seen in the pictures. Annie was helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. I think this apartment is perfect for 1-2 people with a child or small/medium-sized pet. Clean and cozy with nice, warm lighting. The bed was comfy, kitchen was small but well-equipped, living room was roomy with a medium-sized couch, and bathroom more than sufficient. I loved relaxing on the deck as well! The neighborhood is hilly and beautiful, close to bus/ferry/restaurants/stores. Touristy downtown, but not as much in the immediate vicinity. I walked A LOT with my dog and enjoyed it, but the hills can be steep! Definitely a very safe area. The only “con” is, in my opinion, it’s just a bit expensive for the size. However, I understand it’s in a pretty wealthy neighborhood and am sure Airbnb fees/taxes account for a decent part of the cost. Suffice to say, this is a once-in-a-long-while stay for me. Hopefully that’s fair.

Great location on the canal! The house had a sauna, jacuzzi, pool, kayaks and a paddle board. All the toys for an active stay unfortunately, it was too cold during our stay to take advantage of the water toys. We however enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi. We also had a movie night on the comfortable sectional and huge TV in the family room.

Had a great short stay here with my nephew over MLK weekend, and enjoyed every moment of it. Thanks Jason!

Could not have been a more perfect place for a girls weekend in Napa! House was extremely clean. Easy to communicate with the host. Would definitely stay again!

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

I booked this home a group of our law students that were there attending a competition. They said the place was beautiful and very roomy. It was also super convenient to their competition location. The host was extremely proactive and provided clear instructions upfront, and ahead of time. She was always responsive to our guest if they had a question as well. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at this location again.

Everything listed in the amenities was provided, and the hot tub was easy to use and already heated upon arrival, which was a nice touch. We even had some wildlife visitors, adding to the serene atmosphere. While it’s a little outside the city, the tranquility and nature make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful home and great place for us to gather with our children and grandchildren. We would definitely come back. A great time was had by all. Communication was great and check in seamless.

Great place to stay. Beds were comfortable and the home has all the amenities including anything you may have forgotten. . They have paddle boards, kayaks, extra coffee, water, spices and oils and a lot of other things. Linens were clean and the place was super nice. Definitely will be back !
