A lovely, peaceful little stay! Perfect little home away from home while we were traveling. The owner was kind enough to let our dog have a run in the paddock which was wonderful. And the owner's two dogs, Blue and Rocket were absolute sweeties. Will definitely stay again if we are passing through!

The place was wonderful- cute little spot close by Mt Hutt and Methven. Quiet area with beautiful mountain and field views. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need including a microwave which wasn’t shown in photos. Super easy to check in and had clear instructions from the host. Would come back for future winter holidays!

Great apartment and handy walking to centre of town. The apartment had everything we needed, was warm, functional and very cosy. The beds were super comfy and a good nights sleep was had by all. Thoroughly recommend.

We enjoyed staying here on our first visit to Timaru. Easy access to the large community park and Caroline Bay across the street. Beautiful decor and furnishings made our stay very comfortable. The windows kept things quiet and offered a terrific view of the bay. The patio was a great perk. We had a fun time on bikes on Hector’s Coastal Trail but the highlight was seeing a blue penguin at the port! Hope to come back again.

It was my second stay here and I'm sure I will be back! It was clean, easy access and just what I needed. It was peaceful and not far from shops/restaurants. Big thumbs up! 👍

What a bloody beauty! We actually talked about selling up (Sunshine coast of Australia) & moving over. Stunning house and extremely well appointed. Comfortable beds with quality linens, shag pile carpets in all bedrooms. Sleek kitchen and bathrooms and beautiful living room. We all made use of the outdoor hot-tub, such a wonderful addition to have. The surrounding landscape is a visual treat. It was hard to leave, but we will be back. Rowan was the most thorough host with communication and instructional info on operating everything involved with the house. An absolute pleasure:)

Surrounded by amazing views with great star-gazing and sunrises over Timaru. Jillian was very responsive and accommodating when some trip details happened to change. Much appreciated and would happily stay again

We had a fantastic stay! Leonie and Danie have created beautiful welcoming well equipped spaces which a so clean and have a real homely feel. We highly recommend this property and if we are ever back in Ashburton we would definitely stay again.

We especially loved the spaciousness of Jolie's place. The view of the mountains was beautiful. It was well appointed and Jolie was helpful and responsive. We would like to have had a physical welcome book with info with WiFi information, restaurant options, etc, though some of this information was available on the Airbnb site. Also, a couple better reading lights would have been nice; most of the lighting was non-dimmable and overhead. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house next to a farm! You could see the cows in the morning! The place is very clean and well built and everything is working good. Definitely worth a stay to explore the surrounding places! It might just be a bit dark to enter at night like most rural houses.

Pretty easy location to find, private which suited us with classic cars. Great with communication & felt it was a decent price.
