Mark and Alisa were amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We broke down a few minutes away and Mark was quick to aid us by fetching my family and luggage while I waited for the tow truck. I have to give a huge shout for this act of kindness. Thank you once again. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back God willing.

We had a wonderful stay at Leatitia’s place. Leatitia welcomed us warmly and we felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The location is top class…walking distance to all the beaches within the Voelklip area. Long lazy afternoons enjoying the garden and Braai area. The snooker table was a wonderful fun addition. Wundervolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in dieser AirBnB-Unterkunft in Hout Bay! Die Lage ist einfach unschlagbar – ruhig, idyllisch und nur einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt. Jeden Morgen aufzuwachen und die Meeresluft zu genießen, war ein absolutes Highlight. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders der großzügige Außenbereich hat uns begeistert, perfekt, um bei einem Glas Wein zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren herzlich und hilfsbereit. Hout Bay selbst ist wunderschön – ein malerisches Küstendorf mit viel Charme und tollen Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen oder einen entspannten Strandtag. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Ein echtes Juwel!

This place is beautiful. the most comfortable beds, fantastic location, everything you need in the kitchen. Sue was friendly and so helpful. you can tell she has great pride in the house and well she should. Reeks of art and culture, of family and friends. Of a home. We could have stayed here forever. Beautiful, Fantastic. So worth every penny. would love to return.

I loved the master bedroom with its amazing view over the small cove. Watching sunsets was fantastic. I missed having a bit more daylight in the house. I guess that’s a great asset in summer, we stayed in autumn though and it made the house a bit cold. Just something to consider whatever you’re preferences are. Hans was very flexibel with check-in & check-out. Thank you!

Unser Aufenthalt hier war einfach großartig! Die Lage ist perfekt – nur ein paar Schritte zum Strand, sodass wir jeden Tag direkt ins Meer springen oder lange Spaziergänge am Wasser genießen konnten. Die Unterkunft selbst ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet – wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt! Ein echtes Highlight war die Außendusche, die nach einem Strandtag für die perfekte Erfrischung sorgte. Auch ein großes Dankeschön an den Gastgeber – immer erreichbar, herzlich und hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We had the pleasure of staying at Rochelle and her husband’s beautiful house in Melkbosstrand for a work group getaway, and it was absolutely fantastic! Although we were only there for one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—Rochelle and her husband met us at the house, explained everything we needed to know, and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was amazingly well-equipped, and the sea views were just breathtaking. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a getaway. Thanks again, Rochelle and your husband, for making our short stay so memorable!

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay - wish we could have stayed longer but we definitely hope to be back in the future. Incredible views of False Bay, great layout, great indoor/outdoor space - decks, pool, wood-fired hot tub - choice of gas or charcoal braai/bbq ! Great outdoor shower off master bedroom ! Large bedrooms with lots of storage/cupboard space. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very secure and safe. Excellent communication with host (Imraan) - who was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended- we really enjoyed our stay. Note that there are lots of stairs to climb up/down from parking on Boyes Drive to house or down to the beachfront - we were aware of this and knew the geography - so it was not a concern - well worth the views from the house- but just something to be aware of when carrying luggage/groceries etc or for those mobility challenged.

Stunning house. Super clean, lots of space, big pool, beautiful view. We would definitely come back. Exceeded all our expectations. You can walk to the beach and the host ist super nice, helped with everything right away and all essentials were provided. Thank you for the beautiful experience.

A stunning, spacious house in a prime location with a breathtaking view you could admire forever. The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Communication with Stan was effortless – he responds quickly, communicates proactively, and provided valuable tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. A perfect experience!

I lived in Cape Town for 25years and brought my family back to experience its wonders. This Beach cottage was the absolute best base to do this from. We felt safe and this heavenly location is second to none! I swam multiple times a day and the view is second to none which spectacular views of Lions head (which we hiked up-strongly recommend ) and Clifton Beach. I will add that the aircon is not super strong, but David was on it and sent out a repairman to check if anything could be done. This in no way detracted from our dream of a stay! We will return in a heartbeat and will recommend this beach cottage to anyone planning a visit to CT.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in TJ's pristine and quirky house. Everything was clean, comfortable and inviting. The beautiful beach is within walking distance and the greater Kommetjie area is worth exploring.

We stayed at this lovely place for two weeks and felt at home immediately. Very spacious and cozy 2-bdr/2bath with spectacular views and sounds of the ocean just across the road from the beach. Very convenient underground parking; supermarkets, stores, restaurants either in walking distance (or easy 5min drive). Cape Town only 30min away. James and his family were the most wonderful hosts we've ever had, extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We'll definitely be back soon! Thank you so much for these unforgettable memories.

Amy gave great instructions with videos which helped. I came late at night so I would advise to come during the day time to adhere her instructions. The place is perfect for 1 person or a couple. I’m a solo traveler and it was great for me. The nearby beach is wonderful, the local people are so sweet , I felt safe and I love the beach restaurants. I even made friends with someone who took me to church. Great location. Milerton is a dream for sure. I highly recommend

Stunning views all day long, felt right at home! We stayed there for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house! Would definitely comeback. The pool/ outside area is even better than the pictures. Nice balcony with always a bit of shade, plenty of lounger chairs and great outside braai. The house is very spacious, has 3 proper rooms with views and 1 another back room that doesn’t have windows or a proper door but still has quite some light and 2 single beds. Appliances could have a refresh but the location, feeling of the house, stunning views and welcoming vibes/ flexibility of the host truly makes up for it! Thanks a lot!

We had a fabulous week and a bit in Maureen's lovely Woodbridge Island home. The house is spacious yet homely and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is very pretty and secluded and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. Maureen is a warm and friendly host and always happy to help with any queries. We hope to visit again in the future!

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung entspricht den Fotos. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Blick auf das Meer von der Terrasse im obere Stock. Wir hatten ein Problem mit der Energieversorgung, welches Odette umgehend gelöst hat. Die Kommunikation verlief zeitnah und unkompliziert. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Zebra’s View is an incredible retreat, perfect for relaxation. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ocean views are breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to witness dolphins and seals playing in the water. In the distance, we even spotted a whale spraying water, which was magical. The wildlife adds another layer of charm—beautiful birds frequent the area, and the zebras made a delightful appearance on the small strip of lawn just in front of the patio. A couple of things to keep in mind when booking: 1) There is ongoing development around the property, so if you’re staying during the week, the noise and presence of builders will be disruptive. 2) The path nearest to the house that leads to the beach is quite steep, which could be challenging for elderly guests or those with physical limitations. Our stay at Mary-Louise’s villa was incredible! The location on Glen Beach is unbeatable, with breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of waves. The villa was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Mary-Louise was a fantastic host—helpful and welcoming. Can’t wait to return!
