This A-frame cabin was well worth the stay. The space was well designed, clean, well organized, and thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience. The interior was cozy, with new and comfortable furniture. The glass design at the front of the house allowed plenty of natural light to fill the space during the day, while also offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The peaceful environment made it easy to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and completely relax. Overall, this A-frame cabin exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility, making it an excellent choice for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the cabin. It was decorated so beautifully! We just loved all of the mountain themed artwork and hand crafted wooden furniture. There is so much space inside re: rooms, bathrooms, lounging space, etc. The property outside was also so spacious and peaceful to walk around. The big deck was amazing with a cup of coffee at sunrise (mountain view in winter with no leaves on trees) and we spent alot of time hanging out by the fireplace in the living room. We had a 4WD so no issues with the driveway up but my Toyota Camry has made much steeper drives than this one so I'd be more than comfortable coming back with a sedan. Jeremy was super responsive and helpful. I'd highly recommend this stay for an authentic cabin feel with tons of space, peace and quiet, and still being a short drive from town.

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed our cozy stay at the creekside cabin. We especially enjoyed our visits from the adaborable and sweet kitty Zoey. Having her there made us feel like we were at home. The bed was very comfortable with the fluffy pillows and soft sheets. Faith the housekeeper was very freindly and checked on us and made sure eveything was to our likeing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to escape a busy and fast paced lifestyle. We will be back!

Katie is the ultimate host and her cabin was the perfect place to relax and hang out. This was our second stay to celebrate an occasion and it did not disappoint, just like the first stay. She has thought of absolutely everything to relax and unwind, as well as have fun, with games and the jacuzzi. It is the nicest jacuzzi we have ever used. She is friendly and responsive and offered the recommendation of a local art and coffee shop which was a perfect suggestion for us. Her cabin is private and beautiful surrounded by land and woods. We saw deer the first stay and enjoyed her dogs as we asked to pet them when they were outside. We would highly recommend! It is the perfect getaway spot!

Paula is an incredible host! I will admit, once I’m on vacation I’m not the best at timely responses (it’s easy to get lost in the views out there), but she immediately responded to all of my messages! The place is adorable, and the space is perfect for a couples getaway. You cannot beat the sunrise every morning, and there are endless hikes and wineries to visit while you’re here. Everything we needed (minus a camping stove and pan) were supplied in the SheShed. We felt immediately right at home, and I truly recommend the space to anyone looking for views and a cozy escape.

Great place. Just beautiful, front deck has a great view and was fun to just hang out at the cabin. So close to Hanging Rock too. It was perfect.

Steve’s place is awesome, my wife and I were only there for two nights as a stop over on our way back to Ohio but could have easily turned this into an extended stay. The living space was very comfortable, the outdoor decks were very peaceful, the master bedroom king size bed was comfy. We never made it into Galax but had a great hike at the New River trail just down the road and the friendly horses were a hoot. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Steve for sharing your place with us. What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this cabin, and I sincerely LOVE this place!!! My sister and I got to enjoy an inverse snow-globe experience on our stay...although I wouldn't advise anyone without really good 4WD to attempt it in the winter, it was an absolutely dream stay for my birthday!!!! Hosts were on point with everything as usual, and I can't thank them more for maintaining such a wonderful little oasis!!!

The bunkhouse is the perfect place to disconnect from the busy world and take in the quietude of the woods (but still close enough to town to shop, eat, etc). Caroline has thought of everything, lots of little touches in the place to be cozy and comfortable.

Loved the , big house, big kitchen, going to the winery right there was really cool and seeing all the grape vines (although they were brown due to being winter of course) had a nice area for kids and dogs too play. Had a fire pit and they had a bunch of camping chairs to use which was cool. Kitchen stocked with almost all the cookware you’d need. Great sta for a great price

This was exactly what I needed. The cabin was easy to find for how peaceful it was. It is not too far from town so making stops at local stores and restaurants was a quick trip up the road. Unfortunately the blue ridge parkway was closed during our visit but I was shocked to see when leaving the property we were only two right turns from it. It is in such a great location, tucked away but not too far from everything. The cabin itself was just as the pictures showed, there was plenty of space to stretch out in between our planned activities. You can tell the cabin was well maintained and kept clean. The recommendations left on the counter in the kitchen for local restaurants served us well, as well as the maps left us in a great spot for choosing our daily adventures! All in all when I plan on coming back up to the area I will definitely be checking here to see if the cabin is available again so that I know I have somewhere safe, secure, and private in the area to rest my head.

Gloria's place was so lovely and perfect for us--we were on a climbing trip at Hanging Rock. The home has really thoughtful touches and we loved the wood fireplace. The tiling in the bathroom was also gorgeous and reminded me of Portugal!

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

Husband, dogs and I were heading through the area. Spontaneous decision to stay. Booked and arrived within an hour. Pan had a fire going in the woodstove. Plenty of extra wood. Cabin is rustic with tons of visual interest. Very creative use of industrial, vintage, eclectic pieces. Bold creek could be heard in the cabin. Beautiful, peaceful, perfect location for some down time. We will definitely return!!

The location and appearance of the cabin were absolutely stunning. The cabin was very clean, cozy and very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and informative. It was a perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

We had a great stay for a family member’s birthday. William was responsive and ready to help if needed. Property is beautiful, home is well-kept with modern amenities. Hot tub was a cozy bonus! Great for relaxing quality time with loved ones.

We loved our stay in this lovely cabin. We had to leave a little early for personal reason but we enjoyed everything, amazing views, so peaceful and cozy and the weather, especially the rain at night. My husband absolutely loved the shower lol. Thank you Linda and Denis 💗
