We loved staying at Esmeralda's. From the warm welcome from Shelley when we arrived, the little touches such as the message on the board, the small treats and chocolate fish in the fridge. We loved the decor of the apartment and all the little touches, it made us feel at home. Shelley was extremely helpful, from precise directions on how to find the accommodation, the best place for coffee and the best local attractions and restaurants. We loved every minute we spent there and were very sad to be leaving. Thank you Shelley for being such a wonderful host.

Everything about this stay was amazing! The views and space itself were incredible. Best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Do yourself a favor and book this stay!

What a fabulous place to stay! A beautiful location overlooking the bay. We saw two orca in the bay on our first night, which was amazing. The accommodation is wonderful. Fabulous furnishings with beautiful sculptures and art on the walls. We arrived to find a selection of wines, chocolates, home-made biscuits and granola, as well as some wonderful ham, cheese, OJ and other useful fridge staples. Communication with Heather was great, with plenty of helpful information about the local area. Absolutely perfect - thank you!

Fabulous! Truly fabulous!! I really can’t say enough about Anita and The Loft. Anita met us at The Loft and gave us a quick tour, explained how the appliances worked, gave us great recommendations for the area. She is so welcoming and it was fun to chat with her. The Loft has a lovely deck to sit on and watch all the comings and goings of the harbor. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, kitchen equipped for cooking, showers great, all decorated tastefully. Extra touches like milk, chilled water, greenery bouquet, chocolates were appreciated! Everything was top notch!! Having a dedicated parking spot was extra nice. We really hated to leave and hope we can come back someday!! Thanks Anita!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Waimiro. The apartment is spacious, well-planned and equipped - also modern and spotless with the most stunning sea views. It was a joy to immerse ourselves into this peaceful location from the deck, be it on the relaxing lounger or with drinks at the table. Jane provided an expansive and useful welcome pack including visitor recommendations. We really enjoyed our day walking along the beach into Paihia, taking the foot ferry to Russell, climbing to the outlook at Flagstaff Hill, swimming at Long Beach - winding up with a fish and chip finale on the beach back at Paihia! Last but not least, Jane is the perfect host; welcoming, interesting, warm and helpful. Our sincere thanks to her and Dave. Our one regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Alles sauber, leider keine Wäscheleine auf den Zimmern. Man ist gezwungen den teuren Trockner zu verwenden. Das wäre noch zu verbessern. Sonst alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Preis ist im oberen Segment. Allerdings hat man eine vollausgestattete Wohnung inkl. klimaanlage und geschützen Parkplatz. Im Grunde ein Sorglos Packet Danke

Janes Wohnung ist super: Modern, neu, sehr sauber, perfekt ausgestattet, mehr geht nicht. Hinzu kommt die wundervolle Terrasse mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und bedauert, nicht länger bleiben zu können.

Echt zo’n mooie plek om te verblijven. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. Ook het huisje zelf was top👌🏼

Three Ferns is beautiful, the design and interior are of the highest quality, all set in stunning peaceful gardens, with views from every window. The bed was the best we’ve ever had in an Air BnB, so comfortable with lovely bed linen. Mary is a beautiful soul, a 10/10 host, who welcomes you and shows you around and provides excellent suggestions to make your stay memorable. She thoughtfully leaves breakfast provisions, quality yoghurt, granola, bread, jam, fruit, snacks and delicious home baked cookies (more please!). This accommodation and host deserve 10 stars, it truly is a gem Thank you Mary, we will without a doubt be back.

Awesome place! Beware there are 60+ steps, but that makes for an even better view! A cozy place but a little small if lots of you. Would recommend!

Wow, what an incredible slice of paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is tastefully decorated and we felt at home right away. We loved morning coffee on the front deck looking out to the sea, walking down the road to the beach for swims and to paddleboard around the lagoon. Our toddler had so much fun in the outdoor bath and there is wildlife galore. We will definitely be back to Te Tii and the gorgeous house.

Kind for a host to offer their boat for us to fish. Appreciate it!

What a Gem. Location was fabulous. With a beautiful view to watch the sunrise and sunset.Parking was a bonus.Easy 4 min drive to town. The apartment was immaculate ,very comfy with crisp sheets, and spacious bathroom with access to a washing machine and dryer. Lots of little extras for a very comfortable stay. Sue and Chris certainly know how to make their guests feel very relaxed and welcomed. We would certainly recommend Sue and Chri's Air BnB when staying in Paihia.

A lovely unit with all amenities. Well suited for our party of three individuals. Loved walking on the beach before dinner each evening. Good shopping for supplies a short walk or drive a few minutes. Noeline was lovely, messaged to make sure we had checked in okay, etc. Did get caught out on local fish and chip closing at 7pm but short drive to Mangonui to Fresh and Tasty instead.

The apartment is in a great location with excellent views and in a peaceful location. It is well stocked with all the essentials for a long or short stay. Mark was able to give excellent recommendations for a day trip north and for local beaches. We stayed with our family and would highly recommend. It was lovely listening to the ocean and seeing the ever changing scenery. Local shop is 10min walk just along the beach and carries bread and milk, the essential ice cream, great food and takeaways and some great locally produced items.

Lovely place nestled in the hills of Russell. Little drive into the main town but nice relaxed area. Place was spacious. There are a few other rooms but not really an issue. Views are great.

Wonderful place. Enjoyed sitting on the private patio for coffee & drink. Place was clean, well organized & had everything for us. Very supportive host with local recommendations. We were welcomed in person. Hope we can visit again.

Ein wundervoller Ort um ein paar Tage zu bleiben. Am liebsten hätte ich meinen Aufenthalt verlängert - leider aber ausgebucht. Ich kann diese Unterkunft mehr als nur empfehlen. Danke an Bruce!

Room with a view for sure! It’s right on a very pretty beach, but up a few stairs so there’s privacy. The room is very spacious, it’s good a great little kitchen at one end, and a modern bathroom. There’s a nice patio to sit out on and enjoy the view, would recommend for those wanting a beach space.

Die Unterkunft ist zweckmäßig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Lage mit Blick auf den Hafen und die Bay ist grandios. Andrew ist ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der sich aber nicht aufdrängt. Ausstattung und Services sind wie beschrieben und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt.

Fabulous stay at Tui Cottage. What an incredible place with great amenities and the most amazing view and soundscape. Hot tub also fab. Shops and restaurants 15mins down the hill and 20mins back up. Don’t worry about the driveway - honestly - provided you are reasonably mobile it’s no issue. Just park down by the meter at the bottom of the drive. It’s a little walk up but not too far. Couldn’t fault this wonderful stay! Thank you John (for Bay Stays) and Paul (the owner) for all your welcome and rapid responses to queries we had during our stay.
