Our stay was amazing! The place was immaculate and cozy. The amenities were great…loved the home gym and jacuzzi. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive!!!! Would definitely stay again!!!!!

This was the perfect weekend getaway. So relaxing and the house had everything and MORE! Incredible view! We did some crafts, played games, made a pizza from scratch, danced to music on the google home speakers! It was truly an amazing and memorable experience. The home was just as described and Nancy was an incredible and kind host! So many extra towels that were so fluffy and clean! Very comfy beds! Robes! Felt like a luxury experience! Will hopefully stay again :)

My fiancé and I took a weekend away and it was magical- everything we wanted and more! 10/10, will definitely return, thank you Yulia! The small touches like the Christmas decorations, the fireplace with so much firewood, the fire pit, the hot tub….it was a fantastic weekend. Highly recommend this spot to ANYONE!

Tom’s place is the perfect private cabin getaway! He is an amazing host and super quick to respond. The deck and hot tub are amazing, and having access to the community lake is such a nice addition! Perfect place for a peaceful family vacation.

The open-concept living area features large windows that flood the space with natural light, and our evenings feel extra special. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It’s clear that they take great pride in their property!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came for a girls weekend and had the best time. The host was incredibly help, responsive, and kind. The house itself was so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and felt so cozy and homey. We planned a group dinner that fit us comfortably on the long dining table and the living room area fit us comfortably as well, not to mention the amazing views. I would recommend capstone vineyard nearby, they were really accommodating and had great wine and views.

Beautiful cabin with amazing hot hub, amenities were great. Location was perfect to explore wineries in the region, national park, etc. Communication with the host was flawless throughout. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely calm spot for a few days break with young family. A private and cosy cabin set in woodland and kids loved the big garden space. Outdoor firepit was fun for smores. Kitchen well appointed. V clean and nice quality linens etc. Would definitely return.

We stayed at Jared's house for a visit to Shenandoah National Park. It's about 1 hour drive from Old Rag and 20 to 25 minutes from the mile 0 entrance to the park. The house is clean and comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Functional kitchen. Overall a pleasant stay.

Me and my girlfriends had a lovely time at this Airbnb !! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked, the living room was gorgeous with a huge couch perfect for game nights and the house itself was so pretty with all the big windows. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place is so unique and even better than the pictures capture! The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked. The bathrooms were beautiful and the rainfall shower added a nice touch! The views were breathtaking, wildlife was very active! We got snow our first night and Joel was quick to update us on the best/safest roads to travel. Definitely look forward to returning

The outdoor space is just as impressive, featuring a deck, a fire pit, and easy access to hiking, wineries, and Skyline Drive. Every detail, from the thoughtful decor to the seamless check-in process, made this stay exceptional. The host was responsive and ensured everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough!

If you’re looking for solitude, this is the place. I only encountered and/or saw one person the entire stay, and they were in a vehicle while I was walking. Exactly the getaway I was looking for, yet no sacrifice of modern conveniences. On T-Mobile phone I maintained 2 bars of 5G most of the time Home had all the modern conveniences I needed. I intend to return.

We found this hidden gem and needed a place to stay on a longer timeframe than normal for an average AirBnB stay. Rafael was amazing to discuss our needs and how he could accommodate us. We were allowed to bring our dogs with us, which made it feel like home. The home was cozy and well stocked with the needed amenities. The neighborhood was quiet and full of wildlife. The neighbors are also very pleasant and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and commuted to DC for work. The home is a quick 20 minute drive to University Lot to use the Omni ride bus service with free parking. We highly recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful getaway or a stay with any easy 1 hours commute to the city.

Three of us stayed at Matt's for a writing retreat. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with cooking tools so we were able to make meals without any inconvenience. The cabin is charmingly decorated and cozy, and the electric fireplace made the living room our favorite place to hang out. All of us agreed we would love to come stay here again.

This charming cabin was the ideal spot for our weekend getaway. The Kristy was responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, with a cozy wood burning stove and hot tub. While the number of beds was accurately described, it would have been helpful to know that there are 3 bedrooms and 2 additional "nooks" for sleeping. A small tip for winter visitors: Pack some slippers or warm socks as the wood floors can get a bit chilly. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape.

We loved staying at Erica’s place! We appreciated the cleanliness, ease of check in and how comfortable everything felt. The house was so nicely decorated, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We definitely plan to come back in the future. Great place!

The photos don’t do justice to the experience. A stunning lake view in a cabin setting with tons of fun for the kids. We canoed on the lake, threw the football, cooked a steak meal and ended the evening with s’mores. All of this with driving distance from the beltway for an amazing staycation. I will definitely be back for a weekend getaway from the weekly grind.

This cabin was a wonderful mix of old school charm and modern day comforts. The attention to detail was so amazing & made the home so comfortable . The extras like linens, coffee, and firewood were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommended this beautiful home for your next getaway.

My Mom, Aunt, and I stayed only one night in this great retreat. We were traveling in the area and just wanted a quite place to relax and unwind for the day. The Sauna was a great help to the unwinding! The drive up to the location is quite long and we did not realize it was within a type of campground. Rest assured, it isn't your typical campground, it is very private and remote. GPS took us to the correct location, you just have to keep driving up the hill and read the signs for the Woodlyn Retreat. We had no trouble parking down in the driveway, but if threat of bad weather, you may want to park off the main road. Also, since it was winter and in upper 20's low 30's, the house was rather chilly on the 1st floor and the single bed would not be tolerable unless you used the wood stove. Bathroom is also not heated directly, but is tolerable considering the hot water and steam from a shower. Must visit nearby locations: Aspendale and The Apple House.

Natasha's home was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway and she couldn't have been more accommodating, helpful and pleasant. HIGHLY recommend this host and we will be looking forward to staying with her again soon.
