We had an excellent trip. The only problem we had was that the power went out towards the end of our trip. Our Joey was extremely proactive and helpful when communicating.

Our girls weekend at Connie’s was everything we were looking for…and more! From the fire pit table to the hot tub, from the beautiful walking trails to the star gazing at night, it was the tranquil and peaceful environment we were looking for to get away, escape the business of life, and reconnect with each other and God! Connie was extremely responsive to any question I had while there (big or small). She was patient and helpful! 100% recommend this property and anything from Connie!!!

We had an amazing stay in Castleton at the Twin Ponds house! The home is on 550 acres of beautiful farmland that you can explore. There are other homes for rent on the property, but we barely saw other people on-site. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. The house is very large, and while a bit outdated (it would have been a grand home in the 80s), it is very well-maintained and clean. Lots of bedrooms, even more bathrooms and closets, and well-equipped with all you need to enjoy your stay. The pluses: A grand piano! Ping pong! Friendly goats down the drive! We will be back - hopefully with friends!

We had a lovely experience here, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The host, Connie, was very kind, helpful, and responsive. I would highly recommend this spot to others looking for a pleasant getaway.

Such a super cute historical place with plenty of character! I came for the Upperville Horse Show and had a great time staying here! Peyton and Kenny were very easy to communicate with and enjoyed spending time with them! I will certainly reach out to them when I return to the area!

The house above the barn was perfect for our reading retreat! Comfortable seating was a priority for our needs (lots of reading) and Virginia’s home provided just that! The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were clean. It was snowing on the day of our arrival and the farm hands had worked hard to plow spots for us to park, prior to our arrival. We will happily return for another weekend trip.

Peter and Helen were just wonderful from start to finish. They made sure the cabin (which is so lovely, very homey and rustic) was ready for us complete with a book of things to do and intros to the area and their farm. There was a slight issue with another renter on the property, but Peter and Helen had it resolved in less than an hour (even though it was quite early in the morning). Within 15 mins of Sperryville and 40 mins of Shenandoah National Park, absolutely perfect.

Hidden gem! Both the market and the bed and breakfast are amazing. The market has a quant bar and restaurant with great food and drink. It also has normal things you would expect at a market with additional specialty products from local vendors such as goat milk soap, local kombucha and other fun touches. The surrounding town is filled with activities that any history/outdoor enthusiast/wine lover will enjoy. Overall great stay, great communication and individual attention and looking forward to coming back soon!

I love staying here. The view and the renovated barns are top notch Peter and Helen have been wonderful to stay with. Make sure you ask for the homemade goat milk soap.

Fantastic stay overall. The host was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. We made an oversight during our booking in that we didn't notify in advance that we were bringing a pet, but once we explained the issue and discussed it with the host, she was very accommodating and allowed us to pay the pet deposit and stay. She has two small puppers who tagged along with us on several walks around the property (highly recommend walking up Bruce's Mountain for a spectacular view!). Would happily return for another stay in the future.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

This is our groups' second time staying at The Meadows House. The bedrooms are spacious and there are plenty of large spaces for group activities. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We loved the pool, hot tub, tennis courts, walking trail and ponds. The views of the mountains are really amazing. It's a lovely place to stay and enjoy time together with a gorgeous back drop.

Huge space great for multiple families. View and setting are serene and perfect for a country escape. Fantastic cooking supplies (pans, blender, utensils, etc.). Bring your own basic ingredients (oil, salt, pepper)!

Patricia is a wonderful host, met us as we came in, she gave detailed information of the cabin , parking , the farm and the animals . All such a peaceful & beautiful place. Felt right at home & relaxed . Given how chilly it was outside during our stay we enjoyed having a fire going in the wood stove. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend & look forward to staying there again. Patrizia is a wonderful, & friendly person. If you’re looking for a relaxed and unwinding stay you’d do great choosing to stay there.
