The apartment is very comfortable and quiet with a super convenient location. Moe was a great host, very accommodating and timely with any questions and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The living space is beautiful and very clean, the land around the apartment and house are beautiful and the little town of Culpeper is so nice. This was the perfect place for us and our dog to stay during the week of Christmas that gave us some peace away from our families at night and we will undoubtedly be back next year. We could not recommend this place more!

This was a wonderful, peaceful, and private location. It is a great escape from the rest of the day. I highly recommend and will be returning when I’m back in this area. Host was very proactive and responsive. I appreciated them reaching out regularly just to check in with me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth’s place and our dog felt right at home too. We weren’t there during the day because we were visiting our daughter and her family who are located close by. The location and accommodations worked out perfectly for us! Many thanks!

Celebrated a birthday and retirement with a friend at Kay's. Kay from the start was helpful and the hospitality was amazing. Her details and care highlighting the birthday and retirement were so thoughtful. Sweet notes and momentos sprinkled throughout the place. Treats in each room.. and if you love animals the care she has for her beautiful horses and dogs is so tender. Kay will gladly introduce them to you. The property itself is a slice of heaven. The interior is cozy and so inviting. Comfortable bed and extremely clean. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely want to come back.

I wanted to wake up and look out over beautiful country vistas and that’s exactly what we got with this lovely new custom home‘s guest apartment. Private and peaceful and brand new just 1 mile from downtown Middleburg. Exactly where we needed to be for our purposes. If you have never been to Middleburg Virginia, it is a very special place. You will remember your visit forever.

Hidden gem! Both the market and the bed and breakfast are amazing. The market has a quant bar and restaurant with great food and drink. It also has normal things you would expect at a market with additional specialty products from local vendors such as goat milk soap, local kombucha and other fun touches. The surrounding town is filled with activities that any history/outdoor enthusiast/wine lover will enjoy. Overall great stay, great communication and individual attention and looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a great stay at Barbara’s home. We were there over the week of Christmas and Barbara had a tree and decorations. We appreciated it so much. The house looked very festive. The house is big! We had lots of space to spread out. The hot tub was well used as well as the games and tables in the basement. The area around the house is beautiful and Barbara gave us a tour of their sheep farm and invited us to walk around the property. We did that and enjoyed our walk along the creek to the river. If you are looking for a peaceful place for a group, this will suit you and Barbara is a wonderful host.

Loved staying here! Place is clean and accommodated out big group easily and comfortably. There is plenty of kitchenware to be able to stay in and cook a meal. Beds were comfortable and all rooms felt clean!

Our party of four stayed here as a base for our Old Rag hike (trailhead is a 30 minute drive on quiet country roads). We appreciated the big kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and game room. House is clean and has a lot of character. Culpeper has a nice little downtown and we liked getting dinner at Grill 309 after our hike. Would stay again.

This house was fantastic!! Large home, plenty of space. Quite neighborhood. Shopping and dining close by. Home was well stocked with necessities. Beds were super comfortable. Enjoyed the large tub!! Has a large basement with a full bath. Basement leads to a nice outdoor patio area. Would most definitely rent again!!

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

I would highly recommend this cozy cottage! Jeannie was such a sweetheart and so very helpful. We had such a restful and relaxed weekend.

The Rock Cottage is a perfect romantic getaway! We enjoyed walking all of the hiking trails and exploring the vast property with our 2 dogs (such a treat when they can vacation with us). The wood burning stove and hot tub were wonderful amenities on the cold weekend. It was an easy drive into Culpepper for a fabulous dinner at Piedmont Steakhouse (pricey but worth it). And, our favorite part was the Pool House/Spa, the pictures do not do it justice. The Steam Room/Sauna/Cold Plunge/Sauna regime was rejuvenating and being able to swim in the deep. vast pool with attached hot tub completed a perfect afternoon. On our way home we drove 15 minutes out of our way to visit the Copper Fox Distillery and adjacent shops in Sperryville - a must if you like craft whiskey. We are looking forward to returning during a warmer season to enjoy even more of what the grounds have to offer. Thank you Connie, Paul, and team for being so responsive and helpful!
