I would stay there again, comfortable and Jenna let us know about bad weather coming. We were there to be with family after going through some rough stuff. I would recommend it to other family.

I have to go to Bastrop at least once a year for my daughter‘s dance competitions. Olga was a fabulous host with an immaculate home. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and so comfortable. The location was wonderful, and the neighbors were great! We will definitely be staying here again! The host is very responsive and very generous. She even left snacks and drinks for us.

Green House was a perfect place to stay for our annual Round Top girls trip. Such a beautiful location with trees, rolling hills, a pond and all the cattle to watch roam. It was clean and had plenty of room indoors and outdoors. Eric sent a great list of places to eat innSmithville and other clear information and he checked on us the evening we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay here for a wedding in the area. Found a lovely place to eat nearby called Garden Company. The house was nicely decorated, clean and exactly what was listed. The owner was super responsive. A fun weekend, for sure.

The home was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and had easy access to all things east of Austin. The only recommendation I’d have for the owners, and this is nitpicking, is to install towel hooks closer to the shower in the master bath.

Hank and Taylor were exceptional in meeting all our requests. They even accommodated our need for an early check-in. The house perfectly suited our needs throughout our stay. If we visit the area again, we will definitely consider renting this location once more. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

Gosh! I just absolutely loved The Station and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Such a gem in such a fun town! I have always wanted to go to Smithville bc I am dorky and love the movie, Hope Floats. The Station is located just a few blocks from where the movie was filmed- so that was fun to see. My husband and I had just enough time for a quick, spontaneous getaway kid-free and I wanted to stay somewhere memorable- The Station provided just that! I wish we could have stayed longer! The entire vibe is so nostalgic! For all the foodies- Hope Floats diner is an absolutely must. The owner is so kind and all the locals are very welcoming! Great food + desserts! Comfort Cafe was a local diner that we were told by everyone that we must try- and they were all correct! I would drive an hour to just come eat there! They have such an awesome story and amazing service + the best pancakes I have ever had!!

Had a great stay at Flop Houze, already looking forward to my return. Took a dip in the pool, an afternoon nap in the hammock and listened to tunes on vinyl while relaxing by the campfire. Loved the decor and attention to detail. Matt was super easy to work with, as I had to change my reservation and quick to respond. We even made friends with the barn kitty 😻. Truly delightful stay!

Our stay at Ramona House in Smithville was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its beautifully renovated, minimalist design. It was the perfect escape from the city, offering plenty of space to relax and gather with family. The location is fantastic—within walking distance of great antique shops and a short drive to Bastrop and Buescher State Parks. The house is stylish yet cozy, with spacious bedrooms, comfy beds, and modern, roomy bathrooms. We loved cooking and grilling together, unwinding by the fire pit, and soaking in the cowboy hot tub. Grayson and Brooke are fantastic hosts who have created a welcoming retreat. If you’re visiting Round Top or the surrounding area, Ramona House is the perfect place to stay. You’ll feel right at home in this charming, historic gem!

The house was so nice. Beautiful decor and very comfortable. We totally enjoyed the relaxing space, from coffee on the back porch, to family in the pool during the day, cooking dinner and hanging out on the back porch again in the evening. Very beautiful house beautiful property lots of privacy. The beds were comfortable, the showers were amazing! I could go on and on. We will definitely be renting this again. Family favorite. Ruben was very nice.

The cottage was exactly as described. Very cool to stay around the corner from the Hope Floats house...and get to watch it while staying there this weekend. Hope to stay again this summer and enjoy the pool.

I have no complaints. The place was spotlessly clean and with all the amenities it listed. My room was very simple and basic with everything I needed. I had trouble communicating with Simon before arrival, though. I sent a couple of different messages through Airbnb, which said the usual response time was 3 hours. Those messages never got a response at all. Then I tried calling but the phone number that Airbnb lists had a full mailbox so I could not leave a message. Eventually, I saw a different phone number in a message I had gotten, I think from Simon, verifying my reservation. When I called it, I got an answer and great response that more than satisfied me. So it was just a matter of finding the right method of communication and then everything fell into place. As far as the stay, it was excellent and everything I needed it to be. If I return to Smithville again, I will be happy to stay there again.

Very comfortable place and tucked away with a few other cottages close by. You are definitely near a farm, which I liked, but the cow(s) were not heard inside. They had coffee but maybe some extras would be nice at least during the low season of Roundtop. Love that there were no TVs to be found in the cottage and got great sleep!

This is a beautiful home and a perfect setting for larger groups to smaller gatherings! We hosted a pre-wedding party for 20 people, and everyone from the 1-year-old to the 93-year-old enjoyed walking the spacious grounds, playing cornhole, plus splashing in the pool and hot tub. The multiple dining areas and well-stocked kitchen could handle our waffle bar brunch and BBQ lunch. The flexible house layout also allowed the little ones to have quiet rooms for naps. For the eight of us staying at the house, the living areas were cozy and inviting for animated games and conversation. Cathy was quick to respond to our questions, and she provided a terrific place for creating lasting memories. And the ranch is secluded enough that several from our party could watch a meteor shower from the front driveway.

Absolutely beautiful location located next to a state park with incredible views and wildlife. My group stayed for the Sherwood Forest Faire and it was extremely close, 25 minute drive. It’s close enough to Bastrop as well if you need groceries or Buc-ee’s. The king bed is in a loft which was very cozy and fun.

Place was great overall and had a lovely home feel to it.

Holy cow! What a beautiful space- inside and out! Valerie thought of everything! Easy check-in, peaceful area. The prettiest tiny home we’ve ever stayed in!!! VERY comfortable beds! Valerie even cleaned the outside chairs and tables of pollen, etc.! The decor is just absolutely lovely. Perfect base for a Painted Church tour! Most HIGHLY recommend!!!

I really enjoyed my stay here while working in Round Top. The location is private and idyllic and a quick drive to Round Top. The space is larger and even better in person. The bathroom is dreamy. No wifi or cable so be prepared to be a little “off grid”. There’s a great dvd collection though. Highly recommend staying here on any trip to Round Top.

This was our second time staying at Rachael’s place and it was awesome…again! It made our family gathering even more enjoyable. There was something for every age - from 5 to 90.

The cabin was perfect! Tiny, remote, quiet, surrounded by beauty, and had everything I needed for my stay. I travelled to the area to go the Round Top Antique shows, but made my plans last minute so was super glad to see that Eduardo had availability. The cabin was perfect, and the drive each day was easy. I really appreciate that Eduardo and Jose went out of the way to give really clear check in and arrival instructions. The loft was the perfect cozy spot to fall asleep and listen to the rain. The air conditioning worked well, as did the wi-fi. And the tiny kitchen was tiny but functional enough to cook a few small meals. Overall, it was perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend.

Place was great, no issues and the decor is awesome. Pretty decent place to stay for COTA so you can dodge (some) of the USGP traffic and get good value for one of the busiest weekends in Austin.

Our stay here was wonderful. The location was very convenient to Warrenton. We enjoyed being so close to where we like to shop for Antiques Week. It was easy to find and appointed with just what we needed. Rachael was a very responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She brought us ice to use for drinks and a wagon to use for shopping. She was a great host! I highly recommend this place for its location, responsive host and for the absolutely beautiful porch views!
