We book many Airbnbs and Heather’s worked out great! We went to hike New River Gorge NP and surrounding SP. Her home is very close to Canyon Rim Visitor Center and Thurmond Historic District. She is a little further from Grandview, and Sandstone Visitor Center, but, all are drivable and worth seeing. She provides excellent binders of hikes, waterfalls, and overlook tours. We felt at home in her duplex. We were able to cook meals and enjoyed watching the birds out the kitchen window. Heather provided all the kitchen and bathroom necessities. She was very responsive when we had a couple of questions and even stopped by when we asked her. It was nice to meet her. If you are looking for a practical and comfortable place to stay that is convenient to a host of activities, this should work for you. We highly recommend and would stay here again. We enjoyed our stay in Fayetteville. The place was great for our family, 2 adults and 4 children. It was clean and kitchen had nice utensils and amenities. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. It was fairly close to town and some hiking trails. We would stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. If we are coming this way again, we will definitely stay here.

Loved the Willow Treehouse! Lesley and Donnie were incredibly friendly and very responsive for any questions. This great place was so cozy and very clean. Exactly what we were looking for. All the kitchen pieces we needed and plenty of extra linens. We loved the heated bathroom floor! We are already planning our next trip back to the New River Gorge and we will most definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home. We loved the view from the porch. The house was conveniently located near New River Gorge National Park. We appreciated the local food recommendations the host provided. The kitchen was also very well-stocked. After long days of hiking we enjoyed coming back to relax in this cozy home. We hope to be back someday!

Perfect location! Peaceful and surrounded by woods while close enough to drive into Fayetteville and sample all the local restaurants. Colleen was very responsive and able to answer all of our questions.

We had a wonderful stay at the Keller cottage! We visit the New River Gorge a few times a year to go rock climbing and have stayed in multiple AirBnBs in the Fayetteville area. I have to say that the Keller cottage is definitely one of the nicest places where we have stayed! The home is very close to the center of Fayetteville, and is an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The cottage was spotlessly clean and looked just like the photos. Christy was a great host. She was proactive and very helpful. We will definitely plan on staying here again the next time we visit!

This is a nice place. Everything was very clean and nicely stocked. The town is a 10 minute walk and has some restaurants worth visiting. The house is about a half mile from the Park Loop Trail into the national park, and a short drive to lots of other trailheads at the park as well as one of the visitor centers. We were staying to hike the park and find some good meals, and this was the perfect place for that.

Clean and comfortable. Liked the bedroom with no windows because we like to sleep in darkness and the beds were comfortable. Also, like the covered parking because it allowed us to unload and load in the bad weather. The snacks and drinks the host provided was nice to curb a craving. There are small steps throughout which the host advised us to watch out for to avoid tripping. Place was convenient for visiting friends.

Rebecca's apartment has been the best Airbnb I've stayed in thus far! The rooms are spotless and airy, the thoughtful amenities were incredibly useful, and the apartment was well-decorated and comfortable. Rebecca's communication was great and we had no trouble finding the apartment or locating anything in the house. We loved the location and thought everything was charming and well-thought out. Thank you so much for hosting us and for putting so much care in maintaining this lovely space!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

Our guests that we put in here while they were visiting us really enjoyed their stay. It was very nice and cozy. And Brandie was very responsive and helpful. We already have made reservations for some of our friends visiting soon.

we had a great stay

We visited the New River Royal Gorge National Park and other surrounding sites but wanted to stay out of the busier Charleston and Berkeley areas. Jim’s place was the perfect spot to be. We were in an apartment right beside the Kanawha River. The unit was modest but had everything we needed and was very quiet. Great spot.

OMG!!! Rosy’s place is absolutely AMAZING! It’s beautiful, cozy, clean and close to everything. Our main reason for visiting the area was New River Gorge NP. It was very convenient and super close to several of the park entrances. Rosy was a wonderful host and always available to share suggestions for us. She has gone above and beyond and thought of everything to make her guests’ stay enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here. If we are back in the area again, we will definitely stay with Rosy!

This cute apartment is the perfect location for visiting New River Gorge and other beautiful parks in the area. It is also within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
