I spent a weekend exploring Guimarães and Braga and stayed at Cristina's place. While it's not in the city centre, the location is peaceful and conveniently close, making it easy to reach the historic heart of Guimarães within minutes. The house is charming, well-equipped, and provides all the advertised amenities. I highly recommend it!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The view was breathtaking, and the garden was simply beautiful—a peaceful oasis where we could relax and enjoy nature. The house itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our host was the most wonderful and hospitable person we could have asked for. She greeted us with fresh croissants and wine, making us feel truly special. Every morning, she brought us fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful and delightful touch. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway with stunning views, exceptional hospitality, and a cozy, modern home, this is the place for you! Highly recommended!

Amazing ! This was everyone we hoped it would be. Such lovely little touches in the home to make it feel very special. Kitchen has all the amenities. It was a treat to have a comfortable king size bed with good linens . And the view ; it was everything you could ask for. Whether sitting on the balcony or looking out the large window from the bed- it was truly spectacular! We found ourselves content just to sit and listen to the church bells and take in the view. It was a short walk to the famous bridge as well as the lovely serine river path. The oldest bakery was a lovely stroll away, as were other bakeries and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly kind , helpful and responsive 👍🏼! If we ever go to Portugal again, we’ll plan our trip around this Airbnb!

Great place with everything you need for a family vacation. We loved the large garden and pool. The house has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. Maria and her husband were very friendly! We would love to stay there again

Avec le logement proposé par Rosa, nous ne sommes pas loin d'avoir atteint la perfection : dès l'arrivée, dans le logement, il y a de nombreuses petites attentions bien agréables. Ensuite, rien de manque dans l'agencement et l'approvisionnement de la cuisine. Dans les autres pièces, même constat et, en plus,on n'est jamais à l'etroit. Tout est merveilleusement entretenu. Et que dire de cette double douche qui a été particulièrement appréciée. Nous ne pouvons que fortement recommander ce logement au bord de la ville dans une ambiance de village.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison, le jardin est superbe avec ses oranges délicieuses. Les lits sont nombreux et ont permis à la famille de trouver sa place sans se marcher dessus. La cuisine est grande et agréable.

Antonio is an excellent host. He patiently waited for us for over an hour as we were delayed. He personally showed us the apartment and it's amenities. The apartment is clearly a labour of love. It is very well maintained. The rooms are large, the kitchen is great and the bathrooms are spotlessly clean. It is located at walking distance from all major historical places. With Antonio's responsiveness and personal touch, we could not have asked for more.

Fácil comunicación con el anfitrión. Nos facilitó la llegada y respondía bastante rápido. Piso en muy buenas condiciones y limpio.

La estancia en casa de Abi y Regina ha sido fantástica. El apartamento dispone de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días y nos hemos sentido como en casa. Es una casa preciosa e intima ideal para descansar y desconectar. Los alrededores de la finca son una maravilla. Nada mas llegar, Regina nos hizo una visita para conocer todo el lugar y pudimos ver sus huertos y comer unas mandarinas que estaban muy ricas. Esa noche asistimos a un espectáculo de linterna mágica que Abi y Regina ofrecieron a unos estudiantes internacionales y al día siguiente el propio Abi nos hizo una visita por el museo que tienen en la finca. Escuchar las explicaciones de Abi y hacer un recorrido por su vida y obra y la de Regina fue un privilegio. Ver tanta pasión en lo que hacen ha sido un regalo maravilloso. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en esta casa, realmente es un lujo poder vivir en un lugar tan inspirador y bonito. Ya estamos deseando volver a pasar unos días aquí!

Wer eine ruhige und komfortable Unterkunft sucht, sehr nahe an Guimaraes Zentrum, dem kann ich Carlas Haus absolut empfehlen. Wenn wir vorher gewusst hätten, wie schön das Haus ist, dann hätten wir es als unseren Standort gewählt, von dem aus Porto, Braga und andere Städte bequem zu besuchen sind. Absolut empfehlenswert

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

Realmente o local é maravilhoso, tem facil acceso até a piscina jacuzzi, e o sauna. falta se calhar alguma indicação da utilização dos mesmos, mas nada que tenha sido complicado ou impossível. o quarto fenomenal! A casa de banho e cozinha muito limpos. Em geral um excelente lugar para descontrair.

As a family with a lot of teens, I loved how many spaces this house had for hanging out. Also, having so many rooms with two single beds instead of shared beds is so nice when you have a lot of teens along. The outdoor spaces are so beautiful and peaceful and the yard is full of plants and flowers. We enjoyed the ease to reach Guimarães. We would happily return to this lovely home.

Hemos estado alojados 4 días. Nos costó un poco encontrar el sitio porque hay varios lugares que se llaman igual por la zona, pero en cuanto les llamamos por teléfono nos dieron todas las facilidades para llegar allí y fue una acogida muy cálida y agradable. Abilio y su familia son muy amables y han estado pendientes en todo momento. La casa es muy cómoda y está cerca de sitios turísticos para visitar: Braga, Guimaraes, valença… por la noche, en julio, nos hizo fresco, pero estuvimos fenomenal.

Tive o prazer de passar um fim de semana maravilhoso nesta casa e a experiência foi incrível. A casa é simplesmente linda, com uma decoração impecável e todas as comodidades que poderíamos desejar. O ambiente é espetacular, rodeado pela tranquilidade que procurávamos para relaxar e recarregar as energias. Cada detalhe foi pensado para garantir um fim de semana confortável e sem preocupações. Recomendo vivamente para quem procura um refúgio sossegado e de qualidade. Voltarei com certeza!😊

We had a wonderful time in Portugal, and Antonio's place was a perfect base for our day trips. The house was lovely with lots of space and beautiful decor. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. The gardens had lots to explore, and fruit trees and a vegetable patch. Our children loved the house and we all had lots to do, including a playroom with loads of toys, dozens of boardgames, and just really nice spots to sit and read. Antonio was super friendly, very easily contactable, very quick to respond, and gave us lots of nice suggestions. We've had an amazing time at his amazing family home!

Logement difficile à trouver ne ce trouve pas exactement à Celorico de Basto mais à 15min du centre ville , hôte réactif,elle est venu directement me retrouver et m'amener au logement. Sonia est très gentille et au petit soin, elle parle parfaitement français. Maison parfaite , très belle avec tous ce qu'il faut. Grande piscine. Super séjour

Casa de Eira war ein tolles Ferien Ziel. Wir hatten in der nähe des Hauses eine Hochzeit von Freunden und daher war die Lage ideal. Mit dem Pool und dem Grillplatz konnten wir die Tage geniessen und entspannen. Es lief alles reibungslos ab. Gerne wieder!

A casa proporcionou-nos um ótimo fim-de-semana de amigos! Os anfitriões foram muito prestáveis e atenderam aos nossos pedidos, nomeadamente disponibilizar mais um berço. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Gracelina! Uma experiência a repetir ☺️
