Wow this is the place to book in Guimarães! We are a family with two children ages 10 and 1 year and stayed for 2 nights. The apartment is exactly as described and very comfortable. The view of the city is unparalleled. Jorge’s hospitality is the best I have ever experienced. I could go on and on but just trust me and the other reviewers, book this apartment if it’s available!! You are in for a treat.

O apartamento muito agradável, lugar tranquilo, bastante espaçoso. A unica coisa que nao me agradou foram as escadas. Cozinha bem equipada, estivemos uma estadia excelente, obrigada Dona Fatima.

Correspondeu integralmente às minhas expectativas e o espaço é exatamente como consta das fotos. A casa tem as comodidades e eletrodomésticos necessários e essenciais. A zona é calma e tranquila e fica perto do centro da cidade. A estadia foi muito agradável.

Fernando was a great host, he was very communicative and helpful. The house was exactly like we saw in the pictures. Thank you Fernando for the relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed here for a few days. The house was nicely prepared, even with Wine and Snacks, so it was easy for us to feel like home. We stayed here at the end of October, so it was very quiet and we could use and fully enjoy the pool, the paddel court and the area with the animals (horses, donkey and various birds). In casa Fumeiro the bedrooms were rater small but came with very comfortable beds. The communication was easy, which made the stay pleasant as well. We would say, that a car is needed if you want get there, do shopping or explore the area. All in all we were really happy with our choice!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

A casa do Murilo é ótima, muito confortável e bem equipada. À vista da casa é desafogada e muito bonita. Otimo retiro para quem quer estar num lugar calmo em plena natureza. Murilo foi sempre muito comunicativo e auxiliou em tudo o que necessitamos. Atenção só para quem tem carros baixos e elétricos. Os últimos metros são em terra batida com alguns buracos pelo que se tiver um carro muito baixo pode bater no chão. Carregamento elétrico é difícil na zona. Em Celorico há um carregador mas muito lento. Bons carregadores só em Fafe, Guimarães e Braga. Na casa não é possível carregar. Recomendamos a casa para quem quiser passar uma férias tranquilas no campo com todas as comodidades. O forno a lenha e a salamandra funcionam lindamente.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Leyre. Ce lieu est magnifique, joliment arboré. Les instructions envoyées avant l'arrivée sont très claires et détaillées. La maison est magnifique et bien équipée. Propreté parfaite. Wifi rapide. Parfait pour les familles avec enfants (jouets + chaise haute bébé + lit bébé à disposition). Animaux acceptés. Cinéma en extérieur possible. 2 chambres sur 5 et la maison annexe ont l'air conditionnée. La piscine, bien qu'un peu difficile d'accès, est parfaite en été. La décoration et les équipements mis à disposition (canapés, tables, espace cuisine avec barbecue et frigo, bouées, chaises longues...) rendent ce lieu top. Nous avions décidé de louer ce lieu pour réaliser un petit mariage intimiste en famille. C'était parfait. Sr Fernando nous a été d'une grande aide. Les propriétaires étaient charmants. Nous recommendons ce lieu.

Our stay was great, the apartment had just been renovated recently so the decor and finishes were all new and looked nice. The apartment is in a great location, very walkable to everything. Would recommend to anyone visiting Porto for a few days.

Lovely apartment. Very well equipped and clean. Very spacious for a large party. Excellent location, close to Porto’s attractions. Ricardo was very helpful, organising airport transfers, early check in and late check out. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay - located close to the centre, but not noisy. Nice big apartment The hosting was super helpful, very responsive and friendly, gave us lots of tips of nearby things to do. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed exploring Porto. So much history. We didn’t need our vehicle as we were able to walk everywhere. Luis had great recommendations for places to see and eat at. Luis spoke English very well so we found communication easy. Very spacious accommodation and we felt very safe. Luis recommended Pingo Doce grocery market about a 7 minute walk. Found it very clean and all we needed for our stay. My husband and I would definately return to Luis’s place overlooking the Duoro River. Beautiful.

Comfortable apartment with all the basics plus a washer and dryer—much needed after 10 days of travel! Short walk to beach and metro stop. Lidl and Continente close by as well as many small markets. We enjoyed exploring Matosinhos and trying local restaurants and pastelarias. Some great little museums too. Fernando was a kind and patient host who made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this AirBnb stay.

Very spacious, comfortable and clean unit. Nice crockery and good cooking facilities. Air-conditioning to keep comfortable. Close to Campanha train stn but uphill. Can walk down town if you wish on about 20 mins or take Uber usually less than 4 - 5 euro depending on time of day. Lidl supermarket is close by as is a couple restaurants either up or down hill.

Liu-Qi is a great host. His instructions were perfect. The location superb. Thanks Liu-Qi, you have a great place, clean and well equiped and central. Hopefully we get to come back to Porto and stay at your place again. Highly recommend!
