Had an amazing time with the family. Was a good start to the new year relaxing and enjoying the scenery and walking along the river. Highly recommend no wake zone and would definitely return.

I traveled all the way from Maine to the cabin. I was in town for a local truck event and thankfully the cabin was SUPER close by. It was very easy to find with the directions they provided. Unfortunately I was at the show most of my stay but I thankfully did get to enjoy the hot tub!! When I arrived after my 18+ hour drive it was all up and running ready to enjoy that was a HUGE bonus! The house was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I reached out to see if I was able to use the hose to wash my truck and they were very accommodating with that which saved me a huge headache of finding a car wash LOL there is talk of another event in the fall, I know where I’ll be staying again!!

Amazing place to stay in such a great area. The cabin & amenities were very nice. Pictures don’t do it justice. Host was very helpful and great with communication. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Great place to get away. The horses were amazing and the views are breath taking in the morning. The cabin was so cozy and perfect for us and our pups.

I enjoyed staying at The Honey Hut! Kim is a genuine host and I very much appreciated the hospitality over the holiday. This is a natural small cabin getaway yet still has amenities. It’s a five minute drive to Honey Creek Overlook for a fantastic view without the hard hike, or if you want the challenge, also next to the Honey Creek Loop Trailhead. I’ll be back to try the hike and stay again. The sunrise off the back porch and sunset from the front yard were very pretty this time of year too.

Perfect cabin for a family visiting the area. We came here to hike in Big South Fork national park. We had our dog with us as well. Very nice fenced in backyard and screened in porch to hang out. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again!

My family had a great time. We did early Christmas and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. Comfortable beds.

The place was beautiful and the cabin was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you want to go off grid. Scott is very laid back and makes you feel at home.

Red Oaks Retreat was the perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to catch up over the weekend. We loved the large kitchen that was well stocked to cook our meals and made good use of the game room upstairs. The attention to small details did not go unnoticed, but my favorite part was the immaculate soft yummy beds! Thank you Becky and Don. Hope to be back again next year.
