My family chose to stay in Rebecca’s home during the weekend of Ironman 70.3 NC and it was the perfect choice! The house and backyard are beautiful and the house was spotless. Rebecca was incredibly communicative, easy to get a hold of, and seemed to think of everything to make us feel welcome & at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking both nights we were there. We had an awesome time hanging out back on the patio, cold plunging in the pool (in October), and relaxing in the hot tub. Would 100% stay here again and the area/experience had us thinking about how to get down to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach more!

We loved our stay at Diana’s place! Her home was perfect for our family and provided plenty of things to do to settle in for a long weekend inside and outside of the home. We really enjoyed the playrooms close proximity to the kitchen/living room. Her home was well thought out for all ages!

This was a wonderful place to stay at! So many great places near by to eat and was walkable. Stephanie was so much help for everything and was quick to respond back always. Me and my family had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to everyone! 🥳

This place was amazing! The pool was beautiful and great for our family. We always take our dogs on vacation and the fenced in back yard was awesome. The ping pong table, foosball table and games kept us busy as well. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely come back next time we are Wilmington. Great place for families and dogs.

2nd summer vacation at Caroline’s home and I cannot recommend it enough. The house is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels, spotless bathrooms and a large kitchen/dining/living area that’s great to hang out, cook and relax in. And that’s just the inside of the house. The pool and back porch are amazing. As a family traveling with young kids, I just can’t emphasize how much time we spend hanging out in the pool and on the porch. It really makes our vacation to have this awesome feature to enjoy while we are visiting beautiful Wilmington. Caroline is an excellent and responsive host. Communication is seamless and when the only issue during our stay arose (broken dryer), she responded immediately, had a repairman at the house the same day and even took our wet clothes to her home to dry them. She goes above and beyond. I wish I could stay at this house every time I travel! 10 out of 10.

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had a large group of 12 people and everyone had plenty of room and there were many things in the house to keep the group entertained (many TV’s, pool table, swimming pool, and the awesome fire pit with swing chairs around it). Alex was an awesome host and responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. We all enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

Great location with the public beach access close by, canal across the street and walking distance to putt putt and the pier. Heather was so kind!

Great location on Oak Island. The house and neighbourhood is perfect and peaceful. The hosts are very responsive and I will be going back. The beds are really comfortable and the pool is perfect. We will be going back!

Great location and a wonderful home for a medium sized group. It was slightly overkill for my wife, daughter and I, but offseason, met our needs perfectly. My main notes are around food: 1) the stove is powerful, so easy does it 2) Even offseason, the local restaurants can get booked up quickly 3) don't miss the gardens on the water nearby. 4) There were a few stuck in crumbs on plates in the cupboard - they had gone through the dishwasher, but hadn't been rinsed before they went so weren't spotless. Nothing a little rinsing before use couldn't fix.

The place was perfect for a weekend trip to the beach! Close to the beach, great outdoor space, and well stocked! Would definitely visit again.

My daughter & I really enjoyed our stay. The house is gorgeous and had that clean, new construction smell. Very spacious and comfortable, with nice tall ceilings. Big windows allowed a lot of natural light. Fenced in back yard was great for our Doodle. Only issue was with our 2 small pups, both Pomeranians. They fit between the fence posts and got out so we had to improvise. Not a big deal. Just something to be aware of if you have small pups. The home being pet friendly was great for us. The bedrooms are nice, beds are comfortable and both bathrooms are gorgeous. The linens smelled amazing! So fresh & clean. So much so, that I need to find out what they use so I can start using it myself at home! Tankless water heater was a nice surprise! Neighbors are friendly. Across the street is wooded, which is nice. So quiet and peacful, which I appreciated. Lonnie was a great host. He always responded quickly. He was friendly, helpful, and accomodating. I look forward to staying here again!

LuAnne’s place was absolutely beautiful! The home is completely furnished with everything we needed, kitchen is fully equipped, and the entire home is immaculate. We enjoyed the decks and view our entire stay. Short walk to the beach and to a few local restaurants. I would highly recommend LuAnne’s home and our family would love to return. She was responsive during our entire vacation.

Rachel’s place was in the perfect location, right in the middle of great restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and beach bars. The photos did not do the house justice - it is even more beautiful in person with great homey touches and a cozy vibe. The balconies overlooking the marina was perfect and serene, and the walk to the beach was very short and doable. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

A Wave From It All was a perfect vacation. The views and house are pristine, peaceful, and clean. The accommodations perfectly housed 8 of us. The screened in Carolina Room offered plenty of seating and beautiful views. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and spices for cooking and beautiful dinnerware for entertaining. We loved the decor…it was kind of unique romantic-gothic-coastal-Victorian (I know a mouthful but if you see it you get it). It looked as though the owners had made it a hobby to collect beautiful original pieces of art. The house has a dock that we utilized for fishing, crabbing, floating, and kayaking. Under the house there are two kayaks, a paddle board, floats, chairs, skim boards and boogie boards. You can walk, bike, or golf cart anywhere. The hosts were by far the kindest and most thoughtful we have ever experienced. They offered excellent restaurant recommendations. 10/10 recommend!!! The island is beautiful.

B By the Sea is a wonderful place for enjoying a visit to Bald Head-it is close to beaches ( 1 mile), the Bald Head Island Club- just under 2 miles, The Market, and the Ferry! The home is spacious, clean, and ready to use as a home base for many fun activities or to relax. We were delighted to find a lagoon in the cul de sac that had many turtles, fish, egrets, and even a small alligator!

Third time staying at Alice's and we always have a great time!! We keep coming back for the excellent value and location. Great home with everything we need. Look forward to another stay soon!

Even though we only stayed for one night, it was a beautiful quiet location, and it was close to everything I needed and more.

Little House on the Beach was everything we had hoped for. The home was just the right size for my husband and me with our two small dogs. The furniture, two rockers on porch and the beds were VERY comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked of any vacation home we've ever rented, both in kitchenware and pots along with all the basics.....dish soap, spices, hand towels, etc. But the highlight of this home is the back deck and view. Soooo very relaxing as you watch the waves and the birds with all the natural ocean sounds . And incredible sunsets and sunrises. I love that you walk down the back steps and are on the beach and that the beach itself is very peaceful with people playing with their dogs or collecting shells. No loud music or crowds. Would highly recommend this home and hope to come back next year.

3rd time staying with S&L but 1st time at this property and my children and I LOVED it. Right away they loved the vibe, scent, lighting, cleanliness, and the second bathroom had a fancy light!!! We will be back for sure!!!

The home was comfortable and inviting with a great view of the Sound and only a block from the beach. It was exactly what we needed for a short getaway and some R&R.

Awesome place close to the beach. Ashley’s place is very clean and has everything you and your dogs need! There are tons of things to do within the area and Southport is only a 10 min drive.

We had a great time at Kristie’s place for our family vacation. It comfortably fit 6 adults and 3 children. The small private suite downstairs was perfect for my parents who like a little extra privacy. The private pool was a god send with small children and also well maintained. The space was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect . Lots to do and plenty of delicious restaurants. I don’t think we drove more than 5 mins all week. The beach is beautiful and clean and located close to the house. There are other public beach locations super close as well if you didn’t want to walk. I’d absolutely recommend and would come back. Wow. Probably the nicest airbnb I’ve ever been to. The house is pure luxury with every amenity included. Coffee, cream, soap, shampoo, snacks, fruit, you name it. The pool is out of a magazine and I couldn’t believe it was all ours. The house is in an excluded gated community about 12 minutes to the beach. We will be back next year without a doubt. We had such a blast.
