An amazing location, on the coral coast of Fiji. Quiet and remote, a few meters from the beach. Good for walking around the coast, and exploring the south side of Vitu Levu. I can only recommend this place, if you are looking for a place to stay on the coral coast. Great local hosts, very friendly and helpful. Thank you for hosting us. We really loved our stay and hope to return again some day. The people are so loving and even with our very late arrival, we were still welcome with open arms. The care taker Wilma was amazing and even with our short sat we fill like she is family.

This location is absolutely incredible. The private beach and direct access to an essentially private snorkeling reef and kayaking/swimming area was unbeatable. I wasn't quite sure from the photos and description what it would be like. The home is comfortable with three bedrooms. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Our younger children decided to sleep on the upstairs couches instead of downstairs. Ben is a very gracious host, and Abdul is a fabulous captain. We enjoyed a few hours at 7th Heaven and there is a snorkeling reef on the way where we were going to stop but it was too rough then. We stopped at the local market. Really just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. two things guests should be aware of is the drinking water must be bottled.only, and there is no dock. Ben and Abdul were very helpful with our things and I told the kids we were getting an authentic Fijian experience! I give 5 stars for this unique and beautiful location and hospitality

We had a wonderful 13days stay at this beautiful home. Sunil greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. its a home away from home fully air-conditioned bedrooms and lounge room, dryer, washers, iron , well equipped kitchen, large sitting area. place is secured and safe with a fence and automated gate. had Netflix and YouTube and unlimited WiFi. Very clean and safe place. Had garden on the side we picked some chillies , curry leaves and Kumquat. Sunil was a very responsive host and he's ready to help us when we need assistance. We had some relatives over and he was ok with it. We loved staying here. He was the best host. Definitely we will book again for our next trip to Fiji. Vinaka Sunil

What a delightfully surprising stay in Denarau, Fiji. This place is highly recommended. We really didn't know what we were booking until we arrived and we were honestly shocked we got so lucky with this absolutely wonderful stay. Really can't recommend this place enough. Everything was super easy, convenient, and efficient. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and bring along family and friends to share the joy, relaxation, beautiful views, friendly faces, delicious food, and so much more. 15/10 would recommend.

Such a wonderful space. A beautiful ocean view on a sand beach. the property is lush with many types of plants and grasses but very well maintained. Listening to the ocean crashing on the beach with the birds calling to each other while the frogs rumble out their welcome every evening is a wonderful way to wake in the morning. The pool is immaculate but the sea and long sandy shore is the big draw. The family is warm and welcoming. The home is a large studio with a lofted ceiling. There are windows with screens on every side to make use of the breeze and light. The extensive use of wood and art make the home feel cozy and very textured. The wrap around porch invites you to just hang out. There is a convenient outdoor shower so you don’t track sand into the house. This is simply a slice of paradise.

This was the perfect place to regroup on our final days of a 5 week trip through the South Pacific. Being able to cook and just relax in the pool was awesome.

Staying there was a real treat, super comfy and spotless. The host's communication was top-notch, always quick to reply. Felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Everything was just right, making our trip even better. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place. So glad we chose to stay there, it truly felt like a home away from home. A perfect experience overall.

i’ve stayed in many airbnbs over the years, this was quite possibly the best i have ever stayed in. Jason is the most phenomenal host, beyond standard communication he had so much incredible knowledge of the island - even names of some of the locals !! he was constantly in contact, constantly recommending things to do - the best host i’ve experienced on this app. on top of that - the photos do not even come close to doing this place justice. no matter what door or window you open, absolutely spectacular views in every direction and this place accommodates for that, you can open up almost every single inch of the ouch to be completely immersed in the wonderful scenery Savusavu offers. on top of this, the housekeeper and her husband (by offer from Jason) even picked me up from the airport, the loveliest people i’ve ever met. Nora is a ray of sunshine and the most welcoming person. i wish i could rate this place higher. massive shout out to Jason for clearly caring for his guests!

We spent 5 nights at Worldmark/Wyndham Resort Denarau Island and it was so beautiful! It is on the strip of beach with lots of other lovely resorts and you are free to visit all resorts. The pool at Wydnham is beautiful and the sunset ceremonies were idillic! We had a pool side oceanfront one bedroom apartment and it was fully equipped and self-contained. Sanford was ever so friendly in correspondence and made the booking process very straight forward. He tried his best to give us the best apartment for our stay and succeeded! Thanks Sanford, and we will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the Villa! Everything was perfect, very clean and comfortable, million dollar view from the deck and the pool was great to cool off and enjoy the view. It's a short walk to town for restaurants and shopping all very near by. We will definitely be back again!

This place is absolutely incredible. My wife and I stayed here for our 10th Anniversary vacation and it was everything we wanted it to be. Breathtaking location, a perfect living space, wonderful people, and a lot of fun activities. The food at the resort is amazing, and the entire staff makes you feel like you're part of the family from the moment you arrive. Amy was super helpful and communicative, and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing experience staying at Sere Ni Ika. The location is perfect and the house itself has everything you need. The housekeeper, Loata, and her family were beautiful hosts and looked after our every need during our stay (including cleaning the house, changing the beds, doing our laundry). Loata cooked some lovely Fijian meals for us and helped to organise unique experiences for us (like cooking a traditional lovo!). Would definitely recommend staying at Sere Ni ika - we will be returning for sure!

Spacious and comfy house in a great location, close to reataurants and resorts for food and drinks options. 10mn drive to Sigatoka and 10mn walk to a nice little coffee shop. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating to our requests and would recommend.

What a wonderful place! You have the eagle eyes view of the beach and ocean. Both side of the house have lovely beach. We caught lots of land crabs and shore crabs with the kids together. Eliki and Seni were very helpful and Seni's dinner cooking was definitely the first choice.

We are a family of four adults living across three continents. We travel extensively and often use Airbnb, and Chris's house is truly one of the best we've ever stayed in! It’s simply amazing. The house combines all modern amenities (e.g., each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom, a fantastic coffee machine in the kitchen, etc.) with the charm of a tropical paradise, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities. The highlight is the stunning veranda with its breathtaking view—calm blue seas and unforgettable sunsets. From the backyard, you have access to your own small beach, where you can step straight into crystal-clear waters and explore a private coral reef. The snorkeling here was some of the best I’ve ever experienced! We also enjoyed excellent scuba diving at the nearby Rainbow Reef, which is easily accessible from the island. There’s a top-notch dive shop just 20 minutes away from Chris's house. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time in Nabukeru. The people there are incredibly warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, even though it was similar most of the days. Unfortunately, as a vegan, there wasn’t much to eat besides rice. It’s definitely not a luxurious place, but if you’re looking for an authentic experience in a Fijian village, you’ll have an amazing time here. Misi was a wonderful host—very helpful and always doing his best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. However, the main activities in the area, such as snorkeling, hiking, and visiting the caves, come at an small additional cost. The only sad part of our stay was the condition of the dogs on the island. Many were worryingly thin and had open wounds, which was heartbreaking to see. While we understand that the locals don’t have much, it was still upsetting to witness how the animals were treated. The most distressing moment was seeing someone from the island repeatedly hitting a dog with a coconut.

Stayed 2 weeks with family of 5 (8, 10, 13). Absolutely gorgeous location. Caretaker family made us feel very welcome with unexpected treats. Having sampled a few of the eating establishments in Savusavu you could do worse than coming to a private arrangement for Maopa to provide meals for you! The wild pig curry (trapped by Joe) was succulent and delicious. Kayaks saw a lot of use, kids loved chasing crabs, beach combing and walking out at low tide to discover the marine life. I was glad to have kitted everyone out with diving gloves because the kids can and will pick up anything and everything!! If you are prepared to walk out at low tide (aqua socks recommended) you can see so much coral and fish snorkelling off the point. The water is beautiful and warm, and you can still do everything even when it's raining as the rain is lovely and warm. The caretaker family has friendly dogs who will keep you company as you wander up and down the beach, cats, goats, pigs, chickens and a rooster I couldn't quite warm to as he insisted on crowing at inconvenient times 😉 The kids got into feeding the pigs all the organic waste, and I think everyone felt a wrench at leaving Scrappy behind. Waikona is a lovely place to stay and we will have fond memories of our time in Fiji. Note that this is the tropics, and that means there will be bugs. We had all the doors open to catch the beautiful breeze, but you'll want to close everything up before you turn on the lights inside. Turn off all lights at night and all will be well. Personal repellent a must. There is also no wifi at the house, best to get a local sim and data from town (about 7FJD / week) Also, be advised there is no taxi rank outside Savusavu airport, so best to contact Joe to arrange a taxi beforehand as it gets tricky to nab one given there's no single number to call for taxis. Waikona is about 30min away from Savusavu by car, so hiring a car is advised also. We used James Rental and can recommend it

Vunadaka homestay was what we expected or even better because of friendly family running the place. Bungalow is very simple, island style ,like all other homestays in Yasawas. Beach is very good. Better than you can see in here. But, we miss the family allready so much. Best hosts ever. Thank you very very much for taking us to your home and daily Fijian life. Thank you for fishing and cave trips and driving us everywhere by boat. All the best to you Terry, Eddie and all the family.
