The lakehouse was clean and very comfortable. It was so cozy using the pellet stove for heat and the house has a lot of natural light. I felt very relaxed staying here and slept well at night. The views of the lake are stunning, especially down at the dock. Our kids enjoyed going down to watch the sun rise and we enjoyed a campfire one evening as a family. Everything you need to know is clearly stated beforehand (like there being a lot of steep steps to get down to the lake and needing to bring your own drinking water), so there are no surprises. I appreciate the hosts providing so much important information up front so we didn’t have any issues or questions during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

We stayed at Anchors Away with our family in July. We loved it so much we came back to celebrate our anniversary in September. There are so many reasons to love this home.....starting with Mike and Danielle being great hosts~everything is organized and clearly communicated. The house is charming and thoughtfully decorated. It is functional in every way. We cooked or grilled each night and ate dinner on the huge porch overlooking the lake. We kayaked (with kayaks provided in their shed) each morning and ended our evening with a campfire on the lake. Rent this one! You will be so happy you did.

Great getaway on the lake, the view was better than most of the wineries in the area.

My family had a great time at this lakeside cottage. We had three generations of family stay. Our expectations were set at the outset that this is was a no frills traditional family cottage. It is important to read the description so you know what you are getting. The lake was wonderful with kayaks and a dock for swimming. The area is quiet and there is no road noise. Our 80 year old parents had no problems navigating the stairs to the lake but they are in good shape. There were a few sitting areas in the house for relaxing and reading. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. There was plenty of cooking gear and a table that seats six. There were some basic spices (we left some red pepper flakes) but if you want specific or any condiments, you need to bring them.

Tim and Molly’s Airbnb was everything we needed! Great location, clean, great amenities. The Airbnb was easy to find and centrally located to Geneva. Easy check in, had everything we needed and more. We had such a great time in the finger lakes and would certainly stay here again! Thank you so much!

Great getaway on the lake, the view was better than most of the wineries in the area.

We had an amazing time visiting the Finger Lakes. Pauline's boat house was so cozy. Being located right on the lake was a huge plus. We enjoyed coffee every morning lakeside under the sun. Pauline was very kind and responsive. We would definitely return to the boathouse! Thank you very much Pauline!

Denise's house was easy to find, checkin was very smooth, and she was very responsive and communicative. The house was clean, cozy, and warm. Just a few things to note for future guests that were not an issue for us, but could be for other groups -- the stairs to the second floor are quite steep and the layout is railroad style, meaning you have to walk through the first floor master bedroom to get to the upstairs bedrooms and there is no door to the master. You get the address for the place the day before and it is not walkable to Skaneateles -- again, not an issue for us, but worth noting for future guests.

Kari's bungalow was the perfect place for me to stay as I helped my daughter move to Ithaca. We appreciated the privacy and the peaceful neighborhood. A well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook and eat meals, while enjoying the backyard view and abundant birdlife. The bed is comfortable and the sitting room cozy. The bungalow, inside and out, is charming and artistic. Kari graciously accommodated our last-minute schedule changes. She was friendly and responsive. I hope to be back in the bungalow when I visit my daughter again.

Stacy and her father were amazing. I actually arrived in the middle of a snow storm. They were accommodating and wonderful. I think they know how appreciative I was :). Fresh eggs, fruit and milk where supplied. The puppy did was adorable. Warm Regards, Elizabeth
