Tolle Unterkunft, Snacks und Getränke als Willkommensgruß im Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, sowohl Küche als auch Badezimmer! Fantastischer Ausblick auf Fjord und Berge. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Flott leilighet med en nydelig utsikt og fantastisk vertskap.

Olin toista kertaa Arnen majoituksessa ja edelleen erittäin tyytyväinen. Hyvät lähimäet vapaalaskuun ja helposti autolla ja lautalla Lyngenin ja Uløyan puolelle. Keittiöstä löytyy kaikki tarvittava, peitot ja tyynyt ovat hyvät. Ja erityismaininta hajusteettomista tiskiaine, saippua jne. Kåfjordin alueelle tullessa majoitumme ehdottomasti täällä.

We felt just like at home, Jon and Karen are very welcoming and made their best to make our stay the cosiest. They even went out of their way to shovel away the path to their lávvu and decorated it so we could settle in and have a peaceful evening tea inside it. Our stay in Sápmi was memorable thanks to them :)

Fantastisk opphold! Anbefales! Bodde i 3 uker. Ren og fin leilighet i bra standard. Hadde akkurat det man trenger og litt til. Stille og rolig område. Gangavstand til butikk, men et stykke å gå til sentrum. Tusen takk til Jack og Tina for et herlig opphold, og for god hjelp underveis.

A beautiful flat with spectacular views over fjord. Everything is same as the photos, well equipped kitchen with a filter coffee machine. Very nearby to the city centre. Saw northern lights twice just outside the flat and had smashing sunset views sitting from the couch. Would definitely recommend and cant wait to visit again.

Environnement magique , tres belles vues et belles balades. La maison est tres confortable, meublée avec beaucoup de gout et de beaux matériaux et équipements. Les lits et linge de lits sont parfaits. Beaucoup de petites attentions de la part de Martine, qui rendent la maison tres cosy, un grand merci pour tout. Les aurores sont facilement observables tout pres de la maison.

Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. The ferry is so easy. The owners truly know how to make your stay feel special. You're going to find it difficult in your next Airbnb to find the attention to detai

No words to actually describe how perfect this stay was, it was exactly what we needed to disconnect from reality. Beautiful drive from Alta, scenery is unmatched and really tells stories of the past. We had a small snow storm the night of arrival, if you plan to arrive after 16h during winter be sure to bring a torch to help navigate through the snow. We even had the chance to see the Aurora Lights (dim), even though we had cloud cover predicted most of our stay - so lucky and so magical, it’s like something out of a fairytale! Vetli’s cabin home is all you need to disconnect and unwind, they recently painted the cabin white which makes it look more spacious and modern. If you’re looking to do many activities, rather plan to come in summer. Thank you Vetli and family for letting us experience your true marvel of a destination!

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war Super. Der Pool eignet sich perfekt um die Nordlichter bei dem kalten Wetter ein paar Stunden zu genießen. Das Haus ist sehr Modern eingerichtet und zum Kochen sind reichlich Utensilien vorhanden. In der Stadt konnten wir problemlos ein Schneemobil mieten. Joseph hat bei der Bestellung des Schneemobils geholfen, so dass der Ladenbesitzer direkt bescheid wusste. Für das Ausleihen reicht übrigens ein Autofühererschein aus und in der Umgebung gibt es einige Strecken nur für Schneemobile in den Bergen. Zum Einkaufen sind wir immer zu dem K-Markt gefahren über die Finische Grenze. Dieser ist nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Auch gibt es an der Grenze eine Rentier zucht wo man das Fleich direkt vom Hersteller kaufen konnten. Ich kann den Aufenthalt sehr empfelen!

Huge home with beautiful view over the bay. Sauna, drying room, pool table, big kitchen and terrace. All you could want! We had a great three day visit ski touring, even swam in the sea after the sauna! Hope to come back

Nydeleg opphald ved Grense Jakobselv! Elise er ein fantastisk vert, som til og med hadde bakt kanelsnurrar og lagt i frysen. Lett å kommunisere med! Kjempekoseleg hus med sjarm, med masse natur og villmark rundt. Anbefalast varmt! 🥰

A perfect stay in a wonderful place! The house is very comfortable, very large, and nicely furnished. We did not meet our guest but she made everything easy by being highly responsive. I definitely recommend this place and wish we can come back soon!

Diese schöne Ferienwohnung ist der perfekte Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen, die Natur in vollen Zügen zu genießen und Polarlichter tanzen zu sehen. Hier kann man zur Ruhe kommen und die atemberaubende Landschaft mit Fjord und Bergen auf sich wirken lassen. Ob gemütlich vor dem Kamin, in den Relax Stühlen mit Blick über den Fjord, entspannt im Whirlpool auf der Terrasse oder bei einer Wanderung in der schönen Natur. Die Ferienwohnung ist top ausgestattet, in der großen Küche findet man alles um sich ein leckeres Essen zuzubereiten. Alles ist sauber und die Kommunikation mit Sonja und Steinar unkompliziert. Eine tolle Unterkunft für alle die Ruhe, Komfort und Natur genießen möchten.

It is great place to stay. Over looking the sea very close to Vadsø town. 10 minutes drive. Lance is a friendly guy who provides lots of information.

We spent a few nights in Bente's wonderful apartment. The location was fantastic, close to the sea. We enjoyed stunning sunsets from the nearby breakwater and had our morning coffee in the yard, soaking up the sun and the sea view. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, allowing us to cook comfortably in the kitchen. The provided maps and tips about local services and attractions were a great bonus. We couldn't have asked for more!

My second time staying here for Christmas. I’ve stayed in 2 other Airbnbs in Hammerfest as well as a couple hotels throughout the years and I came back to this place because it works best for me.

Wonderful accommodation with amazing hosts! We were made to feel welcomed throughout the entire stay and they would bring us local and homemade food to try! If you consider a vacation to Alta I recommend staying at Vibeke's place!

En flott leilighet, sentralt og med prima utsikt. God atmosfære, rent og koselig. En meget hyggelig vert. Bor heller her enn på hotell neste gang jeg er i Vadsø 😊

Vi bodde på Oyster-Catcher mandag til fredag, i slutten av september og vi er utrolig fornøyd med vårt opphold her. Utsikten var fantastisk, uansett vær. Vi følte oss som hjemme i hytten og her var alt vi trengte av utstyr etc. Det var vakkert og fredelig her på Ekkerøy og det var fantastisk å være så nær havet. Mye fint å se her, et eldorado for foto-interesserte! Ingjerd var hyggelig og hjelpsom og ga oss gode tips for vår ferd videre til Vardø. Vi kommer tilbake, gjerne for å oppleve en annen årstid her på Ekkerøy. Takk for oss!

I probably owe this lovely place more than six stellar reviews.. It's perfect in all ways imaginable and I can't recommend it enough. I hereby offer my warmest recommendations after numerous memorable stays. (The apartment is fully equipped, ultra comfortable & warm, peaceful, with an incredible view and the most amazing host E.V.E.R ). Nature and humanity at its purest and most beautiful. I'm deeply grateful for all the care, understanding and support in the past few months - my utmost gratitude. These unforgettable days and fondest memories will be cherished until the end of time
