Lovely home and setting. Trudy was very friendly and responsive. Great WiFi and appliances. Perfect location for our Doubtful Sound cruise departure point.

We had the best family getaway at Bie’s place, the house felt so homely and it was immaculately clean and spacious. We loved all the extras available for our children - they loved the fire pit to cook marshmallows, the ground level tramp, the slide, cubby house and just having a large flat section to run around on. The weather was amazing in Hawea and we found plenty to do, including the pump track for the bikes which was close by. We loved it and we hope to be coming back next summer! Thank you!

Amanda is an exceptional host! Her communication and hospitality are fantastic. This is our second time staying at Amanda’s house and it is a perfect house to stay for a family ski holiday! I would highly recommend. We will be back again.

The location was great, but the house wasn’t quite what we were expecting. Quite an old place with dusty carpets. As long as you don’t have high expectations it is fine, but it was still a bit expensive for the level of house in my opinion.

A little paradise house hidden in heaven is surrounded by lavender, birds and flowers, the house has a path to the river, especially interesting! We all love being here for three days and don't want to leave! Highly recommended, five-star review

Everything we hoped for! The Makarora Bach is a well-designed and constructed home, beautifully decorated and placed in an idyllic pastural setting. Our view from the structure- long outdoor deck (and the outdoor soaking tub as well) was of pine trees and open land with grazing herds of cows and flocks of sheep; the river and ranges of mountains to the horizon. We were bathed in warm days and cool nights aided by outstanding ventilation. And quiet? Only the subtle baaing of sheep, lowing of cattle, and musical calls of Magpies broke the silence. Kitchen facilities and grill were superior, laundry and bath outstanding - the powerful shower spray great after a day hiking. The instructions were the most detailed and helpful we have encountered and our host was very generous and responsive.

Amazing gem of a place — wish we could have stayed here longer! It was so beautiful, clean, and met our needs perfectly. It’s centrally located in Wanaka, which is a lovely town with lots to do and great food. We LOVED our stay here!

Luxestay makes vacationing in Queenstown an absolutely breeze. Unbeatable views from our accommodation and immaculate bathrooms. We enjoyed the subsidised car rental and Hilton hotel perks. The in-room guide was also very helpful for local recommendations. Would not hesitate to book again with them.

Great spot! New build and clean! Really enjoyed our stay! It was a little toasty upstairs during the day but cooled down at night. Only has A/C in master upstairs just to keep in mind!

Loved this house with the fabulous view. Very comfortable for 6 of us staying there, has everything you would need for a stay. The BBQ area was lovely with magnificent views and a gas fire. It is close to town, but not really walking distance, although a short car ride or cheap uber ride. Would definitely stay there again

Probably the best AIRBNB I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Design of the place was very thoughtful and homely. Lovely touches like lemon tree & lavender in the back! Host was very responsive and helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer. Very close drive to main town. Thank you!

Phenomenal place. Beautiful views, perfectly clean, well appointed and the perfect distance from town. This will be my first choice any time I come to wanaka. 10/10 stay.

The home is just like the pictures. Well equipped kitchen and comfy patio furniture (though that late afternoon sun is strong! lol) It’s about 1 mi walk down the slight hill to town. There’s a small brewery/cafe called Be Social just down the road that I highly recommend.

Lovely private rural location 5 minutes from Wanaka central. This is a beautiful area, well worth exploring, both summer and winter. Whare iti (the Tiny House) was well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to ensure everything is good for their guests. They are very hospitable and welcoming and have lots of good tips on places of interest and things to do. I enjoyed my visit very much. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks Sally!

This property is exactly what we expected. It is a beautiful tiny home with unparalleled tranquility. We felt isolated, even though we were only 5 minutes from the chaos of Glenorchy. It is the ultimate ‘hut’ experience!
