My son was getting married at Giorgio’s (which Michele said it was 3 minutes away and it was) . Michele also answered all my questions and responded within minutes.. My aunt who lives in Brooklyn needed a place to stay with her dogs and Michele was very accommodating and my Aunt felt very comfortable in the cottage. It was exactly what we needed. Perfect host.

Wir haben die Annehmlichkeiten dieser gemütlichen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der grosse Esstisch und die Sofas sind so angelegt, dass wir auch bei dem schlechten Wetter eine wunderschöne Sicht nach draussen und auf das Wasser hatten. Die Küche war sehr gut zum Kochen ausgestattet und die Betten waren bequem. Ausserdem gibt es in jedem Zimmer genügend Stauraum. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison sehr gefallen und wir können die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen.

BEST HOST EVER. Honestly doesn’t get better than this. Not only did Monica go out of her way to connect and ensure I had everything I needed and more, but she made my entire stay unforgettable. Not only suggesting local places, but bringing me along with her to local places and events! Not only is she incredible, but her home is fantastic. Lots of beautiful art, a serene backyard with outdoor shower, hot tub, and sauna, AND right across the street from the beach. Loved it so much I’ve already booked another stay with her :)

Nice cottage on water, scenic channel in back, large tides, beach atmosphere, totally good. Fairfield is a nice town 10 mins drive. friendly neighbours. Cool place, Not far from NYC. Thank you Nadia.

John’s home was perfect for our girls weekend on the north fork of Long Island. It was close to all vineyards, breweries and local restaurants. The outside deck area was the cherry on top of the home. Perfect lighting, multiple ceiling fans, BBQ and plenty of seating. Both beds were very comfortable. The sound is walking distance from the home, but just remember the north shore of Long Island is hilly- so expect some cardio involved. It is very worth it though! John was very quick with his responses. He checked in to make sure everything was going well, especially check in. I would highly recommend coming here to see the country side of Long Island.

It's a wonderful place to get away. Quiet and peaceful. A short walk to the Town Beach or a short drive to beautiful Hammonasset Beach State Park. Trish gives you your privacy but is also super responsive if you have a question. The cottage has everything you need , with quality appointments. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. There are lovely "extras" such as a wagon with beach chairs and a sun umbrella, pour over coffee and fixings, and a day bed on the porch. There's a laundry in an adjacent building with a book exchange and an herb garden. Locally, there is excellent New Haven pizza, lobster and breakfast spots. In neighboring towns we enjoyed excellent Pho and Indian curries. One note is that "pets allowed" turns out to be limited to small, well behaved dogs, so should probably be specified.

Great place to stay. Never been to Fire Island. It was just what we were looking for….super chill and cozy. Steps to the beach and bay. 5 stars!

Amazing location and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Especially for those with young kids, there are tons of toys for both inside the home and out on the beach - we never unpacked any of the ones we brought which was so nice, and we barely left the property because it was so convenient to hang out on the deck and on the beach all day long. Would definitely return!

We had an absolutely lovely stay with Corin. An excellent, flexible, and communicative host. Great, quiet place to stay in EH for a small family. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much Corin.

Tim’s cottage is one of the best places I’ve stayed on Airbnb. The space is perfect for living, relaxing, and working. We loved the separate working quarters in the shed. It was amazing to have a separate space to relax, do yoga, and work at a real deal. The bedrooms are well sized. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices and everything you need to cooks the outdoor shower is glorious! I can’t wait to come back.

The place was great! And the recommendations were spot on - awesome host who answered all our questions! The only downside is you do need a car to get to almost any beach- it’s not as walkable as we first thought. When we were there, most of the beaches were closed due to bacteria from the storm but we found other things to do based on recommendations (Aquarium, Dino Place, Mystic Pizza/ice cream/exploring). Also, there’s a great captian (Eric) of a sailboat right around the corner you can charter (Sailworks). Lastly, this house is clean. We have two small children, and cleanliness is important and the house was perfect.

What a wonderful spot! Having such a comfortable place to stay made the weekend special. So cozy and warm sitting inside and looking out at an ice skater on the frozen lake yesterday. Such a peaceful location, we’ll definitely be renting again.

Kimberly’s home is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. The large windows and skylights and surrounding wooded area give it a peaceful indoor/outdoor feel. We loved watching a family of deer (including two adorable fawns) running through the yard throughout the day. This was quite the novelty for us since we were visiting from nyc. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and intelligently designed. Kimberly clearly loves to cook and was generous in allowing us to use her personal cookware and spices. Her bathrooms are beautiful and tranquil as well. The living areas and outdoor seating are very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time and relaxing there. We visited for a week with our 15 month old son and he had a blast jumping with us on Kimberly’s trampoline and throwing balls around in her basement (she has a basketball hoop/balls and ping pong table but he hasn’t yet mastered those sports in his young life). Beyond the actual home itself, Kimberly was a fantastic host. She was easily reachable through text throughout our stay in case we had any questions or issues. She also went out of her way to provide us with suggestions and kid friendly ideas for the area. She even left a toy drum from when her kids were younger out for our son to play with. We are very glad to have found this home and had Kimberly as our host.

The cottage was cozy and clean and the perfect location to enjoy the North Fork. Cynthia is a ver generous host, from providing water bottles to make your morning coffee, to having the most extensive Welcome binder with tons of local information. Great place to stay with kids as there are tons of toys and a kid-friendly yard. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Cynthia again!

Lovely stay. Beautiful sunset views from the local beach. Very peaceful. A car is a must. Remember to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, coffee, etc. Once you plan for the rules, everything is perfect!
