Great place to stay, cute cottage, nice private sheltered hot tub in the back. Good shower in the bathroom too!

Had a fabulous 2 nice stay. So peaceful for our much needed R&R. This was our second visit and would highly recommend to all. Beautifully fitted throughout, extremely clean, everything you needed was provided. Even had some card games etc to pass the time if wanted. Lovely host and very responsive. Looking forward to our visit again later this year. Thank you!

Loved this cottage. It was very spacious with flexible accommodation. Everything was in pristine condition and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Plenty of towels which was lovely - including separate towels for the hot tub. Loved the log burner - especially the complimentary basket of quality logs that burned beautifully. The hosts left us a lovely welcome hamper and some beautiful flowers too - really thoughtful. Would 100% recommend. We visited the area to see family and will definitely be back. What a fantastic stay! The property is stunning and the undercover hot tub lovely. The location is great for visiting North Wales. We told Suzy it was our daughter's birthday whilst we were there and she put up balloons, a birthday banner and even left us a cake! Very much appreciated. Would highly recommend the property.

My 2 nights spent at the cottage were perfect! The Host was super helpful and responsive and even went out of their way to assist with the hot tub! The place was super clean and felt just like a home away from home! I will be returning!

If I could give this a 10* I would! Stunning and private cottage that was impeccably clean. Helen occasionally checked in via message to ensure all was ok, I appreciated the good communication. Me and my wife visited for a romantic weekend away from the children, the views are beautiful and the hot tub made our stay! My wife was impressed with the added touch of petals on the bed. The perfect break! We will definitely visit again. Thanks a lot.

Beautiful place all high spec, the standard of finish was perfect, location chocolate box, great host and we may book again! Only thing we would say is could do with a bigger fridge 😂 the beds were soooo comfy 😍and Egyptian cotton bedding makes all the difference xxx

No better hosts than Helen & Tony, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful holiday cottage. This picturesque property is nestled amongst fields of horses, rare breeds sheep and stunning countryside. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean, cosy, welcoming and is of grand proportions. It is situated within a period courtyard and within easy walking distance to lovely river/ woodland walks… do extend your walk to end at the ‘Sugar Plum Tearooms’ in nearby Rhewl … a real treat! The log burner only added to the ‘zen’ surroundings and the unexpected snowfall created a perfect ‘winter wonderland’ that we all enjoyed … seeing the distant snow capped Clwydian mountain range from the comfort of the living room, was absolutely breathtaking. An ultra comfy bed made for refreshing sleeps and little homely touches around the cottage made the place feel ‘loved’. A wonderful break away… we will return.

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

A fantastic little place to stay with incredibly helpful owners. It is ideal for a couple to use as a base to explore the local area. It is situated on a quiet road and is equipped with everything you could need for a mini break. Further afield you have access to a whole host of walks across North Wales. We couldn’t have asked for much more.

It was without doubt one of the best places we’ve stayed in! Everything had been thought of and it was very comfortable for our stay. Great location and perfect for what we wanted and everything easy to drive to with good access. Lovely garden for our small dog too. Scott was always on hand if needed.

A lovely and very comfortable little barn with great hosts. Excellent communication and flexibility: We booked on the day of arrival and Kim very quickly replied offering us early arrival should we wish. Very highly recommended.

The cottage was perfectly located, with a very short walk to the Dinorben arms which serves great food. It was also as described and was just what we needed for our stay. The host did a great job of communicating and was on hand to explain everything at the check-in. Thanks Gaby!

First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

The house is beautiful. Despite the fact is antique, the appliances and decoration style are pretty modern. The rooms are spacious and Matthew is an excellent host. We felt at home for the 30 days we spent there.

Beautiful area. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had lovely touches. Tea and coffee provisions were generous and the hosts friendly and available but unobtrusive. The nearest pub was excellent too. We had a very pleasant stay.

The coach house was perfect for our stay it was a home away from home. Juliet and Richard were lovely helpful hosts, thankyou both!

Golly Farm is a superb quality place to stay! Mandy is an incredible host who communicates well and knows just how to make her guests feel welcome and at home. Her attention to detail is second to none and we loved the style and finishing touches. There’s a good selection of dvds and books and two pubs within a 40 minute walk along the lanes into Rossett. We ate at The Alyn and we’re served well by very friendly staff. We highly recommend Golly Farm if you’re thinking of visiting Chester and Alexander’s Live is a great little venue in Chester if you fancy an evening of live entertainment! Beautiful little cottage in a great location. Clean and tidy when we arrived and the chocolates on the bed were a lovely welcoming touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to visit this area!
