A great place for our family of 3 generations. Lots of room to spread out, very clean and well- equipped. Fantastic garden for the children. Lisa is a great communicator. A very welcoming, family place to stay. Thank you Lisa!

We had a lovely 2night stay at the cottage. check in was easy & the cottage was just as described and well equipped. Our grandaughter loved it. We were visiting family on the wirrall and the cottage was perfectly located. The pub up the road is an extra bonus, def worth a visit. .

Amazing stay at Heron’s View with the rolling hills, private enclosed garden and enclosed meadow for the dog to run around. The house was warm and cosy decorated for Christmas, the bed was comfortable and modern decor throughout. A countryside retreat whilst only 5 mins from the town of Ruthin and its conveniences.

Lovely and quiet but also a very convenient location near to a selection of shops and restaurants. The beach was a 5 minute drive away, which was perfect for us and our dog. Lindsey was an excellent host and responded quickly to messages. An ideal location to explore The Wirral and only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Liverpool city centre. The house worked well for us with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.

The second time we have visited the Longbarn and both times loved it. It’s so serene, plenty of space and beautifully laid out. The kids love looking at the farm animals nearby - great space for all the family. We will be back for a third time!

Our stay at Ty Gwyn Cottage was fantastic. Paul was a great host, very responsive and helpful. He sent across all the check in details for the cottage well in advance and made sure enough beds were made up for the number of guests before arrival. We travelled as a group of 5 adults and found the cottage to be so spacious and comfortable, it was a great find! Paul provided everything else we needed such as cleaning supplies which was great. The cottage is in a quiet location which was exactly what we were looking for. We were really happy with our weekend stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We had a great stay at the tack room, the instructions to find it where spot on which is needed as we couldn’t get any signal nearby (wifi inside). The place is beautiful and everything you need - plenty of dvds/ books if you’re stopping in, oil/ herbs and every cooking utensils you need to eat in. There was plenty of space for us with 2 adults a baby and a dog and garden is secure to let dog out. It’s in a great location for Chester, we went into the town centre, Chester market, blue planet, the zoo and Cheshire oaks all within 10/15 minutes drive. We had a drink in a local pub but didn’t eat as they’d finished serving when we arrived on Sunday but we did drive out to the Alford arms to go for a walk on the all trails app and ended up eating there which was fab. It was perfectly cosy in winter but imagine it being lovely in summer Sat outside with a bbq would love to return!

The caravan was fantastic and had lots of space, and a lot of home touches, my daughter loved it. We loved our stay! Maxine was excellent with communication and suggested some good attraction points to cover -the nicest caravans we’d stayed in. The only thing you need to be aware of is there you don't get any phone signal inside the van is non-existent, it has nothing to do with Maxine. There is excellent Wi-Fi that can cover phone signals. Outside is ok. We are definitely going to stay again on our next visit. Thank you for the lovely stay, Maxine.

The nicest van we have stayed in. First time at Winkups site and will deffo return. Right opposite the market and fair. Everything is on the doorstep. Caravan was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and more. Host also checked in on us the next day via email to see if we needed anything. Really great stay Thankyou xx

We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

Gillon & Merete were fantastic hosts and very helpful and extremely friendly people. The property is terrific with oh so comfy beds and an extremely large garden that our dog had lots of fun in and playing with Margo the resident dog. We would return in a heartbeat, thank you both for a terrific weekend.

It was a wonderful stay. From booking till vacating Mr. Tim help us very well like instant responds to chat. Everything was ready when we there with a warm welcome gift. Lots of activities like board games were there. It is a highly recommended space. Thanks, Mr. Tim once again and we would choose the same again.

Perfect couple of nights away on my own with my 1 year old. We had such a nice time toddling around looking at the horses and sheep. Everything in the hut we needed and more. Very private and left to enjoy

No better hosts than Helen & Tony, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful holiday cottage. This picturesque property is nestled amongst fields of horses, rare breeds sheep and stunning countryside. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean, cosy, welcoming and is of grand proportions. It is situated within a period courtyard and within easy walking distance to lovely river/ woodland walks… do extend your walk to end at the ‘Sugar Plum Tearooms’ in nearby Rhewl … a real treat! The log burner only added to the ‘zen’ surroundings and the unexpected snowfall created a perfect ‘winter wonderland’ that we all enjoyed … seeing the distant snow capped Clwydian mountain range from the comfort of the living room, was absolutely breathtaking. An ultra comfy bed made for refreshing sleeps and little homely touches around the cottage made the place feel ‘loved’. A wonderful break away… we will return.

The Cor Isaf Cottage, has been well designed to create a modern, country cosy feel and very comforting atmosphere. This lovely little cottage is embedded within the breathtaking Welsh Country Side. Only a stones throw from the Town of Ruthin; in case you have forgotten anything or are in need of the food shop whilst on route to the cottage. There are plenty of things to do within the area! We walked up to explore the Jubilee Tower, Castell Dinas Brân (Castle Ruins), visited Rhug Estate Farm Shop and finally, canoed along Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (Tallest& longest!) with "Bearded Men Adventures"! ***All activities/ places were fully DOG FRIENDLY!*** Finally, Wyn has been a fabulous host. Great communication with directions, key codes, advice on things to see and explore in the neighbouring towns & Village's. He welcomed us and ensured we got into the property successfully and left us to it. But ensured if there was anything I needed, I could knock on and ask.

Really enjoyed our stay in this ‘mountain hideaway’. We were very comfortable and Richard and Llinos were really responsive and helpful. And it’s so fantastically located for walks from the door with our dog. Thank you!

We had an absolutely magical stay at this lodge for my 2 year olds birthday! It was extremely easy to travel into Chester from the lodge! The lodge itself was extremely clean and spacious! The beds were very comfortable. We absolutely loved the donkeys next door and our little boy was obsessed! Every morning that’s how he started the day! We would love to return here in the future! Can’t recommend enough!

We stayed here while we finished renovating our house and it was in the perfect location. A very quiet and peaceful area. No complaints whatsoever.

A fantastic little place to stay with incredibly helpful owners. It is ideal for a couple to use as a base to explore the local area. It is situated on a quiet road and is equipped with everything you could need for a mini break. Further afield you have access to a whole host of walks across North Wales. We couldn’t have asked for much more.

Malcolm was extremely welcoming and very detailed in all the information provided. The coach house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need whilst still feeling spacious. It is a perfect place to relax after a busy day.
