Beautiful house in a great location. 5 minute walk to the square where there are great restaurants and things to do. All of the tour companies were able to pick us up at the front door. Rebeca was very responsive. The backyard is its own oasis & vacation on its own. We wish we could have stayed longer to truly soak all of that in. Amazing place. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing house. Even nicer than the photos. Gorgeous view of Arenal from the top deck. Lovely pool. It was a super relaxing visit. The AC units are only in the bedrooms but this was not a problem at all and my husband is very much an AC person. We had fans going and the AC from the bedrooms came into the living room, so it was very comfortable and cool. Great internet. Quiet neighborhood. We loved it so much, close to town, couldn’t have been better. Thanks so much Sindy!!!

Very nice house with fantastic garden. You have a chance to see parrots and another birds.All equipment works fine.Housekeeper Rosalija lives in the next house, she is always there to help. Unfortunatelly, the house is just 50 m from main road , and, when trucks are going down the hill, the sound is so strong, that you can not speak to one another when you are outside. Take something to protect you ears in night, the trucks start move before 6AM, and finish after 11PM. Another problem is that the house is far from La Fortuna, it is 20 min to drive. It is self check-in, but the owner had not gave us instructions prior , so we had to write him down again to open the gates.They have strange code lock on the front door, which had closed themselves at 10 PM, when we was outside, so we was forced to broke the door. It appears,that owners knows about this problem, but do nothing to fix it.

Joli logement, situé en retrait de la ville dans un secteur tranquille et sécurisé. Installations bien entretenues. Équipement minimal pour la cuisinette, mais la cuisine commune possède tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La mezzanine convient surtout à des enfants vu la hauteur du plafond. Communication avec l’hôte irréprochable. En prime : un papayer à l’entrée de la cour dans lequel nous avons observé des toucans! Je recommande.

Perfect little place, not to far from town. Many things to do. I absolutely loved it!!

This is a very beautiful place and special experience. The home is designed for optimal indoor/outdoor living and comfort. The veranda with a variety of furniture and the pool are so inviting and comfortable. The space on the farm/estate is so tranquil that we declared our time there a retreat. Jose is a very kind and responsive host who communicates well and is very proactive in giving local recommendations tailored to your interests. The place is furnished well and there is a supermarket very nearby. There are plenty of beautiful things to check out in the area but most are at least 1/2 hour away by car. Like other reviewers, we enjoyed an evening and meal with Jerry as our chef. He is very warm and amiable and the meal was declicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this special Airbnb.

Host was absolutely amazing. She was very hospitable, provided hot breakfast every morning, gave great advice on the local attractions, and was very responsive. The home was beautiful and cozy. Stayed by myself and never felt unsafe. All in all 5 stars!

Nous avons réservé à la dernière minute le chalet familiale, c’est rustique mais nous nous sommes sentis très bien dedans. Que dire de la vue qui est plus que magnifique ! La route est cahoteuse pour y parvenir mais rien de terrible par contre la petite côte pour grimper au logement est un peu plus raide mais on peut stationner en bas. Jonathan est un hôte très chaleureux et surtout ne manquez pas de goûter à ses bananes plantains! Nous n’avons pas regretté de réserver ce logement.

Una casita hecha para descansar. Mucha naturaleza alrededor, incluso pudimos apreciar un par de Lapas. La casa tiene espacios amplios aunque solo tenga un cuarto. Muy ordenado y limpio.

The house was very clean, well decorated and fully equipped. We felt right at home and there was enough space for the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teens). The house (which is actually two separate condos) is located in a nice gated neighborhood and is only a 5-mins drive to multiple restaurants and is near many attractions. The host was very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our experience at this property was excellent, and much of that can be attributed to the exceptional service provided by Joshua, the concierge. From the moment we arrived, Joshua greeted us warmly and provided a brief but informative tour of the house. He was consistently responsive and offered excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. The property itself was as described, well-maintained and comfortable. The shower had reliable hot water, the air conditioning unit functioned effectively, and the location was convenient, being only about 15 minutes from the center of La Fortuna. The only minor downside was the occasional appearance of a few insects at night but it was not problematic. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Tobi was an excellent host. Very responsive and helpful. Check in was a bit stressful on our end as we didn’t have phone service and were late arriving and felt terrible Tobi had to wait for us. The space is a rustic cabin feel, with basic amenities. The wildlife around the home was amazing. Our kids loved the outdoor trampoline and nature hikes from the property. Beautiful views. Car highly recommended as the uphill walk is treacherous from the main road. We were comfortable and location was great and a close drive downtown. Would highly recommend! We loved our time here!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in La Tigra! The home is very private at the dead end of a road in a "locals only" area. The gardens are large and beautiful with lots of see and the sounds of the rushing river and birds. The house accommodated us well spatially though there were a couple maintenance issues - dishwasher out of order upon arrival and one of the 3 bathrooms had a stinky septic issue and was unusable during our stay. Our stay was especially memorable because of all of the time we spent with Giovanni and his lovely family at Guapote lodge, just across the river bridge. We ate all of our meals there and they made us feel like family. Also highly recommend Proyecto Asis, a nearby animal sanctuary. Would absolutely return to the area!

El lugar es excelente en general, muy buena ubicación y tiene todo las comodidades que menciona la descripción. Tuvimos una experiencia genial desde el check in hasta el check out. El lugar es cómodo y espacioso, con buena ventilación y claridad, la cocina está muy bien equipada. El jacuzzi también está bien equipado. Hay una lista de actividades que se pueden hacer cerca, recomiendo el tour de la granja que fue muy agradable. Estamos muy agradecidos con el trato recibido y esperamos regresar pronto!

Grace and Luis were incredible hosts—extremely proactive, responsive, and friendly, and made our trip to Costa Rica truly unforgettable. We absolutely appreciated their helpful welcome kit that they provided in anticipation of our arrival. And to top it all, the property was absolutely spectacular, just like the photos and even better, and wonderfully decorated with incredible artwork/paintings by Grace. Thank you !!!

Jonka House is a beautiful, private retreat away from the tourist centres. The house is very clean and well equipped, the pool was great to swim in and they cleaned it every day or two and the yard has lots of colourful plants that attract wildlife. We saw many bird varieties, lizards and iguanas in the yard. There is a chicken barn next door so you can hear them clucking quite early but it’s not too noticeable. The hosts were very responsive and quick to attend to any issues we had, they even brought us fresh coconuts to enjoy. I would definitely recommend Jonka House, you won’t be disappointed.

We loved staying at JJs place! Fabulous setting with big open green spaces for the kids to play and amazing views of the volcano. The kids had a blast in the pool and it was fun to cook in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Highly recommend JJs place to others!

Adrian's place was extremely pleasant to visit. He had a very well stocked kitchen, and plenty of towels and toilet paper in the bathroom. The space is great bang for your buck with plenty of space for multiple people. The view there is beautiful with cloudy jungle covered mountains and some very small waterfalls right in the backyard down a trail. There were a lot beautiful birds as well. There were horses on the property that are very friendly. The restaurants in the area are very affordable and delicious, the staff there are extremely friendly and welcoming to tourists. We enjoyed Blue Morpho's empanadas a lot. Thank you Adrian!

This place is stunning! Such beautiful scenery surrounded by the jungle. We saw monkeys from the balcony, a gorgeous sunset and a rainbow. The place itself is super clean, well decorated, and we felt right at home. It's a great view, although the city below is slightly loud with all the motorcycles but didn't bother us too much. We weren't quite used to so many large spiders inside the house but perhaps this is just jungle life! Overall highly recommend.

This is a beautiful 5 bedroom house with a nice pool and a great outdoors area to eat and hang out. Very convenient for a large family to stay (we were a group of 10 with 8 adults and 2 kids). There's a small grocery store and a bakery less than a 5 minute walk, and it's a reasonable drive to the attractions. Very responsive support staff. The only thing we missed was kitchen having some usual amenities such as a tea pot but we worked around that. Great find for a relaxing and peaceful stay!
