We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Great house, perfect if you want to be secluded and unbothered. House had plenty of amenities and had everything that we needed. Instructions were clear and the house had more than what we needed.

This was our second time staying at Paula's house in Floyd because we love how peaceful and comfortable it is. The kitchen was well-stocked for all of our Thanksgiving cooking as we loved relaxing with a puzzle or board game in the bright, cozy sunroom. Floyd is a cute little town with great shops and restaurants.

Fantastic stay! Loved the view, peaceful surroundings, and the house was gorgeous. Very comfortable and fun base to hike nearby parks. Definitely a nice stay and we will return.

The home and area were both perfect for a short getaway. The creek was a lot of fun for the kids to visit! Very clean and beautifully decorated.

Amanda was an exceptional hostess. Excellent communication and her home was bright and tidy. My 15 month old granddaughter was with us and the high chair, pack & play and baby gates came in handy. Also, all of the curtains were blackout so that made it helpful for her afternoon nap. Some toys downstairs and the little teepee was fun! Thanks!

Norma was very accommodating and very kind. She was easy to get into contact with when we needed her. Her house is spotless and has everything you need. The Food Lion across the street is very convenient and the house is within walking distance to main street.

What a gem! Susan’s charming historic home had EVERYTHING we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the games, the books about Virginia, the notes about the history of the property, the beautiful scenery, the comfy cozy beds, the TVs and attractive fireplaces in each room, and the coffee/tea and disposable dishes. This home is so aesthetic, clean and comfortable. We’d love to visit again!

Ecovillage was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views near a quaint little town!We stayed in #5 and loved it! All amenities included coffee, teas, all kitchenware that you would need! Beds were clean and comfortable. Baths were squeaky clean with very nice towels. I was a little hesitant being off the grid and partially underground but it was perfect. No issues, would highly recommend.

Chrys was a very kind host and place was absolutely perfect! The decorations and furniture makes the place feel very warm and welcoming. There were tons of information packets about Floyd and things to explore in the area. She also provided some tea and coffee which was great to drink in the morning on the balcony watching the mountains, sunrise, river, and wildlife. The beds were comfortable and bathroom very clean. Shower was a little short (due to the slant in the roof) but Chrys provided a removable shower head so it was totally fine. Chrys was a great host! Anytime we had questions or a change in plans she was flexible and responsive. Hope get to stay with her again :)

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Such a lovely place that has everything 1 or 2 people need. Great for walking to central Floyd attractions and a short drive from the ecovillage. Really nice furnishings. Very clean (with no artificial fragrances which I really appreciate).

Very responsive host. Amenities as listed. Beautiful location for peace and quiet while being a short drive to groceries and restaurants. Nice location to visit family at Virginia Tech and do some hiking to the Cascades or to visit the Mountain Lake Lodge.

This was a great place to stay, private and cozy. Within walking distance from all shops in downtown. Right next to the Farmer's market. Easy walk to Dogtown. Parking is a bit annoying, you do have to walk your luggage in but other than that it's a great place to stay. The host were proactive with communication and accommodating. We will be back! Located in a beautiful town of very nice folks!

This is one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed at. The location is great--it's right in downtown Floyd and is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The space is beautiful, super clean, and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with pans/utensils/cups and plates. The bed was very comfortable as well. I would definitely recommend staying here!
