While some areas could benefit from a little updating, the space has a welcoming vibe and provides all the essentials for a comfortable visit. The hosts are incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring that guests feel well taken care of during their stay. Cleanliness is a priority here and everything is tidy and well-maintained. The views of the mountains were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed all the wildlife that came into the yard. We spotted many deer resting in the yard and even next to the house.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain house. The views are amazing, and Berit did a great job giving very clear instructions on how to navigate the mountain on the way up. She made sure ahead of time that we had vehicles suitable for the drive which was very appreciated. She checked in with us throughout the weekend just to make sure there was nothing we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels/blankets available, and overall was just a wonderful stay. There is a winery, Chateau Morrisette, which was only about 15 minutes away that was really fun to visit, and Floyd is a very cute, friendly town. I would definitely stay here again. Overall we had a wonderful stay in this large home in the town of Floyd. It was very walkable, the backyard was perfect and fenced for kids, and there were huge bedrooms and multiple living spaces for our group of 12 to spread out. Its important to mention that the bathrooms were very small, and the upstairs bathroom was more the size of a half bath with a tub squeezed inside. Also, be aware that the top bunks do not have railings on them and the mattresses hang over the edge by a couple of inches. It was a great place to reconnect with family and I'm so grateful we rented here.

Fantastic stay! Loved the view, peaceful surroundings, and the house was gorgeous. Very comfortable and fun base to hike nearby parks. Definitely a nice stay and we will return.

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend. Close to the Parkway and several places to eat from fancy to low key within a few minutes. This is an older home that made me feel like I was at grandmas. I kept waiting to find something wrong but in the end will be going back for sure.

Jonathan is truly a super host. He was very polite and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The house itself is beautiful with gorgeous views. It has all the convenience of home with space heaters and fans in every bedroom. Definitely will be back.

Lovely private home in the mountains. Rained all weekend but not the host's fault of course. The heat worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked almost every meal. Driveway is steep but doable.

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. This place was perfect for a secluded mountain getaway. It was a great place to recharge and connect with nature.

Beautiful lake views. The owner stopped by to drop off salt since we were expecting snow and ice which was very thoughtful. He also let us know we could park at the top of the driveway if needed. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Stayed a couple of nights when I came to the area for a fundraiser bike ride. Pretty much just slept there and don’t spend much time otherwise. Convenient location and met all my needs. Chris was responsive.

Ecovillage was absolutely amazing. Beautiful views near a quaint little town!We stayed in #5 and loved it! All amenities included coffee, teas, all kitchenware that you would need! Beds were clean and comfortable. Baths were squeaky clean with very nice towels. I was a little hesitant being off the grid and partially underground but it was perfect. No issues, would highly recommend.

Beautiful farm cottage with plenty of space inside and out. The cottage construction is beautiful, everything is in new condition and the cottage is stocked with all the amenities needed. Very large for a 'cottage'. The property is beautiful, with a great view of the countryside, and outdoor amenities like a fire pit, koi pond and hiking trails through the woods. There were even two deer waiting for us in the yard when we arrived. Just a 15 minute drive into Radford for great dining options. Not far off I-81. Made a great stopover for us on our travels, but would love to have a longer stay here. The trails through the woods were a great benefit for exercising our dog. Highly recommended. We've stayed at numerous farm cottages, and this one is at the top of the list.

This was a cute clean house with everything that we needed for the weekend! Our host checked in with us to make sure the accommodations were satisfactory!

We had a great time staying here. It was the perfect setting to convene three households with small children. The open floorplan was great to let the kids run around. Also, they loved the bunkbeds! The game room in the basement gave us all something to do during one day of bad weather. The view from the deck out onto the lake is picturesque. Rodney and Company were incredible hosts. Very responsive. Also, the home was delivered to us in immaculate condition. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful lake house! We hope to come back next year!

We had a great stay at the Redwood Lodge. It is exactly as described! The private sauna and hot tub were the highlights. The bed is very comfortable, and the lodge is well stocked with all the essentials and more. David is a wonderful, generous host. There's plenty to do nearby. We enjoyed hiking at Buffalo Mountain, checking out the shops in Floyd, and visiting the farm store at the Floyd Ecovillage.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

Has everything you need. Great views and the locals are extremely friendly! The home itself was very comfortable for a relaxing stay. Our internet was out due to winter storms. But the host did everything he could to get it working, which we very much appreciate. The views are absolutely wonderful and the hot tub is such a bonus! If you come here, take the time to visit the Chateau Morrisette Restaurant. There is no relation to this Airbnb, but has the best food and serve I’ve ever experienced. Love that this house is not too far from everything in the area, but far enough that you’ll barely hear any cars or neighbors. Another great place is the Crossroads Cafe just a 5 minute drive. Thanks for our stay!

Ashera and Luke were about the best hosts and now friends you could ask for. Their beautiful, well built rustic cabin was cozy with all the amenities we needed. The property is breathtaking, with a space for every need or want. We stayed for a respite from home in WNC and overwhelming emotions and energy from Helene, and our hosts were more supportive than we ever could have asked for. We will definitely be making this a regular getaway and sanctuary. Absolutely loved the stay and our hosts.

One of the best bookings I've ever made! This was the perfect location to spend our family Thanksgiving, from the array of entertainment for the kids, to the relaxing hot tub, to the beautiful location. This is also one of the most well-appointed places I've ever stayed. Every detail was above and beyond and I hope we can come back again sometime!

We loved our stay in Floyd! We were greeted by their adorable dog and that made us feel right at home. :) The property is BEAUTIFUL and so was the airbnb!
