The barn was beautifully situated and very peaceful. We loved the family dogs and cats coming to visit us. The barn is right on the Cuckoo trail and so we enjoyed walking along enjoying the spring sunshine . A really lovely pub in Old Heathfield called The Star Inn is definitely worth a visit, it's warm, cosy and very friendly. The food was delicious so well worth the short walk from the barn. A couple of nights in this beautiful setting was just perfect.

Great stay at Barry's place. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. leaving some eggs and bacon in the fridge was a nice touch and solved what to have for breakfast. We would definitely stay again.

Such a beautiful place with gorgeous surroundings……. Couldn’t have been more peaceful only thing to hear was the birds in the trees. Very clean, beautiful cottage……. Little touches like home made bread and jam on arrival hosts were very polite and informative full of recommendations, would definitely recommend we will most certainly be returning ☺️

Wir hatten zwei schöne Tage und Nächte mit Hund im Bothy. Stromlos aber mit Kerzen und Solarlicht war großartig. Der Service mit den Kühlakkus war super und sehr nett. Das Bett und die Decken mega gemütlich. Kleine Info an Hundebesitzer mit Jagd ambitionierten Hunden: Das Gelände ist nicht eingezäunt und es gibt Hunderte! Fasane (vor der Jagdsaison im Oktober) Wir würden es absolut weiter empfehlen!!!

We loved the place. We felt like we were at home. The house itself has got that welcoming feeling that when you’re inside you just wanna stay indoor. It was warm and cozy. We loved the scenery outside as well.

Lovely little place to stay exactly as listed and would love to stay here again if in the area. Joanne was very helpful and friendly from start to finish.

Phillida's cabin was spotless, warm and comfortable. It is well designed for a small space with a very comfortable bed and good bathroom. We enjoyed having coffee pods and milk, as this made a difference in such a remote place.

we stayed in hut #2 on Aidan and Wendy's property. The introduction was great, we dealt with Aiden. A straight shooting gentleman, he explained the rules and general procedure to me and my partner before leaving us to ourselves. The property is well kept and tidy, there are security cameras all over the place (they are not aimed at the hut), for that peace of mind. we had a suprise visit from Aiden and Wendy's pup which was a pleasant suprise as our dog made a new friend. The huts are small so with two of us and a large dog it was pretty full but if you've read the description and pictures you'll know what your getting into. we really liked that cosy feel. Especially with the wood burning fire on. The back roads can be daunting to navigate if you are not familiar with country lanes but take it slow and you will be fine. It's worth the trip to Aiden and Wendy's sanctuary.

This place is an absolute gem and I will definitely use it again for a stay in the beautiful Kent countryside. If you have a dog, it is absolutely perfect as the grounds are huge, with ponds, trees (including a tree house) plus huge open spaces and all securely fenced in. Lovelyfriendly hosts also.

We had an amazing stay at Sonia and Steve’s beautiful barn. Set in a peaceful location, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The barn was spotless, and we were welcomed with lovely touches like fresh bread, butter, milk, and marmalade, along with coffee and tea. Sonia and Steve were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We visited with our dogs and loved that we could go on stunning walks right from the barn, no need to drive anywhere. Evenings were spent playing games while listening to the fire crackling in the wood-burning stove, which made for a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. We also took a trip to Smarden and stopped by the local shop, where we found everything we needed, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

This stay was lovely, great for the price, very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and contactable. We would definitely recommend and return if in the area again.

Marta's place is beautiful. The location is peaceful and views are perfect. It was great for our toddler who could roam free with no worries of roads or hazards. They kindly heated the hot tub ready for our arrival, which was amazing to relax in under the stars. The lodge was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be booking again!

Me and my wife had a fantastic stay! So peaceful, and the hot tub was amazing! Lucy had to go and pick her husband up due to a broken down vehicle but still found the time to set the tub up for us which we thoroughly enjoyed 😊 will definitely return in the future!

We stayed for one night in the cabin. It’s really well thought out and comfy space full of nice little touches. Fee was a lovely host, offering us a warm welcome. The cabin is very private in a secluded part of the garden. Would recommend.

The Tiny House in Kent was exactly as described. It is small, but was ample for me, my husband and our five miniature dachshunds. The place is fitted out well, with nice decor. The broadband signal is weak, but that’s not a bad thing, as good to get away from it all! It is really quiet and peaceful. The countryside is beautiful, to reach the closest ‘walk’, you need to walk on the road for a short distance, so need to be sensible for road safety. The garden is lovely, the dogs enjoyed having a good look around! There’s plenty of pubs/restaurants close-by and the supermarkets are a short drive away. It was a really relaxing weekend, would definitely go back, it would be fantastic in the summer months, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine!

Nina was a great host, and I am thankful that she shared her lovely space with us! Would recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break somewhere relaxing and different :)

A lovely few days at Hazel cottage. The cottage was clean, light, very peaceful and it had everything we needed to make it a home from home. We enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the garden, some lovely walks along the North Downs Way with some very nice lunches at pubs along the way. I felt very comfortable allowing my dog to roam around the garden, which was very secure - he met his first hedgehog there l. Claudia and her partner were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely little shepherds hut in a picturesque garden. Host was friendly and gave us everything needed. a perfect getaway for a night to just unwind and explore the surroundings.

My partner and I book this place last minuet for us and our two young girls. We’ve been to places like this before else where and we were really impressed and happy with how child friendly this place is. From a kiddie toilet seat cover for the compost loo’s to all sorts of ball games provided - as well as a small kiddie kitchen our girls absolutely loved playing with. We only stayed for an evening as it was a stop over but wished we could’ve booked for another night! Both beds were comfortable and the hut was very clean - Tilly has thought of everything even to the point of having children’s books. All cutlery and essentials were there too. If you’re a parent thinking about booking with your kids I really really recommend it. Absolutely stunning views, games to play & such a homely feeling in the hut. We will absolutely be booking again near the summer time for a longer period of time.

Sylvie’s little chalet was perfect for our two day trip to France. Pablo, our dog, could roam around in the garden freely which was a big plus. You have all you need for a short trip. Thank you Sylvie for our lovely stay!

very nice and cute place , very nice garden and peaceful. it is very important to have a car being in this property or planing grocery with you. There is some taxi company but it can be pricy to do only few kilometres. the overall was perfect related to the property
