Liz and Andrew’s house was perfect for our weekend in Rye. You can’t get a better location, right off Mermaid Street and a stone’s throw from the cafe’s, shops and restaurants. Liz and Andrew were welcoming, responsive and the home had all amenities needed.

Lovely host who was always on hand to answer any questions both in the run up and during our stay. House was lovely with plenty of space and storage in the rooms. Communal areas and kitchen were lovely and great for catering for our big group. Nice location that’s a walk to all of Margate’s offerings. Thank you for making my sister’s Hen do so much fun!

This is a nice little place within walking distance of sea front, restaurants, Co-op just round the corner, so very convenient. Parking space is a real bonus. We have a Renault Capture and that was no problem to park. A much larger car might not be so easy. We really liked how quiet it was at night. Netflix was another bonus. All in all happy :-)

My friends and I take an annual trip to Rye and were delighted when we came across The Old Surgery listing. The beds are very comfortable, it’s a beautiful house with lots of space, and very central. We had a wonderful stay. Steve was very helpful and responsive on messages. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.

We had a lovely mini-break at Robert's place. The house was well equipped, comfortable, clean, warm and in a good location from whence to do our exploring on foot. (Parking for two cars directly outside is a definite bonus.) Certainly, the pictures and blurb matched the reality! The quirkiness was part of the charm; we even ended up buying some similar art on-line whilst there! It was our first time in Margate and it was a shame that much is closed off season in the early part of the week but we found plenty to keep us busy and some nice eateries too. Drove west to Whitstable which has a contrasting vibe and enjoyed them both for being different. Thank you Robert and we would recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Margate.

Very cool flat in a great location, easy to get to the seaside, old town and Cliftonville. Flat has everything you would need and the log fire is great in winter. Hosts very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This house had everything to ensure a comfortable stay with an extremely well equipped kitchen, all the essentials provided and a very generous welcome pack. Our teenage grandson loved the TV room and we loved the location , just minutes from the old town shops. The garage was a bonus which thankfully (just!) accommodated our Golf car. Communication with Gilly and Rachel was excellent, check in / out was easy and flexible. If only all Airbnbs could be like this -highly recommended!

Wij boekten heel last minute en waren heel blij dat Isabelle nog kon ontvangen. Het huis voldeed helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Het is een gezellige plek en heel goed uitgerust. Het terras met zicht op zee maakt het natuurlijk helemaal af. Het strand is gewoon het hoekje om en is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen met de kinderen. Je kan er ook heel mooi wandelen. De communicatie met Isabelle liep heel vlot. Een plek om te onthouden, wij komen graag terug!

The house is very spacious with plenty of room for all guests. It is immaculately clean in a lovely neighbourhood. Parking for our 3 vans was not an issue . It was so lovely we booked for another week straight away. Felix has great communication and I can highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous time staying in Ramsgate between Xmas and New Year. We were two families spending some time together and the house was very comfortable for us all, with plenty of space for the teenagers in the group to take themselves off. The location is brilliant because you can walk to the shops, restaurants and surrounding areas. We walked to Broadstairs and Pegwell Bay which are both very scenic routes. Alot of the yachts were lit up in the harbour with Xmas lights so it felt very festive. There was also a lovely latern parade on New Years Eve which was fun to watch. We would love to return. There is no parking in the imediate road but we found spaces with no restrictions and a wide road in the Royal Esplande about a 5 min walk away from the house, so parking was easy there. Thanks to the team for making our stay so good and special thanks to Derek who helped with the recycling ready for New Years Eve!

Wonderful welcome folder with great information. The location was near the cathedral and shops/restaurants. The shopping street was a gathering place for locals fun evening walk.

My friend and I stayed at Carl’s cottage for 6 weeks during our clinical placement. The cottage was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed for a long stay, from various kitchen equipment, to lots of clean bed sheets and bath towels. When the radiator in the bedroom stopped working, Carl was quick to assess the problem within a day and organise for a plumber to come round to fix it in a very timely manner. The beds are very comfortable and the big shower is lovely too. The cottage is in prime location to the town centre and station, within 20 mins walk, or the nearby Waitrose and local pubs which were a 3min walk away. Even in a good location, the road was very quiet and away from busy traffic and free street parking was never a struggle to find. Overall, we would definitely recommend Carl’s cottage to anyone looking to stay for either a short or long duration- thank you Carl!

Alain is an excellent host! He lives in the area and was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. He met us at the house and explained everything. The location is very convenient, only 5 mins walk from the high street, sea front, train and bus stations. The house has been completely renovated and has very efficient heating, constant hot water and two good showers. The appliances are all newer and work well. It was great having tvs in the living room, bedrooms and kitchen. If we stay in the area in the future we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Accommodation was clean, spacious and matched the description. Communication was excellent throughout with clear instructions on how to get there and how to get into the property. There was space for both cars and being in the outskirts of town, by the harbourside meant it was very peaceful. Lovely for a family break

Hannah is simply a delightful and insightful host. Very kind and graciously accommodating to our queries and needs. Not only is the environment warm and lovingly filled, it’s spacious and giving with memories, laughter and gleeful spells. Located in a very safe and welcoming neighborhood, that has an enchanting morning light; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the kids were ridiculously giddy with excitement to explore the toys and books available. Loved our weekend in The ‘Bubble. Walking distance to town, beach and Tankerton. E only live a forty minute drive away and know the area very well, but staying at Melanie’s was a really relaxing mini break. The house is beautiful and very calm. Top quality decor, toiletries and appliances. Just gorgeous!
