Spectacular stay! Room was very clean and comfortable so it felt very homely. Host even provided me with a personal heater so I was very warm. Kitchen and bathroom were tidy. I booked last minute but hosts were so lovely and welcoming. I had no issues with check in, the process was very easy. I most definitely would love to stay here again and recommend for anyone looking for a stay. One of the best stays I’ve had in Southend!

Nina was a wonderful host, very kind and friendly. The room is larger than it appears in photos and is very comfortable. There were lovely touches like a little chocolate jar. Very close to the station and in a lovely area close to Southend. I think I’ll be back the next time I need a getaway

My daughter and I spent a few days in Rosie’s beautiful home. We were made to feel very welcome and we had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The room was lovely; it was immaculate and the linen and towels smelled gorgeous. Thank you for your hospitality and for being so helpful explaining things and giving recommendations. We hope to stay again some day soon!

Great value for money. Property is clean and quiet, walking distance to the town centre and seaside. Friendly host. Will definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable, warm, homely and quiet at night. Near the sea. The host is welcoming and on hand. Good facilities: shower and everything you would need in the kitchen. Good value for money. The place is a 5 minute walk to the sea and 12 minute walk to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes! Pleasantly surprised and couldn't have asked for a more helpful host. Thank you.

Fiona was extremely helpful and her quirky home lived up to its billing. On a side note no drink glasses found on arrival so bought some and left there.

One of the best Airbnbs that I have stayed in. Exactly as described, well equipped and well prepared. Great communication from the host.

We were looking for an oasis of peace that was near good amenities, and we hit the jackpot. The location was so quiet, and felt like the countryside with foxes and hedgehogs roaming around. But we could walk to the top of town in 10 minutes and down to the beach and amusements in 20. The property also promoted that peaceful vibe with lots of zen trappings. The garden was also a tranquil place to sit being very private, and also with a fish pond. We were greeted by Phil on arrival and he immediately made us relaxed and at home. He could not do enough for us and even posted back a left behind item. All in all we had a brilliant family holiday.

We had a short but wonderful stay, during the half term break. There was so much to do in the local area for the kids, with a good park just at the end of the road as well. We always drove, and the town centre was less than five mins away. Same as the beachfront with all the amusements, restaurants, and Adventure Island which was perfect for the kids. The house itself was very good, with parking. Very spacious with lounge, dining area, and a beautiful kitchen. I also managed to get some work done in the "study area" too. All round a good stay.

Really nice house. great to have off street parking. Beautiful garden. Had a number of child friendly toys which was very handy for a toddler.

Needed somewhere to stay for a family party. This was perfect for the five of us. Host was always responsive to any questions we asked. Very nice.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend in Leigh on Sea staying at the cottage. The cottage itself is spacious with plenty of space and enough furniture for at least 6 adults. The host specifies the drive will take one car but we had two medium sized cars parked right out the front. The garden is a bonus and wraps round the house. All of the bedrooms are spacious, beds aren’t the comfiest and a little noisy. The kitchen is well equipped and has a nice sized dining table. Would stay again

Lovely place. Near to the pubs, but quiet. Easy to get to the beach and the shops. Nice and spacious. I’d happily stay again.

Brilliant stay, the house was clean and spacious with every available utility. Kind host who was happy to help and very accommodating. High stairs to enter the premises, so may not be ideal for those with very young children or some disabilities (just as a heads up) Did not impact our stay.
