Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Our family of three plus a couple extended family members stayed here for a wedding and it was the best fit! Not only close to the venue and downtown Maryville but a lovely house. Our favorite parts were the sunroom, finished basement apartment which was a great place for our little family to stay and our son to nap, ample parking, and a dog-friendly house. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for everyone to hang out together or have their own space. We would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at many AirBnBs, and Joan’s was by far the VERY BEST ONE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! There should be awards for this home. I can’t rave enough about it. Accommodating is the number one adjective I believe describes her cottage because there is not a single thing we needed- Joan has thought about it ALL; she has to be the most thoughtful host ever. Personable and cozy are some other ways to describe this home- we didn’t want to leave! The bird watching and porch is so very inviting and peaceful. The bath is gorgeous and has everything you need for it. The towels were heated, there were robes, clean linens… games, every cooking item you can think of, coffee, precious and thoughtful things left out special here and there just for us- I mean, you think it…. She DID IT. Absolutely AMAZING. 10/10. The price shocked me for how much of a TREAT it is to stay here… must mean Joan is a humble person, which is VERY rare these days. Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

Really enjoyed the home. Our trip was cut short due to anticipated weather to travel 11-12 hrs home. Would love to come back and enjoy the porches during different seasons. During our stay it was cold and rainy. Place was as described- clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Rodney was very responsive and understanding when it came to checking out earlier than planned. Would definitely stay again.

Having stayed in a number of houses on this street before, I knew it was a great location and in walking distance to town. From the start Kirk was very communicative and available to any questions or needs we had. The setup is a little different as there are two separate houses sharing common deck and outdoor space but only one of the houses has a full kitchen setup and you have to walk through one bedroom to get to another in the front house. Considering it was a "girls" trip it wasn't an issue for us but traveling with other couples it could be. Sitting outside on the deck, listening to the creek run is one of the best things about this property!

If you want a cabin in the heart of Maggie Valley, this a great cabin to rent. Loved the location . We wanted to be close to family in another rental and this worked perfect for us. Everything was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable. Joey’s Pancake restaurant is across the street. We enjoyed eating breakfast there every morning. Look forward to coming back again.

I have stayed in over 100 Air BnBs over the last few years for work, this is hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Beautiful place, breath taking views, and Mr. Don is one of the nicest, most interesting men I've ever had the privilege to meet. 11/10 recommend

Five stars, without hesitation! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting access to Great Smoky National Park and/or to Knoxville, who wants peace, quiet, and comfort. The kitchen met all our needs during a six-night stay. Heater/A/C unit worked great. Every room was clean and inviting, non-cluttered. The spaces were bigger than I imagined from the pictures. Pam was so helpful when we had questions about hiking and scenic drives. There are so many thoughtful touches and details throughout, and Pam checked in to ensure we did not need anything. The area was lovely the last week of March! I will have nothing but fond memories!!

Laurie was such a great host. She responded quickly to any questions I had and was very helpful. The condo is so cozy and has a great view of a pretty stream. It’s close to the GSMNP and downtown Gatlinburg. Great Airbnb! :)

Perfect for the NP and Gatlinburg exploring. Very short walk to the action. The condo is nicely appointed and very clean. I mean… the sheets were soft and smelled great! Pillows were fluffy and the mattress was VERY comfortable. Kitchen and bath… spotless. Couldn’t ask for a better stay. Thanks for caring for your property and keeping it updated and clean.

The location of this apartment is perfect! We walked anywhere we wanted to go in Highlands. The place is spacious, the kitchen has anything you could need, and the custom closet made unpacking and staying organized a breeze! We would definitely stay here again.

The Airbnb was very much like the pictures. It was a small, comfortable place. The hosts had toiletries and snacks available. We especially appreciated that our dog was welcome there.

Close to everything, absolutely beautiful view. This place is worth every penny. Comfortable furniture, easy to get to, close to Waynesville and Asheville. My only complaint (and this is entirely personal preference) is the artificial fragrance used on the sheets/towels was very strong. I have asthma and allergies and found it a little overwhelming. But again this is personal preference and doesn’t take away from this beautiful place. Thank you Jose!

I work remote and rented Damien's home for a month to disconnect and get away from big city life for a little, and it was the best decision I've ever made. This airbnb was perfect for me and my pup. It has a creek and hiking trail on the massive property which makes for extremely pleasant dog walks. I never had an issue with the Starlink wifi (and I had a lot of devices connected and take zoom meetings all day) while the home is super private and secluded, the town of Franklin with everything you need is less than 10mins away. No complaints about this house or homeowner, one of my favorite Airbnb stays ever and I will definitely be returning in the future. 10/10 would recommend!

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!

My family and I had the time of our lives! It was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures! Craig was amazing and very fast with his responses! He checked in on us and made sure everything was just as we expected! My mom is disabled and is wheelchair bound and the home even had a ramp to get her into the main floor and that’s hard to find in the mountains! My sister lives in Nantahala and I love visiting up there to see her but we decided to get an Airbnb this time and we will now always stay here! We were blown away! And also the hot tub is massive my whole family basically fit in it! Thanks again Craig!!
