This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We spend 4 nights in this beautiful cabin, I can’t say bad word, everything was spotless, very peaceful place, that’s what we needed. My kids loved it. All house is beautiful, specious, got everything we needed. Outdoor is very nice, we spent Christmas Eve around firewood and in hot tub , my kids was so disappointed we have to leave . Within 1 hour you can see so many different places, also 5 min away is small town where you can do shopping. I would recommend to everyone staying at that place.

We had a fabulous 2 nights stay in Milsom cottage . The view was amazing and the cottage so cosy and warm from the AGA . The peace and quiet was glorious! The cottage’s fixtures and fittings and amenities were of great quality and it felt like a real treat to be staying there . We would definitely return, there is still so much to see and do in the area . Thank you Victoria for a lovely stay

We had a wonderful long family weekend - the accommodation was perfect for 4 kids aged 16 - 23 with something for everyone. We immediately felt at home, and the pool room, hot tub and table tennis were a big hit. The kitchen was very well equipped (as was the rest of the house) and the big Co-op just around the corner was ideal for stocking up. Super base for exploring North Wales, with a forest park and Zip-World both on the doorstep, and Snowdonia 20 minutes by car. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Alders Cottage. I stayed with friends for a trip to Alton towers and we had everything we needed, very cosy and very clean! 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be back!

This was my third time staying at The Pottery and I will no doubt return. If you're seeking a tranquil, private spot in a picturesque, relaxed setting, this could be the place for you.

Our stay at this perfect shepherd hurt was unforgettable, onarriving a little else we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The shepherd hut itself was an absolute gem—cozy, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The interior had a warm charm, with soft bedding, a well-stocked kitchenette, and even a small wood-burning stove that made the evenings feel extra special. Me and my partner Ben would like to give a special thank you to Huw, he made our trip a home away from home. And we will be sure to seeing him again very soon. If you're after an unforgettable experience with stunning mountain views, total privacy, and an enchanting little hut, this place is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning for another peaceful retreat in the future.

Lynn's place is ideally located in Dolgellau. You are just blocks from shops, restaurants, and pubs. And Dolgellau is a perfect place to explore mid-wales.

Me and my friends visited the cottage for a few nights in order to do some hiking in Snowdonia and it was absolutely amazing! The host Sonia was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home! It was the perfect spot for getting to Snowdon for our sunrise hike and an amazing hot tub on site to help ease the pains! Couldn’t recommend it more!
