This place is ALWAYS clean and very home like. I would recommend 11 out of 10 times!!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The surroundings were gorgeous, the house was clean and beautifully decorated, and there were fresh-made cookies and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The hosts proactively gave clear instructions for where to park and how to get inside, and recommended their favorite local restaurant. The kitchen was spotless and very well equipped, and they even provided a clean, well-maintained gas grill. We will 100% stay here again on our next trip to the area!

Loved staying here! It was perfect for my husband, baby and I. The renovations were beautiful and honestly had a lot of thoughtful little details! It was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was a gorgeous renovated basement unit, very spacious and clean. Had everything we needed. Located literally steps away from downtown Lynchburg in a gorgeous historic neighborhood. Would recommend this location for a get away.

Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend. This was a repeat stay, and everything was just as nice as the last time. Quick communication with Gwendolyn was appreciated, and everything we needed was available or offered.

We were lucky to book this fabulous, huge space. The entire space was charming and comfortable. We loved the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace. Philip was a great host, very quick to respond and helpful. 100/10 highly recommend.

The place was great! Very quiet and clean. Ample sleeping accommodations. The bathroom was very tiny, though. My husband is 6' 3" and he barely fit into the shower. There is no sink in the kitchen, so the bathroom sink was the only one in the apartment. Overall, we had a great visit and the place was very nice and affordable! Thank you!

It had everything a traveling professional needs while away from home! It was Private and in a beautiful neighborhood. Extremely clean! Highly recommend

We loved staying in this cozy space. It was perfect for our weekend at a swim meet at LU, which was less than 15 minutes away. Frances was very responsive whenever I contacted her and she was gracious enough to let us have a late check out, so we didn't have to spend the afternoon in a restaurant or a car waiting for our evening swim session. I would highly recommend this accommodation, and we will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We are return guests and very much appreciate such an affordable clean, comfortable & peaceful place to stay while visiting our daughter. Joe & Renee are wonderful hosts.

We chose this place with only 2 weeks before our sporadic vacation to get out of the city and enjoy some scenery. Ronald was a great host, responded quickly, made check in process easy and even let us check in a few hours early. Upon arriving Ronald greeted us and showed us the farm life, He also brought some apples so we can get more up close and personal with the animals. Cows and goats were great! The chicken perched on a extension cord was a good laugh too!! He showed us the trails and where to explore and while we didn’t get to use the whole Airbnb experience as others, we did explore and check it out. Paths were decent with some ruts to look out for. The fire pit area seemed cozy and if we had more time would’ve certainly utilized it. The stay was clean and offered all necessary amenities. The hot-tub was clean and very relaxing after a long day of traveling. 10/10 would recommend.

Christopher's Place was perfect for our spur of the moment plans to travel to Lynchburg for a couple days. This basement apartment is outfitted with most everything you could want or need and the hot tub was icing on the cake! The location was outstanding being in a quiet neighborhood, but only a short distance and drive to everywhere in Lynchburg. There was some pitter patter of little feet overhead, but a whitenoise machine is provided on a bedside table to minimize that, if needed. Christopher's place is a good value all around and we will be sure to check its availability the next time we need to be in the area.

The place was well kept and clean. Almost brand new! Just be aware that you will have to drive to most of the amenities. Also you will have to pay a $20 per person fee for the use of the amenities and that wasn’t mentioned prior to renting. We went to Bottles and Bites on a Saturday night and it was great!
