We stayed in Room 2 and really enjoyed it! The room was neat, well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, etc and well-situated (just 5 mins by car and a quick 20 min walk) from the town centre. We actually looked forward to coming back to rest every night because it was so cosy. Angie even left us a whole bar of chocolate to gorge on :) Would recommend for a couple or lone traveller. My husband also booked a massage appointment with Angie and said it was great. She managed to work out the knots in his back and he felt very relaxed afterwards :)

We had a wonderful stay at Karen and Rob’s place. They maintain the house in excellent condition, and it is equipped with everything we needed. Rob welcomed us enthusiastically upon our arrival. The location is beautiful and quiet, and our family enjoyed a great time in the house, which has a river view and a private jetty for fishing. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a lovely stay at this perfect starting point on our adventures to see wild koalas & kangaroos (Raymond Island), wild seals (Lakes Entrance) and many more. Thank you for providing such a calm and wonderful place!

Beautiful apartment with panoramic views in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Easy check in and out and access to laundry facilities too. One of the nicest places we have stayed!

The Metung Pearl was a great place to explore Metung from. Matching the description, the apartment is small but cosy and full of natural light with views out to the lake. The apartment is in a quiet location, but only a couple of minutes walk to cafes and the pub. The best part is the private jetty. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast there, watching the swans and pelicans do their thing. Yu was a proactive host, with clear instructions and information in the lead up to the stay. Highly recommend the Metung Pearl to anyone wanting a fuss-free home base from which to explore Metung!

The weather was not kind to us so we were restricted in what we could do in the area and the visibility didn't let us truly appreciate the beautiful view, bird life and sunsets we had been expecting.....but you can't blame our hosts for that! However, the accommodation was so comfortable and provided everything we needed for a lovely get away. The kitchenette worked really well for our meals in, and we had a great dinner at the Metung pub only a few minutes drive away. Thank you Caroline for a great place to chill out and relax.

Perfect place to stay close to river & walking tracks.Very hot when I arrived but fan in the unit was enough to cool the unit.Cam & Selina are excellent hosts with lots of local knowledge.

We stayed here with our family for a weekend exploring Wilson's Promontory. The house is lovely and homely with everything you could need. Christy's communication was great right from the initial booking through to checking out. The beach which was a short walk away was stunning and the General Stores was very handy. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return again one day only next time staying for longer.

This perfectly situated log cabin allowed us to make the most of our time at the beach which was a short stroll away. The cabin was functional and clean. Meeting all our needs. Our host was easy to communicate with too. Thanks Lynne!

Location is 10/10 Comfortable beds, easy to use appliances, excellent entertaining area outside. We had the best long weekend here. 5 minute walk to the beach on a sleepy street! We will definitely be back!

Such a great holiday location for a family get away, including a 3 year old and a couple of dogs. Lovely, quiet location filled with beautiful birds in the backyard. Clear skies for star gazing at night. Close to the beach. House is really well stocked with everyone you could need, and relaxing out on the back deck was delightful.

we feel we were home, don't need to out for an activity - inside activities loaded, and kitchen has it all.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was stunning, with comfy furniture and a peaceful location. It’s just a short walk to a beautiful beach, and the minimal light pollution made for incredible stargazing. Marko was great to communicate with—friendly and quick to respond. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely clean Airbnb with all that you need and even a lockup garage. Very tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent location to the lake and The Tavern.

Chris was a great communicator & very helpful with questions we had before we arrived. The house is easy to find & check-in was a breeze. It had all the things we needed to make ourselves at home including a well laid-out kitchen area, utensils & some pantry essentials, a washing machine (no dryer but clothes lines on the back verandah) & even DVDs for a 5yo while dinner was made. There is also a BBQ which I didn't see mentioned in the amenities which was used on a couple of nights. Golden Beach was pretty quiet altho there were a few people at the beaches. They aren't really good for swimming out due to rips & quick drop-offs but nice for some time on the sand, paddling in the shallows or surfing. The town general store makes great old-style takeaway fish & chips, burgers, etc. & has very reasonably priced alcohol, food & household items. We thoroughly recommend it as a nice quiet place to get away to. Note: Reception on 4G phones was patchy & some days only the 5G phone worked.

Had everything we needed, great advice from the owner and we saw a Koala when we left in the morning!

Wonderful property that is walkable to the beautiful beach. Kitchen had pretty much all amenities you could ask for. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was cosy. A very peaceful stay with no interruptions!! Judy was very accomodating when we also asked for an earlier check in.

The Wheelhouse was one of our favourites stays ever. Grant (and Heidi) were responsive, very friendly and made some great local suggestions. We would love to stay there again. All the little extra touches make it impossible to fault!
